You and Bigben in a face-to-face sit, knees locked. Chopchop and Sean head-down, holding on to yours and Bigben's leg straps, you and Bigben holding the knees of the head-down fliers. The freefly stingers then can foot-dock your shoulders, or spock, or whatever. It falls really fast, and looks great on video, and if it's stable is a great toy for agile freefliers. I'll try to find a picture.

You got a mouse in your pocket? Or is that the royal "we"? I don't think the people involved in any of the cases you cite are uniformly anything. Just the people who they gave the keys to, if it's a democracy, or the people they are subject to, otherwise. Yeah, yeah, I know, Bush didn't "win" yada-yada. But the folks in democracies should take who they vote for seriously. The folks in totalitarian regimes have my prayers.

Ray, are you using a packer? I'm thinking you gotta be. God, just exits and landings? Argh. The tension of the exit shot is huge. Then you get to settle down a little bit in your slot and keep steepness and proximity, but it's nothing compared to flying an exit. Especially with a kick-ass team. So to just do an exit, and then break-off and deploy, yeah, tough day. And don't try to party with those folks. Something about them being REAL vikings.

Well told. They're just rats in fur coats and masks. Vermin, I tell ya! Never corner one you don't have a gun pointed at. The "click-click-click" sound it made as it pranced into your kitchen or whatever was those giant freaking claws. When that thing gets trapped in your yard or porch don't get too freaked out by the sound it makes.

High tech is always a PITA (pain in the @ss). With computers, I've found if you spike in at the top end you have the longest life of product. The D10 is just a refinement of the D60. All of these cameras just produce hi-res JPEG images. The pixel range of both is sharp as the human eye is going to percieive on average, and there doesn't appear to be a replacement for the eyeball on the horizon. The next generation will be lighter, faster, and marginally sharper, and will have a bigger reciever so that a 20 mm lens is 20mm instead of 32mm on film, but I can live with that. I don't think SLR digital is going to get much cheaper, just more feature filled. I'll have some regrets next year, but I'll take some great pictures during that time.

Hmm. 8 jumps yesterday, 4 freefly, 1 9-way, 1 7-way, and 2 paid tandem videos with stills. Two jumps today, a 4 way and a 8 way. My allergies are starting to be a problem, so just maybe you had an even better day!
