  1. Georger, The last word in your reply above, which you previously used in another post that you deleted, proves that you really are a former Vice-President of the USA. Sorry. What it proves is you respond to "bait", given your current hostile disposition. Hope you get your previously good spirits back soon. It makes one wonder about your whole analysis!
  2. I still have that old rig from the same period... same kind of canopy... want to jump it to prove he tumbled??? And "there" Mr. Seattle News guy is your expert at work. She goes by Amazon. And she is worth her weight in gold (or salmon)! If you pay attention to anyone here, pay attention to Amazon. The rest is all Kah-kah.
  3. So official, historical records are usually given greater weight. The official weather reports from numerous locations, the FBI report, even the TV news reports (the outside shots) all indicate the same thing. 40s, scattered light rain/snow showers, winds below 20. I'm not saying you are a liar, but how do you reconcile the difference? reply] Well to begin with, you might want to go back and read what the woman actually said. THAT is all needs to be saide - Potatoes.
  4. Aerodynamically, with the money bag and other items he apparently attached to himself in a non-symmetrical manner, it is practically a given that Cooper would tumble. Robert99 was there. (standing next to Blevins)
  5. Ho-Ho. Ho-Ho-Ho. Turbulence. Turbulence. Turbulence. Go Turbulence. and all the little turbuloids. Was the galley on hinges too? Ho Ho Ho.
  6. I suppose you are right in saying Christiansen's brother was the first to come out and say he thought Kenny could be the hijacker. That's true. Gray did the first investigation, with some assistance from Porteous. Later, Porteous came to me with the book proposal. I've always regretted that Porteous cut Gray out of the information loop at that point. It would have been better if either Gray alone, or the two of us together, had interviewed the witnesses. I think both Skyjack and Into The Blast would have been the better for it. Self-doubt and wondering. Two of the things that go along with the Cooper Curse. Your curse -not ours! As my grandmother used to say from the kitchen window while baking at 4:00AM: "Ach' chazer bleibt ach chazer! "
  7. Based on reports by qualified observers, Hurricane Marla was spotted reviewing posts on DZ earlier this week. some people know when to quit while ahead.
  8. Geoff Gray, as we know, got a look at the FBI files on Cooper, including the witness descriptions. In reality, the witnesses were all over the place with the descriptions and agreed on very little. See his book, pg 92-95. Also, Christiansen was heavily tanned. I have more than a dozen photos that show this to be true. Also a letter where Christiansen speaks of being 'tanned brown as a potato chip' from hanging out at the beaches in Japan. Do you know the difference between an olive and a potatoe chip? Or care? Or the difference between Norwegian skin and Mediterranean skin? Could Cooper have been Mongolian? Do you plan to make Cooper be Mongolian next!? Are you in need of an Exorcism, or give them !?
  9. How about something a bit off-topic, instead. When the going gets tough, the tough view cartoons about Sarah Palin, scientology, and a few other weird topics...(*laughs*) This goes to show I just don't pick on Marla Cooper, although lately I've considered doing a parody series about B.K. This is the DB Cooper thread on Dropzone. Not Newsvine. Do your parodies and personal stuff about world affairs on - Newsvine? Or any one of ten thousand other free blog sites. As you yourself once complained, quote: "You're wasting bandwidth here by off-topic posts" ? Got anything tonight about the Cooper case? For example: what do you think about the wind shifts buried in the Weather Underground data you are fond of posting ? Did you (will you now) notice that?
  10. Jerry, Keeping in mind that you and I have some big differences about the flight path of the airliner, could you ask the NG which way they headed after taking off as they attempted to intercept the airliner? There are some comments in Ralph H.'s book that seems to indicate they headed to the southwest. One helo went almost straight north of Portland clear up to the Ariel area ... after some back and forth they turned their search light off so as not to alert Cooper (one said). They were looking for any sign of a fire ? Without any lights on it was nearly pitch black (one said). With that fruitless endeavor they came back south and . . . (above from notes)
  11. No one is calling Ralph H. a liar. But you are claiming that his version of the weather takes precedence over all other weather reports. You may call the weather that evening "rotten" but would you also answer the following questions: 1. What are your qualifications for making "authorative" statements about the weather conditions? 2. Do you know what barometric pressure is and how it is determined and adjusted to report it? 3. Do you know how visibility is determined and reported? 4. Do you know how cloud heights are determined and reported? 5. Do you know how cloud layers are defined? 6. Do you know how ground wind speed is measured and reported? 7. Do you know how ground wind direction is determined and reported? 8. Do you know how rainfall is measured and reported? 9. Do you know how humidity is measured and reported? 10. Do you know how winds aloft are determined and reported? 11. Do you know the differences in the way meteorological data is reported to the general public and to aviators? 12. Is there anything else in your background that makes you feel more qualified to make weather observations and reports than the National Weather Service personnel, FAA weather trained personnel, and other trained personnel? 13. Is a general statement in Ralph H.'s book about the weather more accurate than actual weather reports and observations released by the FBI in Seattle? 14. Anything else you would care to add or comment on? I exist, therefore I am. Georger, I am certain you are on the right track. Damned tootin - headed for Grandma's house!
  12. the problem I always see with these people that come forward is the fact that they never give key evidence to prove there story because they don't know it! ! The above is so true! How's Mr. Hutter356Magnum, and all the little Red Ryders ?

  14. Hi and thanks for this detailed report. Just to let you know I have reports which seem to corroborate your version, in the same areas you designate. What the final resolution of this will be, I do not know, but thank you for coming forward with this. G.
  15. The infamy comes straight from Blevins. Blevins has replaced the former unflanked door photo on Google, with his own, of course. Blevins never fails to mark his own territory! The caption on Blevin's propogandized version reads: "A peculiar photo of Kenny walking in ... " and "It was discovered hidden behind another pictire". Key Buzz words: PECULIAR PHOTO and HIDDEN. Well of course why not! Blevins needs to set his agenda early with some well chosen obviousities! Obvious to Blevins .... but not to the rest of the thinking world. What makes the photo "peculiar"? How does Blevins know the photo was "hidden" ? Rather than have SS progandist Blevins come back and regale uswith 50 more "The Dialogues of Blevins", lets just admit Blevins is correct, in every thing he has ever said. Sorry Jo. Blevins wins. He has the biggest hammer and the largest toll of vitims. KC was Cooper. Peculiar. Hidden. Blame the Copernicans!
  16. Please define GORGE! What area boundaries are you talking about? Where did you encounter storm(s)? Area bounded by what on the north, east, west, south ??? Names of cities, towns, villages affected? What was the time frame? Please be specific. Reports need to have specifics to be of any use. Thanks. G.
  17. MERRY CHRISTMAS MAC! Thanks for the pictures. Quade: someone gnarfled the page again - it needs resetting. Thanks. G.
  18. Jerry be as specific as you can about this - please!
  19. I thought it was you who brought Mensa up? I thought it was funny whoever did. I just threw Mensa in, seemed appropriate at the time? I think it was Guru312 who mentioned Mensa in a post to Jerry Thomas. There was something about rubbing his Mensa card to help understand what Jerry wrote. Basically, I would like to know how that works, if it does. My understanding of the situation is that with a Mensa membership card and a ten dollar bill, you can usually be assured of getting a hamburger at McDonalds. I hadn't heard of a secondary use for them. If having the card gives senior discounts I want a card!
  20. To answer another of your questions, I am not saying that there was no turbulence. However, I do not remember anything in the transcripts that even mentioned inflight turbulence. I thought there was ref to turbulence in H's book? I agree there is nothing (obvious) about turbulence in the transcripts. I just find it wierd that there is not ample testimony-documentation about the wweather condx, from many perspectives, right in the FBi files. Apparently Tom & Carol found nothing. I mean with the whole hero angle from thepress you would think somebody would pause to ask and publish: "he bailed into hellish weather" or "he bailed into turbulence" or "he bailed into a pleasant but foggy evening at the beach" ? There is more attention given to his shoes than the weather!
  21. Georger, First, what is the source for your statement about a Mensa card? Did the source mention a more esoteric organization than Mensa? Just asking. . I thought it was you who brought Mensa up? I thought it was funny whoever did. I just threw Mensa in, seemed appropriate at the time?
  22. At least Georger and 377 continue to treat me in a civil matter and my replies will be condensed to answer the inflammatory questions by only making replies to them. . Have a great Christmas Jo. And a prosperous New Year.
  23. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cT1yvqcDZZw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1_Cx_gF6ds&feature=related http://videosift.com/video/Jet-engines-are-great-for-human-projectiles great vids!
  24. 377, I believe that Georger was saying that the high velocity exhaust gas from the engine(s) initially induces a flow toward the exhaust gas centerline, and it does. That would, in effect, suck the parachute towards the exhaust gas. As the exhaust gas moves further from the engine, it expands, mixes with the turbulent flow created by the airframe, and then starts a 5 or 10 minute process of returning to it original (before the airplane passed by) state. Sometimes, it takes even longer to get back to normal conditions. Tangling with turbine engine exhausts and the turbulence behind big aircraft are definitely no-nos. Yes. Commonly called 'jet blast' I think ? Why risk it especially if he has never tried it before or does not have special knowledge about jet bailouts? Get free of the plane which takes mere seconds, then pull. Be free of the plane and everything associated with it asap, in the most straightforward manner possible. That is what he wants. He is n-number of feet just below the engine. Does he know how many feet long the unfurled chute will be? Why risk the chute being torn to shreds by a jet engine blast? He wont unless he is experienced. If he is experienced that is a whole other universe.
  25. Its not the intake, but outflow from the engine. If Cooper is a novice what does he know? Its clear he's trying to avoid obvious problems. If he has never jumped out the back of a 727 how (what) does he know? That engine is right above his head. And one to each side. Anyone knows you dont stand behind a jet engine! And why risk being snagged on anything associated with those stairs? Get free of the plane, then pull. He probably does know he will be free of the plane in mere fractions of seconds. Why risk anything else? Have your hand on the ring, let go of the plane, then pull, 1, 2, 3. I think we can be sure he had thought this out and had a plan for the exit (leaving the plane). (He wanted to be rid of that plane clear back at Seattle!)
