  1. That looks like some really cool stuff to me. Kinda pricy though at $200.00. Skydive Radio
  2. Met her at the dz. Jumped with her. Jumped on her. Married her. Life is good, she even packs for me sometimes. :) Skydive Radio
  3. That is so funny. I almost swiped a pair the last time I went bowling for that exact reason. Van's work pretty well too though. Skydive Radio
  4. This is exactly what I have with the access database I was refering too above. If any of you would like a copy of it just drop me an email. It is about 550K which is over the limit for attachments here. Skydive Radio
  5. I can email you a copy of the access database I use if you want. Just send me an email. You will have to change the names in and locations in the drop down windows to suit your needs. I enter all the information into the database using the "forms" view. Check all the boxes that apply to your jump (freefly, tandem, rw, etc) and then you will be able to filter later to find certain types of jumps. You will also be able to search by date or any other field in the database. Works real well for me. I never tape over anything except tandems, so I have a lot of tape and this helps me keep it straight. Skydive Radio
  6. How much is that printer? Skydive Radio
  7. So I have choices between Blow, Hand and Tounge? Can I choose all 3? Skydive Radio
  8. You won't regret buying one. Well worth the $55.00. Skydive Radio
  9. How would not having a cameye make you "better off"? It gives a clear indication of what your camera is doing, it allows you to control your camera with one button that you can mount in any spot you like, and it warns you when you are running low on tape or battery. Why would you not want one? Does your friend possibly have a camera without a lanc port? I know some people at my dz that have JVC or Panasonic cameras that do not have lanc ports and they can't use the cameye because of it. Bummer. Skydive Radio
  10. So at that resolution, how many frames per second can you take, and how big is each file? Skydive Radio
  11. Dont know anything about the Hawkeye except for the pictures I've seen, but I love my Optik. It's light, comfy, and with a d-box, very clean. Skydive Radio
  12. I have no doubt that it can be done. It just seems to me that any time you are in drougless freefall and not on your belly, you are increasing the chances of a side spin. Especially if your passenger is an actual student. Skydive Radio
  13. You can edit .mov or any other video format in Premier. Skydive Radio
  14. I use a 4 channel stero mixer hooked to the camera audio and a cd player to mix the music. You can buy a nice stand alone titler on ebay for around $100. Add a vcr with flying erase heads and you are off. Skydive Radio
  15. When you enlarge to 8X10 on a quality printer and good paper, how does the photo stand up next to an 8X10 from 35mm film? Skydive Radio
  16. Plus your probably increasing the chances of a side spin when you transition back and forth. Skydive Radio
  17. Could not find any video on your website. Only stills. Skydive Radio
  18. Peter, I was just reading your profile. Tell me a story about mile high and Jeff Sands. You can pm or email me if you want. Skydive Radio
  19. And you know what they say about men with big ears... ...big muffs! Skydive Radio
  20. But is'nt that kind of like kicking a gift horse in the mouth? I mean I never complain about your genders teeth. It just comes with the territory. Skydive Radio
  21. The only thing I could find on kazaa was for premier 5.0. I am running 6.0.1. Is there much difference? Skydive Radio
  22. I really don't know of any. But someone once told me that the dry erase head cleaners for your vcr were hard on the heads because they were somewhat abrasive. Don't know if this person even knew what they were talking about and frankly can't even remember where I heard it. It is a sony product for use in their cameras...You would think they would know what they are doing. Skydive Radio
  23. Is it a dry or wet head cleaner? I have heard bad things about dry head cleaners for vcr's. They are abrasive? Do you know anything about this? Do they even make a wet head cleaner for dv? Skydive Radio
