  1. Just why would Jerry's admission be 10 crow (and a fruit tree)? Are you saying JT's claims will be dispelled? Why the fruit tree? Have anything to do with the Tie and the spores? Reading between the line here and that is NOT a good thing to do when Georger is the speaker of the house. partridge in a pear tree
  2. I think you have to audition. Oh no....it was screened - you have to be screened. So....if you don't want to go through the x-ray machine, you'll have to step into the little room so they can pat you down. Leave your WMDs at home. In Jerry's case, he definately should not arrive riding his bulldozer, twin bears Marta and Ishmael following, and when signing in 'Jer, dont use an X or carve on the wall: KILD BAR ON DAT TRE. Otherwise he should be OK. Oh! Entry fee is ten crows. (and a fruit tree).
  3. I think my head just exploded. Why didn't I think of this? Tom found no threads in the 3 bills - but they will be found now - just as predicted on page 4 pane seven, in the Franco-Moosean comic, where Dan is freefalling and pulls at his pubic hair and says: "Ouch! I wish I was at Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. Or in my observatory on plaines d'Abraham looking for AB Bootootez".
  4. So stop asking! And dont confuse Giving with what goes on in prison yards, where mere survival is at a premium! Hunks beware.
  5. Is my map wrong or has Oregon re-arranged the Interstate Highways since 1971? According to current maps, Biggs, Oregon (presumably your Biggs Junction) is at Mile Post 104 on I-84 which actually does pass through the Columbia River Gorge. You are presumably referring to Newberg, Oregon which is on the southwest side of the Portland area and west of I-5. So far as I can determine, I-5 is not even close to the Columbia River Gorge. Without further word to complicate anything - Here are some maps. Self explanatory.
  6. What in Hell is a "BK vein" ? BK Topper? (Burger King) ? Vein that runs to a Burger King in your head? What does any of this have to do with DB Cooper? Why not keep your encyclopedia of personal nosepicking you think is funny, to yourself and out of public sight?
  7. Thanks. Hope we can have some exchanges later -
  8. Bruce, in your work on this case so far, with all the interviews you have done, have you picked up any anecdotes about the weather (in the V23 corridor) that afternoon and evening? Especially anything you would trust from reputable sources? Thanks, G.
  9. Nobody has ever been proven to have died, jumping out of an AFLAC duck, either. So if its fits your bias, use it. It's different. Nobody has jumped from an AFLAC duck. Hundreds of skydivers, an unknown number of military jumpers and even a whuffo skyjacker have successfully jumped from a 727. One 727 jumper is missing: Dan Cooper. All others lived as far as I can tell. Quack Quack. 377 Good humor. Thanks!
  10. I realised that after I posted - no worry, its a good article with background on LD and the family by some who knew them. Thanks.
  11. works for me - Who was L.D. Cooper? Friends, family remember hardworking timber clan By Patrick Cliff / The Bulletin Published: August 06. 2011 4:00AM PST advertisement:
  12. Bob Knoss did make a good point: nobody has ever been proven to have died jumping out of a 727. There is only one jump where the outcome is unknown: Cooper's. Everyone else who jumped from a 727 made it to the ground alive as far as I know. Nobody has ever been proven to have died, jumping out of an AFLAC duck, either. So if its fits your bias, use it. Did you know we apparently have a college level mathematics teacher who has joined the forum? Has joined forces with Blevins.
  13. That would be cool.... then everyone could trapse off to the woods (AKA The Death Woods) around Ariel... I wonder if the squatch hunters from AnimalPlanetTV would be out there at the same time.... Blevins and Gayla are probably at some realtor's office right now, buying up (filing for) rights and patents, only looking for The Truth! Better to do these things early in private then pop put of the woodwork with them later. Is 377 involved? Then the next logical step is new fees and permits required at the private, local, State, and Federal level. Then Urban Renewal! Whose woods these are I think I know - his house is in the village though. He will not see me stopping here to watch his woods fill up wth UFO hunters, the DNR, and realtors and speculators/politicians, in Cooper Estates.
  14. What's your interest in the Cooper case? Any area of specialisation or expertise?
  15. When have I ever said that !? You said she had 'bits and pieces' of evidence. I asked WHAT bits of evidence. Fine. I'm asking you now. The Marla store is CLOSED! You threw rocks through the windows - remember!
  16. Georger, since when did you decide that Marla's story made sense? ] When have I ever said that !?
  17. Some others, (Georger included) could only discuss how good she looked at age 48. . Ive never said one word about her looks. You cant even get that straight! The rest of your long winded baloney isnt worth a reply - so I snipped it.
  18. Georger, etal, Take a look at post #1529, posted on the now locked Cooper thread, by Ckret on January 29, 2008. Ckret gives the weather at the time of the jump as follows: "Ceiling of 5,000 feet, broken clouds at 3500 feet, scattered clouds at 1500 feet. Winds of 12 to 14 knots, light rain showers". Actually, the broken clouds mentioned above at 3500 feet is the ceiling and the "ceiling of 5000 feet" is an overcast at 5000 feet. The above information, and other winds and weather that Ckret posted on the present and previous Cooper threads, are not taken from Weatherunderground. Instead, Crekt got that information from the FAA and the National Weather Service as did Weatherunderground. If you want to do some comparisons, compare Ckret's numbers with Weatherunderground. If the numbers are agreeable, then it looks like Ckret took at least some of his information from the FAA's hourly sequence reports. So you might compare the numbers at 7:50PM and 8:50PM (which are the times that the FAA observers record their observations for the next hourly sequence report). Assuming that Cooper jumped at 8:15PM, the FAA observations would have been made 25 minutes before and 35 minutes after Cooper's jump. A tornado is a rather highly localized weather event. An F5 tornado is a real terror and maybe a mile wide, but on a scale of 50+ miles it is still a localized event and not a large area event such as a Category 5 hurricane. I have reposted Ckret's posts for you and Blevins before, so nothing new there. Here (if I can get them up) are the data sheets Ckret shared, before you & Blevins were here, so now you have that. Still missing: any upper air charts or actual data; 3 charts/data sets issued daily according to NOAA but on that Thanksgiving weekend maybe only two for the day (and maybe only one with no upper air chart/data on that weekend!). Normally 3 charts issued at 6:00am and 6:00pm, I was told. Surface, mid level, and upper air charts. All of this old data still being stored at a university, I am told, but Ive never pursued that data (probably should have). Ive comunicated all of this before with you Robert99, privately. Still missing: anything to reconcile witness reports in the area with PDX and FAA data Robt99 has ? Robt99's conclusion: all witness reports are bogus. FAA data: If you have that hourly data you have never posted it here. I do not question you have it if you say you do,. its just that nobody else but you and your friends (Tom Kaye?) have ever seen that data. You have never mentioned specific upper air data in whatever FAA data you have; or maybe I missed that? Lastly, the tornado 5 Ap 1972 at Vancouver was an F3. If you look at the pDX data you will see winds building and a spike at 1:00pm at PDX in tandem with the tornado touchdown across the river at VCR at 1:00pm. The WX Underground data also shows sudden pressure drop at PDX abruptly, btwn noon and 1:00pm. Here are the charts Ckret posted (his second try with better image quality). Ive had to reduce the size on several to get them to post here - and there never was a 2B.
  19. There is one, and only one factual solution to this mystery. There are many possible scenarios playing out. You do not need "qualifications" to play at this, at least not any more qualifications than are necessary to play ring toss, for instance. There is some real complexity in the Cooper case, but its not of the made-up kind. Here's an example: Blevins etc are "proud" of pointing out the weather facts of the Cooper case based on the facts for PDX (Portland) recorded at Weather Underground. Meanwhile people keep coming forth with contrary testimony which Blevins etal quickly debunk as being 'crazy', 'lies', and 'stupid'. So, go to Weather Underground for April 5 1972 at Portland and once again you see a pleasant day in progress at Portland. Yes. The mere "facts" seem to suggest just that at: http://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/KPDX/1 972/4/5/DailyHistory.html? req_city=NA&req_state=NA&req_statename=NA The problem is, on the very same day just across the river at Vancouver, starting at about 1:00pm all hell was breaking forth, literally. A tornado struck Vancouver and rent a path of havoc all the way to Brush Prarie. And debris landed all the way over on Portland, and maybe some Cooper money too? something the mere weather report at Weather Underground does not tell you in straight-out terms! You have to dig a little deeper. See attached - You never would have guessed that "fact" by looking at WX Underground at PDX for the same day! Anyone which includes me, stating there was a tornado on 5 April 1972 just across the river from PDX, must be a "liar" based on Wx Underground data for PDX for the same day? So, those reporting high winds and rain east and north (to north east) of Vancouver on 24 Nov 1971 must all be "liars" by the Blevins standard ... or what? Blevins is a truth detector. No other witness is needed. Blevins knows "lies when he sees em"! Obviously! Some better detector than a Blevins Detector is needed, just in case facts have escaped his notice? Oh. Wait a minute. Maybe there is some data, buried within the data, after all ? It says what? I wonder what it is?
  20. Soh? You and 10,000 other people asking questions, wondering. Was it your case to prove? No. Was it Marla's to prove? Yes. The wheel has already been invented. No need for ten million new patents all claiming special insight. All it does is reduce the value of patents and make them all worthless. Then what!? Thanks for YOUR humongous contribution to the Cooperphelia. (this is humor in case you have to be told) On the other hand, if you cut Marla off at the head then what do we learn? Marla is the story (not Blevins etal)? Blevins wants Marla silenced and gone so he can take her place - get his market share back - thats all! I want to hear Marla, for all kinds of reasons! Not you. Not Blevins. Not Good Luck Johnathan! Marla is the one with the story compsoed of all kinds of bits and pieces, from somewhere. What does Blevins have? Nothing! BIG HUGE NOTHING! I want to hear Marla. She is (or was) the one with the story! Does that compute? (But Blev chased her off! ) Who do you want to hear? Blevins or Marla?
  21. dont get hung up in the Death Clouds. We have Death Woods. Now "Death Clouds". Take your global positioning device! You may not be able tosee getting home - you may wind up in Pace Florida, at the Cooper Bowl!
  22. she claims to have - no proof she has for any longer than it took for Mucklow to hang up! Jo Weber would call God if she could find a telephone number!
  23. Mr. Blevins joining the fray has not helped in any regard. Why have hundreds of others remained silent? Why has it always become Mr. Blevin's personal task to straighten out the world ... on 500 different topics under the Sun, including Marla? In a twist of humor the moderator of this forum even suggested the whole Marla Affair was a conspiracy concocted to 'disrupt Mr. Blevins' ? Is Mr. Blevins THAT important, in any realm? Prior to finding the DB Cooper-thing Blevins was a nobody. Now he's front page news? Competing with Marla and the FBI? On the same level? Its absurd on its face. Who or What makes RobertMBlevins special? Blevins hasn't added one thing to the Marla story except his own personal brand of disruption. Marla came here. Blevins chased her off with rude demands only Blevins is capable of. It added nothing but another unecessary layer to an already convoluted story and denied others here a fair chance with Marla. Who is RMBlevins to ask/demand anything of Marla or anyone else including the FBI, especially since he's stirring his own pot of 'claims and more claims'. Sluggo, a longtime member here tagged Blevins early, quote: "he thinks he's a legend in his own mind!". Marla simply told Blevins: "Bite me". That is the sum and substance of what Blevins has accomplished, in the Marla matter. Blevins drops Geoff Gray's name - without Gray's permission I might add! Blevins is nothing but a nightmare to Geoff Gray, if Gray's statements on the matter count at all! ? And Gray's feelings don't count, so far as Mr. Blevins is concerned! Nobody's feelings matter when it comes to Mr. Blevins. It is just Blevins dropping Gray's name one more time, in an endless scenario of Blevins taking advantage of people. Blevins calls it 'journalism', I guess! AB Books of Seattle? It's outrageous on its face. But it brings Blevins some attention he is seeking, and the reason he joined this circus in the first place. Not because he has anything real to offer, not because he has added anything of real substance on any level, but because "Blevins is a legend in his own mind" and must feed some personal demon ... and the Internet is free, more-or-less. Who in his right mind or with any real business to conduct can take any of this seriously?
  24. Now, say, "Thank you, Bob," and quit asking the same question over and over. Accept it. It IS the truth. And, which hyper troll will win? kNOSS OR bLEVINS?
  25. Everyone here seems to have limitations and a bias, some a very strong bias, it seems. This current emphasis on "data" (Snowmman style) belies the fact nobody has complete data! It was Labrys, who most have forgotten here, who correctly coined and identified the Cooper curse as being "Outlines". And nothing but outlines. The current crop of "outliners" notwithstanding. Labrys is so far this thread's number one hero! Yet to be outdone and possibly never will be outdone no matter who or how many "data estimators" try. Sluggo defined it another way: "the missing link".
