I used to like your stories about crows and being LOST for 30 days. Everything has gone down hill since then ... years ago. Guess you ran out of material. What a pity..
-
Have you got any info (opinion educated) about the Amboy parachute photos? Guess not.
-
I have not made the Seattle FBI any 'offers'. I sent them a report and a package of documents and pictures. I have not inquired about it since that time. I don't speak for Tom Kaye or his team regarding the Amboy chute. I merely quoted their website entry, which you conveniently ignored. (posted again for you below) There you go again Blevins, mind melding with me! How in hell do you know that I conveniently ignored Tom Kaye's website! Are you sitting beside me as I operate this computer !? Its claims like this get you in trouble and impeach you from the day you entered this website. What am I doing now? What am I think now, oh Mr Magic Marvel. You have me convinced Bob Knoss is your brother and Jo Weber your mother! Any family reunion soon?
-
Why the mystery by the FBI on the chute? Why weren't Kaye and his team allowed to see it? Why hasn't the FBI responded to their standing offer? I get a kick out of your speaking for Tom Kaye and the Science Team! Why hasn't the FBI responded to your offer, or your endless criticisms/garbage posted at Drop Zone and News Vine? Blevins: the Adventure Books House Cleaning Car Repair Computer Expert Graphic Arts Cartoon DB Cooper Investigator-Impersonator!

well... whatever the parachute experts think here, having seen the photos, they aren't speaking, are they. Except for 377 who says he can;t tell. It's must be a conspiracy now involving parachute experts here! Maybe there is a reason nobody s speaking ? That would be yet another conspiracy. Conclusion: only Blevins is talking ... even for Tom Kaye! Keep powering this thread. We appreciate the free energy! Pluck your magic twanger, Froggy. More more more!

well you are entitled to your opinion. what good info has Blevins given out on parachutes?
-
Well... because this is the most heavily-quoted comment by Cossey, and appears in dozens of articles regarding the chute...including the Seattle FBI's dismissal of same. Publicly, no other solid reason is given. THAT'S why. I thought you were a Cooper Expert and stuff. As if you haven't seen the articles. Of course you have. You'll do better to stop making this about me and about the issues themselves. That's unsolicited advice. actually you have a point, Blevins. problem is it would have to surgically removed. hobble over and talk to Cossey ... nobody here can anoint you! Why harass us to convince? Go talk to Cossey .... ? Like others avoiding you I will try that too!
-
Mr Stupid/FOS/Troller/ etc asks again: WHY do you believe that Cossey's assessment of the chute being made of silk-not-nylon, using that as his main point on why the chute can't be Cooper's...makes sense. If you have read anything ever written or posted about what Cossey has said then you must be aware his analysis is multi-faceted. Silk is just one point in his facts he states. (I am sure you will disagree with that... thats almost guaranteed!) Why would you put words into Cossey's mouth, ie "using that (silk) as his main point" ? Until you are ready to stop putting words in people's mouths in order to misrepresent what people have said (are saying) there can be no discussion with you about anything .... which is precisely what you want. What you want is a platform that you and only you can stand on .... and fart like a moose at the Moon! Have a nice fart! There maybe is one other option: 'you recently arrived from Mars and speak only 'MO&TR~ranish'. In that case search out an ap so you can comunicate with this world ? Or just see any psychiatrist who may refer you to a 1st through 4th grade English teacher. Im just giving you 5 points credit for not being as stupid as you come off. Good luck with your fellow meese. You might just ask Cossey yourself rather than bugging us to death about it!

Good for you...(*laughs*) His word about what? Chute is silk and not nylon, and that's why it can't be Cooper's? Was wondering how you came to that idea. So you are now claiming your thinking process is better than Earl Cossey's (on any subject). Thats some claim Blevins! Did you consult with Knoss on this? Thanks for the continued stupidity. You can keep the arrogance - Bunny Blevins. Stupidity? Now that's truly funny. We're not talking about Bob Knoss. We're talking about your assessment that Cossey is right on his silk-not-nylon claim. I say he isn't. You call me stupid. Fine. Mr Stupid Asks: How exactly did you come to the idea that the Amboy chute was made of silk? You can't have it both ways. You cannot call my questioning of Cossey's results 'stupid' and then fail to present any evidence that Cossey is correct. Otherwise you are pointing the Stupid Finger in the wrong direction. Welcome to the world of Real Questions, as opposed to your personal issues with me. Are you ignorant or just a flaming games player? I SAID! I trust Cossey's evaluation is correct. The corollary to that is: RobertMBlevins is FOS. Nothing left to question is there... You can continue to question if you like - you always do - trolls always do because it's their life mission to disrupt and be stupid ... If you cant read this English, maybe get Knoss to help you?

And yet...if Cossey wouldn't have done this or that...then WHY does he claim in several sources that the canopy is silk? Silk, like cotton, is biodegradable. Now I know we've discussed this before, but I have accidentally dug up recently buried trash here and there in the Northwest. One, two years old maybe, at heavily used camping sites. When you find anything clothing-related that isn't made of nylon or polyester, it's rotted to total shreds. Some of this could be due to the inherent moisture in the ground in W. Washington, and the heavy rains. If the canopy were really made of silk as Cossey claims, and if were buried unpacked for decades, you would expect much more damage to it. Big, gaping holes...extreme rotting perhaps. I will take Cossey's word over yours - any day of the week! To put it mildly.

Cooper Stuff: I sent a PM to 377 a couple of days ago suggesting that it might be possible to compare known images of different sized paracord to the images of the Amboy chute. Purpose: To determine whether the chute is a cargo chute, or a personal one. I know paracord comes in different thicknesses, mostly metric I think, depending on the intended use. Maybe some side-by-side comparison pictures would work here. I think we can agree that anything 6mm or above on the Amboy chute would disqualify it from Cooper Consideration. (?) Why this continuing doubt about identifying a cargo chute? Can't people here identify a parachute, including 377 who know everything about parachutes but who has remained totally silent since the Amboy chute photos were published? Why this void for editorialists like you to wallow around in?

Robert replies: Airtwardo is RIGHT. Better to try than to not try at all. The idea (I thought) was to solve the case, not 'prove' that one fave suspect should be forced into a mold not necessarily made for him. (Or 'her,' I suppose...in the case of Bobby Dayton

_________________________________________________ Bruce: I enjoyed your articlel. It provides a little more insight for sure. I wished, though, you had not revealed your intentions about being a Vietnam draft dodger. I have very strong feelings about that issue, and this is certainly not the appropriate place to discuss it. Suffice it to say, I have friends in wheel chairs today who wouldn't give it a second thought about going into harms way again for their country. Meyer Meyer: Bruce's draft status discussion was in his own article, not at Dropzone. Good article, by the way. Being forced into a possibly immoral war by a government acting immorally...will sometimes force a MORAL response from people. There is no doubt that Vietnam tore the US apart. Riots, marches, daily doses from Cronkite on the evening news, and between 50,000-100,000 people fleeing from the war up to Canada. There is also the issue of exemptions, which few of poverty or color could obtain - another morality question that often arises about the Vietnam War. There is also a distinctive difference between draft-dodging and desertion. Canada has a history of sending deserters back to the USA. Deserters are not worthy of sympathy because they already took the oath. There will always be two views on the morality of the draft and our participation in Vietnam. I think we should leave it that. NO POLITICS IN THIS THREAD! HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU HAVE TO BE TOLD? COMPLAINT FILED.

Let me know when I can use a gravity shield instead of a parachute. 377 well then, you wouldn't have the thrill (terror) of acceleration and free fall at a terminal v. ... ? Infants have a basic instinct about 'falling'. Its pre-programmed in neurology (cortex~medulla). Skydivers and others learn to control that basic instinct by transference to other deep instincts. Cooper?
-
I sure agree with Meyer about your tenacity. It is quite amazing. 377 Tenacity? Others would call it something else - The longer the explanation: the more suspect! But the internet is a bottomless hole of shadows and dust. Some (we know who they are!) even claim physics is suspended. Yawn.

Maybe you should tell Geoff Gray to have his publisher adjust the book. I've lived here since 1967, but I was born in California. If Gray's bit is wrong, you need to take it up with him and correct him on it. I don't give a fuck where you were born and raised. Stop with your cowardly false personal attacks Blevins. You know Gray and I talked ... you know Gray apologized to me and retractions are in the works - that was already posted, on your account! ... or another abuse complaint will be filed! Take your shit somewhere else - haven't you damaged yourself enough, on this website's dime?

_________________________________________________ I believe I remember seeing him, because he was at the store when I dropped in to buy a snack, but I did not talk to him. I will remember to do so next time. Thanks. MeyerLouie If you are going to follow up on this, try these peeps priceless! I had better stop! Thats 3 posts in a row - limit... back to the salt mine.

__________________________________________________ Blevins, you're doing well, you don't get all riled up so much anymore...the counseling must be working. MeyerLouie Hey! Tell that counselor I was not born and raised in the State of Washington -

It was several historians who brought Walling up ... not the FBI. The original articles made that pretty clear (named the historians). I guess the FBI doesn't respond to demands fir3d at it from ... the Drop Zone and the News Vine

Yellow X is placed where his pen is pointing - just below Heisson, an area Sluggo was interested in ... If you watch it in slow mo, he moved the pen further up. I thought it was possible to be a cargo drop for firefighters possibly during a training exercise? The guy in the espresso/ Ice Creme seems to be pointing in the direction of Ariel. (see photo) The lines do appear to be larger than a personal chute as Robert99 said. Something tells me we are still not done with the Amboy chute. Maybe it belonged to Lindberg ?
-
You'll excuse me if I'd rather get that confimation from the FBI themselves... You will get their reply when hell freezes over! Keep waiting ... This song is about you!
-
Who knows? Maybe it's a cargo chute, after all. Too bad the FBI just didn't say 'It's a cargo chute'. Would have made things much easier for everyone investigating the case, instead of going with Cossey's 'It's silk' story. I have to admit that thing looks pretty large, and the lines thick. I wonder if it would even FIT into an NB-6 container. Funny! "I spoke with Coss shortly after the announcement, and he told me that the parachute found in Amboy was not from Flight 305 as it was too large at 34-feet in diameter, and that it was a cargo chute. Further, he said that the canopy was made with silk and not the nylon which comprised Cooper’s canopy. He also said it was a WWII vintage parachute." http://themountainnewswa.net/2012/05/14/the-hunt-for-db-cooper-looking-for-the-amboy-chute/ The FBI said 'silk' just for you! Everything is about 'you'. This song is about 'you'. I gave out the coords to a silk cargo chute! Care to ask where I got them? Would you care to place bets on the Janet Fable ? Good nite Irene -

Frankly, those shroud lines look as if they have a larger diameter than personnel parachute shroud lines. Robert99 noticed that too - cargo chute? those are thick lines... whats the history of forest fires (1950s- 60s?) in this area?
