The 12th Annual St. Patricks Day Celebration Boogie
Trafficdiver replied to CSpenceFLY's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Very newbie friendly. Big big LZ. Outs for days. Very fun crowd. Lots of fun jumps. I brought two recently licensed skydivers down from Boston last year and they had a blast. I have more coming down this year. I would suggest getting your license first, as the AFF instructors there may be drunk. -
Eleven years later... He probably doesn't even know, that he ever jumped any of the canopies by now. Go and revive some more usefull threads =) Both canopies are still being built? His question is still valid and this is a great place to ask. Plus, he clearly spent some time digging around. How about we cut him some slack? H When flying outside vid, I like the Stiletto because it will get me back when the last TI out the door takes us long. I found the Katana ground hungry for my taste. As stated above, it's gonna depend on your personal preferences. LOL the dizzy.com paradox. If you ask a question "Dude, that's been asked a million times before, try the search" If you search " Dude way to harpoon that thread up from 5 years ago ...hahaha" You can't win.

'kingsman' skydiving question........
Trafficdiver replied to ElectricFetus's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Come down to Panama for the boogie on Contadora. Buy a tandem. Then you can ask one of the stuntmen who did the jump if he pulled at 300'. Oh make sure to get the video package and try the Piña Colatá...they're killer. -
Hi. the tunnel is a blast and I'm totally addicted to it as well. Are you familiar with shared tunnel time groups on FB? I fly in New Hampshire and are in a couple of these pages. When people have extra time in the tunnel they advertise it and you can hop in with them. Not sure about CO, but I'm sure if you ask around you can get in with other skilled fliers and really increase yr knowledge and abilities. Learning to freefly can also be frustrating, but it's worth it in the long run. Have fun.

Blow up doll rodeo.

Damn!

You should demo one. I demo'd an optimum 176 this summer. I've never flown a reserve or even a 7 cell before, so I have nothing to compare it to. It's nothing like my sabre 2 for sure, but I was able to get within 10' of the peas so it's pretty controllable.

Wow! Troll or not that's the most epic internet meltdown I've ever seen. Can the moderators make this a sticky? Are you related to Gregspo?

I'm starting a new retail branch of my business and have already dropped a shit ton of money on this and it probably won't be open to til June and I wake up every morning freaking out. But it's already bringing in some cash too, without the showroom being open so that's a little bit comforting. I've been dreaming about this for years so now it's "get it done" time and I'm excited and scared shitless at the same time. I really wish I could jump more during the winter and I'm fucking ripping it in the tunnel so there's that.

It should end at Tiki boogie in Maine.

Maybe...do you know for a fact he made that coaching change in 2006, coinciding with the change in who brings the footballs? Did he not bench players for fumbling prior to 2006? ill have to look into it, they had a few changes in Offensive coordinators so it could be. Can you prove they have been deflating balls since 2006?
-
Or it could be that Belichek started benching players for fumbling. In fact Laurence Maroney got shitcaned for not being able to hang on to the ball. They also found out that only one ball was deflated more than a few ticks off 12.5 psi. Total bs story made up by the Colts to discredit the Pats. Nice to see everyone believe it and judge the Patriots before any real proof comes out..

I'm 38 and I don't even consider stretching or exercising. it would probably help for the tunnel too...oh well.

Do AFF on your next jump. 2 tandems is one more than you need.

Honestly FF is super difficult and dangerous if you cork out. I have some people on my dropzone that I'm not comfortable freeflying with because they won't put enough time or effort into becoming safe. If it's a FF heavy DZ you may want to invest some time it the tunnel to work on the basics. If you don't, because of finances or lack of time, you need to respect the fact that some people will not want to Freefly with you. Honestly at your numbers you dont seem like you could be a current, safe freeflyer. As for rigging I have no idea and I hate packing so there.

Smile, relax and pull. -
Have your tried another DZ? Is there more to the story (did you fuck one of those girls husbands? Do you have really bad BO? Has anyone ever called you a psycho hose beast? ) I only ask the second part because 5 years is a somewhat long time to be in the sport and DZ's breed drama sometimes. Also at 5 years and 150 jumps you should know most of the basics, so if you are asking questions like "Hey what's that called (and point to the RSL)" then you might need to reconsider....but I don't know what questions you're asking cause you being very vague.

No one starts out as a good parachute lander. Pain is sobering but it's a good teacher too. Keep at it and you'll be standing them all up. It probably took me 20 or so jumps before I even stood most of them up. -
