See what I mean - to do that you HAVE to change the flight pattern and bail-out time to put Cooper and the Money in the Columbia. The cabin that was there in 1971 and not there in 1979 - if he did put some of the money in a container or more than one container - the excavation of that property and building of homes could have dislodged the container and have put the "found" money in the Columbia. When we left that area we went to an industrial - there was a large kind of tank there and dock on the river for loading use. After the industial area, we went to the hotel W. of the bridge to Portland - he threw a paper sack into the Columbia. I do NOT think the sack is what he was after at the Cabin area or an area just above that (the one I did not get to see). I was told that my view would have been about the same. I wish I could remember more details about the business, but I did not see that Sack until we were on our way to the hotel. He could have put it in the car at either of the 2 stops before the brige stop but it was not there before or I would have noticed it. I do not know what was in that sack - but he was NOT one to litter, so there had to be a REASON to throw it into the Columbia. My thinking is that when he did recoup part of the money he decided "It's Worthless" the very words he used when I read the News Headlines in 1980 out loud. He types his resignation the next day???? I do not know when he mailed the resignation letter. I am not dumb enough to think that I can throw a sack in the Columbia and predict where it will come to shore - conditions change and I have stated this very clearly. I am just hoping that it will be close if it is ever found - but maybe there will conditions causing it to show up much further down the river or never show-up. I take that statement to question my credibility. I am who I say I am, but WHO is Snowmman - he seems to be a Jack of ALL Trades and does not identify himself even in a private email. I also do not know who you are or exactly what your profession is. It does seem that with Sluggo being a pilot - that the two of you - are saying he is not credible either.

You guys keep stretching and stretching the time line - anything you can find that puts Cooper into the water. What I will do is show how the money got there another way thru my experiment that I will conduct. The result will be available by next spring I hope. There are many things that can affect the money - tides, floods, snowmelts, rains and maybe even transit within the river. I can tell you that Duane had 2 opportunities to put something in the Columbia - one I witnessed the bag floating down the river. I am putting my money where my mouth is - the FBI has NOT done this and they could have done it in 1980 or in 1996 when I told them how the money got there. BUT, they choose to sit on their duffs and let this be debated till the end of time. This test would NOT have cost much... and maybe have saved the FBI agents a lot of time and grief later...I am sure Carr was on the payroll for his TV interviews as where other agents over the yrs. I am a simple person and all of this technology is interesting and I can follow it most of the time , I am just going to do the woman thing my way since I haven't received any feed back about my plans to dump some money. Obviously I am the only one interested in how this plays out. By the time I have my results there will be yet another Wanna Be Book on the market by Galen Cook. I expect that this last book will get about as much interest as HA HA HA by D.B. Cooper - actually it is an interesting read. There maybe more to that book than anyone knows - the story abiout the shoe shine man and the dog. Does anyone remember what happend in N.Orleans when Duane I went there in 1981 - there was a story about a search for a shoe shine man who worked in on of the hotels on Bourbon St. - Duane was upset he miss the man. I do not know if he did go back later or not - I do know he went looking for him after he asked about him. Wonder if this shoe shine man went to N.Orleans from Washington. I asked about this before but no one was interested in finding out who the Shoe Shine man was a the Portland Airport in 1971 and what happened to him. WELL, if it is a thread from the chute it goes back to something I suggested yrs ago, but it was scoffed at.

The Fazio house sat on the South side of Lower River Rd. A member of the film crew asked if the house had ever flooded. - The man answered it, but I do not remember what he said -but this discussion helped recall the question being asked. I know what I thought he said, but not really clear in my head (remember I got upset regarding Tena's Bar and walked back up to the cars. The Fazion home sat lower than the elevation of "The River Ladies House" (this is only an observation of having been there and seeing the river from both sites). She mentioned that homes in the area flooded near by, but the family home did not suffer any damages. The cottage/cabin sat East of "The River Lady's" Home - she wasn't sure but thought the flood got it (did not state a yr)...she was away at college. So she didn't know when the cabin disappeared. Understand that I am talking about an area East and West of Winterly Park --- different parts of the river because of the curve and currents and elevations had more flooding than others. The homes that replaced the Cabin where built up higher on the land than the Cabin that was not there in 2001. It was just that - a river cabin and it was really on the river. I have never seen pictures of this cabin and do NOT know if this is the area Duane took me to or not, but it was close because of the location of the airport being across the way and NOT visible because of the trees. She said there was another area similar to this just East of there - but my driver did not take me there as we were pressed for time. This is why I am going alone and rent a car in Vancouver that I might revisit these places and the other places I did not see. Give Me A Break: You guys do NOT seem to understand that there is NO tributary that can put the money in the Columbia except the Washougal. The LZ does not put Cooper in the Water. Where are you getting this fact "40ft from the waterline"...please note the sources? When I was there in May of 2001 - it might have been 50 ft from the fence to the Columbia waters... but you keep forgetting that the Columbia has other influences - snow melts, tides, dams, rains ...this list goes on and on. Feb. of a yr. I expect the river was much lower than it normally is in the spring. What needs to be used is the Medium Water line - so those who have never seen the Columbia will understand what is going on with the deductions you guys are making. The facts do not put the money or Cooper in the water unless you stretch and stretch the FACTS as has been going on - you guys act none of the rest of the discussions ever happened...maybe because there is no one, but little ole me to question this...and I don't count because - I am not smart enough and my belief is biased. I will note that NOT one of you in this forum has even addressed the experiment that I intend to do and it is just ignored. I asked for feed back and got none. I am surprised that NO ONE has done this before with a package the size Cooper was carrying - just to see where it would go. It is easy today with the technology that exists. Just put one of those fancy gadgets the FBI has in the package and track it. At least I am willing to put MY MONEY where my MOUTH is and I haven't seen anyone else do that except Tosaw. I don't have the kind of money Tosaw has and I will do the best I can. I expect the FBI loves the way this is going - then they can bury Cooper. I assure you that is NOT going to Happen......FACTS do not change. Interpretations of the FACTS do help, but it still comes down to probablilities of what Happened in conjunction with the FACTS. Cooper nor the money got into the Columbia except by transportation - natural or human. The natural element is basically impossible. WHERE WAS DUANE from the time he was released from McNeil until he was incarcerated and sent to Folsum and SanQuentin in CA.? 2. How can someone be incarcerated at Canon City Prison in CO in 1962 and be seen in Miami by a family member at the same time. Remember that it was about this time that the John Collins ID appeared with a MS orientation. Covert groups trained in Ms during that time in the 60's and has the FBI ever really found out what Duane's work detail was in Canon City and in the Army? This is information that the authorities would NOT release to me. Also the FBI needs to check out Camp Siebert and another facility near there - 1940's. "They" live there and we jumped over "there". I am going to take a paper bag of the same quality Duane had in the car - I am also going to put cut paper (does anyone know of a paper that is close in texture and weight as money)????? Thinking the bag could easily have held 3 to 5 bundles - I will do 4 for the test. In the bundles I am going to put a few 1 dollar bills with my name and a reward posted for their return and the site they find it at. These bills will have the information written on them with a marker - the kind you use to mark clothing at a nursing home.

Gotcha, Thank You - I guess Caterpillar Island was to my left, but I sure didn't see it so it must have just looked like a protusion of land - That last map even showed the old Fazion house or some other structure there now up near the road. I have a really hard time with maps that are not PAPER so I can sit down with them and compare and mark-up. Never have been able to jump off into the Computer world for somethings - such as paying bills and accessing accounts and maps - give me good old paper and pen. A word for Jim - better read all the treads and the history and FBI files before you jump off into the wild Blue Yonder - inside the plane? - DUH!!!! Snowmman this is the post you attached a photo called Tina's Bar and it is a picture of Caterpillar Island with a Blue marker above it. This was when I gave you a hard time about Tina's bar and the Island - no one corrected me and like I said I thought I had bought the farm. Because that was not how I remembered it. This is when a phone call is so much easier - I still do not see the trenches you are talking about. There is an inlet above the beach which went NO where - just someplace rutted out by someone to protect their boat - a landing of sorts. Snowman and Georger - lets really decide where the heck Caterpillar Island is . Snow - you posted a map that showed Tena's bar infront of Caterpillar Island. I came back with a post telling - "you are wrong", but then that means your map is wrong. Now you say just as I have said - if the mark you had for Tena's bar up around Sillappoo Lake was correct why could we see the Columbia in the pictures - and since I was there in 2001 - I was positive I was seeing across the Columbia and not looking at an island. I had always believe that Caterpillar Island was way above Lake Vancouver and that Tena's Bar was just at the Nothern end of lake Vancouver. Someone find a REAL GOOD MAP and verify the Tena's Bar Location. My memory says it is just after that little protusion on the east end and I couldn't even see the island (when I was there) which had to be N.W. of Tena's bar. I just know the maps I was provided show Caterpillar Island above Tena's bar. I cannot find the map right now. Remember that Tena's Bar is only slightly above Vancouver Lake. 1976 - I did not know Duane - I was told about the DUI. 1980 - arrest - YES I was with him and had asked him to let me drive. We were coming back from an evening of drinking and dining (note - I did and do little drinking) He was released the next morning and hired an attorney to get something done with the charge - I paid no attention - but that it got cleared up with no suspension of his drivers license and it cost something like $500 - in total. Snowmman has two questions: 1) There were two trenches dug at Tena Bar. Why? 2) There were reports, including a Himmelsbach quote of additional fragments recovered during the dig. If so, how deep were they? Snowmman have you ever tried to dig a trench to a river - it fills with water. In order to dig for the money they had to dig a parallel trench to keep the water out of their dig site. The shore line was only about 25 feet in 1980 but it was much larger in 2001 when I went out there. This explains part of what you are asking...tides, snow melts, rains - . The fragments - someone else will have to answer that or maybe I can use another phone call to ask the man you doubt I have spoke with 100's of times. Perhaps I already have the answers and want to see just how GOOD you are? When did Caterpillar Island come into existence???????? What created Caterpillar Island?????? ATTENTION: Ckret and the company currently examining the bills for evidence, I have a specific questions - is there any residue that constitutes the money having been a bucket of any kind of material existing in 1971???? Plastic, any plastic materials of derivatives thereof or metal or anything a bucket might have been constructed of in 1971 or prior to that date???? This is what a woman wrote in 1971 or 1972. My experience with the VA is exactly why I have said almost the same thing before. The VA was one of the places I first went for information on Duane. All they gave me is what I already had - name, birth, serial number and order of discharge and discharge date - but the army had NO discharge date. Navy was Bad Conduct. What transpired in the VA office was ODD. After the man pulled up Duane's name and number - he said he couldn't give me any information because I was not listed as a beneficiary - I told him that I was only 3 yrs old at the time and I did not marry Duane until 1978. He did something else on the computer and then asked me to excuse him he was going to have to get a code from his Superior. While he was gone I looked at his screen - ACCESS DENIED. After he comes back he goes into his computer again and then says I will have to fill out some papers to get my husbands records - the papers I filled out only provided me the very information I already had. I am adamant about needing his records and relay what he told me when he died. The man leaves the office again. I had inquired about his service records and work details and training. This was again Access Denied - and other words that should not be there - I will have to go to my notes to remember exactly what they were - this was so long ago that my memory is fuzzy on it...I am pretty sure of what it said, but I would hate to state it and then find out that wasn't it. I also enquired about John C. Collins and with the discharge paper I had for John C. Collins. He told me it looked like a forgery and I had been told this before - it was just a small card with VA papers reduce to card size. So - I got no where. There is another thing I did regarding his military background - with phone calls. One story I was told by a Lt. Colonel was what started the conspiracy theory in the first place - and that there are things that happened and answers I will never get. I won't go into this incident and 2 other incidents involving the same person - but, I backed away from this after the 3rd attempt. Yrs. later this man's name came up in the media??????? I cannot say in regards to what as I am not sure they are the same person - but the same name. When I read the name I was startled and went back to my old file and sure enough it was the same.
