  1. Has TK stated the TiSb specimen is an alloy? How did he decide? Did someone else decide? Any proof presented by anyone? Was the TiSb particle buried on the tie in the Spring of the year, or Fall ?
  2. You can calculate the time the door was open with stairs down using Sluggo's time chart, or the PI Transcript. Not sure when and where the seats were removed but it may have been in Reno? (Eckley doesnt say anything about "seats" in her statement - guess R99 invented that so he could refute it. )
  3. One question I have: could the combustion process in these engines actually 'create' some of the strange 'alloys' as well as shapes of some particles found on the Cooper tie which was 'in' the cabin area? It's a wild thought but . . . the pressures and temps in those engines are formidable.
  4. NEW - Cabin Coated with engine exhaust residue - Required Cleaning After Engine Exhaust Exposure as per NWA employee. SUSAN ECKLEY – FORMER NWA EMPLOYEE [NWA Facebook Page] “ My crew took that aircraft back to Mpls with a stop in Spokane with handful of passengers. It would have been grounded this day in age. Crew would have option not to go, also. Forced back then. Aircraft was inspected only an hour or so by Feds. There was black smoke residue inside aircraft from exhaust, flying with aft stairs down during incident. Cleaned on stop in Spokane, finally. Northwest didn’t want to put aircraft out of commission as they would lose a dime. I was also visiting Spokane tower on 4hr layover and heard beginning of incident. Asked to leave of course. We had no idea we would be going to Seattle and returning that aircraft to Mpls. Never heard a words from the company after. “ Kaye is aware of this Facebook post but apparently says it is of no value. 5. Interesting but speculative. You overlooked another old method. The method of bending over one paper match in its cover and rubbing it with one quick motion on the strike strip, with match still attached in the cover! Is done with a couple of fingers of one one hand while still holding the matchbook. An art. You have to be a pro to do it and not many people can without catching themselves on fire.. There is probably a movie of it somewhere ,,, keep gaming this. You will find other tricks you can claim Cooper did. Maybe with no hands. Whatever confirms your confirmation. How did Cooper pee? Any special tricks/lessons there that apply to DB Cooper based on things that only you can see?
  6. Or, I could just look for a Cooper that doesn't need gender affirming treatment and doesn't contact book writers. We know Cooper had conversations with the supportive ear 'Tina'.No hint he discussed male social oppression with her. ? All of this is easily deflected. Just an introductory letter. Easily dismissed as just a 'first contact' further illuminated by future events and letters. All very fluid. Means nothing and can mean anything. Like Cooper forums - could take years for people to explain what is really on their minds! Dismiss the first letter - doesnt mean 'anything' but could mean 'everything' ? Only further reading will clarify ! Rattlesnake or fat rubber hose with a mouse inside wiggling ? Gunther's intro Cooper letter strikes as being one inch away from Cooper saying he is the victim of a witch hunt. How perfectly timely and modern! Cooper hijacked a commercial jet liner to escape male menopause!
  7. What was the date of the release of the flight comms to the public? Am I safe in assuming Gunther never had access to them ? Likewise, Mr Cooper or the Alias who allegedly wrote Gunther ? Does Gunther mention Cooper saying he had a grudge ? Gunther's socalled letter from Cooper states clearly why the writer is contacting Gunther, and the reason why he hijacked flight 305, as follows: I want to tell my story, particularly why I did what I did. It is important to me. The recent death of another man who tried the same foolish stunt makes me unhappy. But, principally, I want to tell the story of what happens to a middle aged man in this society today, and how the trap of marriage and money can close in on him, until he must take a risk to escape. The middle aged and middle income men are the forgotten men of our time. This is what I must tell, partly to make amends for what I did, and to also make the world think about we forgotten men. I am writing to you because an article by you, in True Magazine in 1962, impressed me deeply. It was a “Do It Yourself Divorce for Fed-Up Males”, in which you described the problem of disappearing. This extraordinary article was the start of my long journey. It started me thinking and showed me what the problems would be, particularly the problem of documents. More recently, I saw another article by you, on the same subject in a woman’s magazine, and I believe you have a feeling for this subject and will be sympathetic to me. . . . . . According to Gunther's account, DB Cooper hijacked flight 305 as a protest against middle aged male oppression. A subject Gunther had written about previously on two occasions. 'Cooper' thinks Gunther will be sympathetic to his 'cause'. Does any of this comport with the portrait of Cooper given by the stews or the flight comms Transcript? According to his letter 'Alias' has been brooding about male oppression since Gunther's article on the issue clear back in 1962! By 1971 'Alias' decides to hijack a 727 to highlight his 'social concern'. Now he is writing Gunther to explain and 'make amends' !
  8. 1985: Max Gunther publishes his book entitled “D.B. Cooper: What Really Happened.” In the book the man claiming to be D.B. Cooper describes a visit to a skydive center near Los Angeles in 1971. 2017: FBI documents regarding the hijacker’s visit to Elsinore Skydive Center are released. Somehow Max Gunther wrote about this event 12 years before the FBI files were released. Either Max had an inside source, or he was in fact talking to the same man who visited Elsinore in 1971. Prove he got this from Himmelsbach! You cant. Nobody can. You may have an 'opinion' but your opinion is not fact! Can you prove your opinion? Why should your opinion count any more than anyone else's opinion ? Can you provide the FBI files which mention a specific suspect at Elsinore, that connects with Gunther's suspect, if one even existed ? Your opinion/conjecture is not fact. Likewise are we safe in assuming that your suspect is not Gunther's suspect? You suspect peddlers seldom agree on anything! No small wonder yours would be a different "opinion". Opinions/claims vs opinions/claim .
  9. Any FBI files on this Elsinore 'suspect' proving this was not just Gunther's story? There should be documentation.
  10. 2017: FBI documents regarding the hijacker’s visit to Elsinore Skydive Center are released. Somehow Max Gunther wrote about this event 12 years before the FBI files were released. Either Max had an inside source, or he was in fact talking to the same man who visited Elsinore in 1971. Thus: DB Cooper should be named in 1971 Elsinore Skydive Center records if Gunther's claims are correct !
  11. A more in-depth look at Max Gunther's claims: https://dbcooperhijack.com/2018/12/23/db-cooper-and-max-gunther/ Were Gunther and Himmelsbach competing to get their books on the Cooper Hijacking out first ? Attached: the letter Gunther claims he received from DB Cooper, which Gunther claimed started his involvement in the DB Cooper case. An interview of Gunther: Dave Lipson says: February 28, 2020 at 5:40 pm I apologize but this seems like the only method I have of contacting you. I had a very interesting conversation with Max Gunther back in 1989, where he told me some things that we’re not in the book. While this information does not resolved many of the questions still unanswered, there are two anecdotes that I know would be very interesting, especially to “What Really Happened” buffs. I conducted this interview while working as an executive producer for the Rick Dees morning show on KIIS radio in Los Angeles. Feel free to contact me if you’d like to discuss this information. 12. I have no idea without asking people that knew his family. Sadly some of those people have passed away.
  13. Good question. Writing does not pay like banking and inheritance does. Max was born privileged.
  14. How do you and your Louiga board know? Did you personally know Louija? Jo Weber a 'tainted element' .? ... whatever that means ? Can anyone acquire your bullshitting skills ? Did Max and Ralph discuss Project Blue Book?
  15. irrelevent..is spelled irrel-e-VANT. Look at Gunther's bibliography - leveraging, get rich schemes - 'axioms' (his title). Being contacted by somebody claiming to be Cooper, if that actually happened?, is no basis for writing a whole book on the DB Cooper case. Authors pick titles of interest to the public. Authors dont write books in a vacuum. Writers need 'sales;'. Gunther's whole background was in banking through his father, but Gunther himself wasnt a banker and apparently had no interest in going into banking. Flyjack, I doubt you know anything about Gunther the person but you dont mind playing an expert about him! I know people who knew Gunther! So Flyjack, why dont you tell us about projects Gunther researched or looked into using his banking contacts at the Chase Manhattan etc, but chose not to write books about and why he steered away from those subjects ? \ Stop the preaching, FJ. Did you know Gunther personally? Do you know anyone who did know him personally? The best you have is just an 'opinion' like everyone else. Did you go to school with Gunther or ever sit at his table? Give us a break FJ.
  16. Your characterization of Gunther is not accurate. Gunther is classified as a niche writer. Risk vs Reward and Identifying/Leveraging markets. Banking background through his Swiss banker Father. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Gunther Max Gunther (1927–1998) was an Anglo-American journalist and writer. He was the author of 26 books, including his investment best-seller, The Zurich Axioms. Born in England, Gunther moved to the United States at age of 11 after his father, Franz Heinrich (Frank Henry) became the manager of the New York branch of a leading Swiss bank, Schweizerischer Bankverein (Swiss Bank Corporation or SBC). In 1998, the bank was merged with Union Bank of Switzerland to form UBS, the second largest wealth management organisation in the world and the second largest bank in Europe. Gunther's book, The Zurich Axioms is largely based on his father's trading advice. (taught in business schools). Gunther graduated from Princeton University in 1949 and served in the United States Army from 1950 to 1951. He worked at Business Week magazine from 1951 to 1955 and during the following two years he was the contributing editor for Time Magazine. He also contributed to Playboy, True, Reader's Digest, TV Guide, McCall's, and Saturday Evening Post. He lived most of his adult life in Ridgefield, Connecticut. His basis for writing about the Cooper case is 'risk vs reward'. Was Jo Weber flirting with the idea that 'she was Clara' ? Jo spent a great deal of time (and money) trying to find Clara and she freely discussed her searches with others. Jo was interested in 'leveraging the Cooper case' and she traveled all the way from saying 'Duane might have been Cooper' to claiming she had evidence he was DB Cooper. The whole thing is grifting. Gunther died in 1998 and was conveniently no longer alive to thwart Jo's claims ... Leveraging and risk vs reward is a theme through all of Gunther's writings . . .
  17. You cover several options. So ? There are other options. If the FBI does read this forum Maybe the FBI will release more on this based on . . . there being more on this ? For some reason the name Jo Weber comes up ? Are you suggesting you have a litmus test for Gunther. There are a couple [of] other things you have to hold back... "I cannot forecast to you the action of Gunther. It is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma, but perhaps there is a key." We shall defeat them on the beaches, and in the air, . . .. Didnt Jo claim to have found and talked to Clara ? Didnt Sluggo go to Jo's home hoping to find the box containing Jo's notes on her conversations with Clara ? Did Sluggo return and report back to Larry and Gray what he had found at Jo's? Were Jo and Clara close ?
  18. By taking on the Cooper story he becomes the center of attention. Nobody can claim he was one of America's favorite authors - investigative journalists with important credentials. Is Cooper found and in custody because of Gunther!? No. I like it when the carnival comes to town and you get to see the Yeti from Tibet, the two headed lady, and a piece of Noah's arc. All for less than $3 bucks@! That's noteworthy news. A poll found that nobody that attended the carnival had ever heard of Gunther, until now and Cooper forums ?
  19. What is the subject of your post? Georger or WSHM redactions/missing lines ? As usual you havent told us anything.
  20. Unredacted TTY ? https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1k__MfEN6CmaaWPbFjYrphul3F-LHE341 Quote: "any redactions on the FBI teletype are merely references to other flights unrelated to NORJACK. There's no conspiracy! " (missing or redacted lines someone at WSHM identified have nothing to do with a coverup. Had WSHM dug deeper it would know that! Likewise R99.R99 is disingenuous. ) ?
  21. good news...................................... thanks.
  22. I have never posted much about my relationship with Wayne. Sluggo, as he called himself (it was a joke) was a private person in his personal life. He had a strong technical-academic background with a number of technical interests he spent his lifetime developing. He was an employee in the nuclear-security industry with years of training and experience behind him. He was a private pilot. He also had a deep interest in paleontology and had visited the SUI-ISU field museums to get to know their collections, where he met some of the museum staff members in Iowa. Sluggo was interested in Tom Kaye's appointment and work. The Cooper case was just one small aspect of Wayne's total life and interests. He was totally devoted to his wife and they were a successful team. Wayne's flight comms 'timeline' and his map collection remain unique contributions in the Cooper case. Wayne was especially proud of his interview of Ralph HImmelsbach! Wayne was able to arrange meetings with Jo Weber during which Jo allowed Wayne to review her boxes of 'Cooper notes', from the thousands of people Jo had talked to by telephone, during her Cooper involvement. Wayne had integrity. Wayne was unique - there is no doubt about that! I miss Wayne and his contributions. Wayne@ was a reliable trustworthy person you could count on; based on my long experience with him which was tested a number of times. ! I miss Wayne.
  23. Play it again Sam - 14 years and running.
  24. REally! ?? Amazing ball of tripe. But makes good fictional reading. Ive wandered into the wrong bar! How are Tin Man & Dorothy ? WSHM personnel determined the missing or redacted portions of the ARINC teletype transcripts. I did not have anything to do with this. I guess that's true. WSHM said as much, but what does that mean? What were their socalled analysts qualifications/backgrounds - we never knew ? So many experts - so little tyme. For example, WSHM never clarified how or (whom) was responsible for the Flt Comms Transcript getting into the hands of the Seattle PI to be published? Is that when the socalled redactions occurred - for the public? We presume the document was passed to the PI by some FBI Agent ? What FBI Agent did the redactions? Who in Seattle was qualified to do that? There is a large missing history according to you. WSHM only says there are 'missing or redacted' passages. You say only 'redactions' ... We know Carr chose Sluggo as his outlet to the public. Carr didnt redact anything in the documents he conveyed to Wayne. R99 yours is a full blown conspiracy theory. REDACTIONS INTENTIONAL! Who did the redactions? Neither you or WSHM has ever addressed that openly! Edwards says your theory is a misunderstanding, tinged with paranoia! . xxx: why dint Sluggo endorse your west path theory ? Explain that or your claim of redactions ?
