Understand that I am working with a 1979 photo copied topographic map that covers a very large area. There is little detail and I believe the answer to your question is that it is the track that runs thru Brush Prairie. The track in the northern region is labeled Portland and Northern and after it goes thru Helision (there a big crease so I can't read the name of that town - just do the best you can). After this Hel---- it is then referred to as Longview. It passes near Battle Ground Lake and then on to East Battleground. Tukes Mtn is near there (was there a beacon on that Mtn for planes). You may know the answer to this - it IS NOT THE TOWER that Duane referred - that tower was further South. Was just curious. Yes, the track goes thru Brush Prairie. The reason I asked about that Tukes Mtn and mentioned Battleground Lake is because of a comment he made after we left the tower area and the place he talked about the track (which by the way is now farm land and homes) and in the Brush Prairie area. After we pulled back onto the Hwy or Road we were going N. and we would later turn Left (there may have been other turns before getting on the road going N. toward Battleground). He mentioned the Tukes Mtn and Battleground Lake being on up that road...therefore I have always wanted to think that maybe he came down the track ...but, the things he told me ended with the track and tower. Some point in all of this he mentioned pump cars and how much fun they were - he was child like in discussing this, but the FBI has no record of his having been in that area except for the time he was in McNeil. In this same brief conversation he mentioned that the track crosses the Pipelines and power line that he had shown me earlier in the day. Per the map I am looking at, that pipeline in Brush Prairie goes right on down to the other area he had taken me to earlier. In THAT other area that he pointed out Pipe lines and Power lines (which I could not see). He made the statement that yrs ago before all of the undergrowth that you could walk for miles. (my speculation is - This is the area that he was trying to reach to get away from any possible search area...and an area he knew or had made arrangements for.) Now I am not going to tell you where he goes from tha pipeline to get to the other points he had taken me to earlier - but, if you live in the area and it is not too hot and you are strong enough to help an old lady tramp thru some areas - call me. I will come even if I have to be carried. I am not due to go to Wa until Oct. because I have to stay out of the sun and in temps not over 72 degrees - hence why I am do not leave my house except to go to Dr. or Grocery or Mall. In the FL. high heat and humidity - I venture out only after 7 PM in these summer months and can only take about an hour of that - this is when I do my gardening. Albert, I have not trusted you in the past because I do not know who you are - but, I trust that if you are in that area and are able to find anything that you will be honest and forthcoming...about my leading you to it. I do not expect that he left anything that he had not already retrieved...he never said if he removed the items he buried at the tower shed, but because of the way he said it I would assume that he did - He said "One time I buried something behind a shed that used to be here". This was in the location where the tower was - which is now farmland. I have held back from ever giving a lot of information in detail like this because I wanted to go myself, but I may never be physically able to do it. I hope and pray that if someone goes out there and finds something that they will do the RIGHT THING...but before you do the right thing - CALL me. I caught wind of a rumor - OK, Ckret, is there any truth to this? The FBI or others are actually searching the area I have proposed for yrs to be the DZ as you guys call it. In the area where the pipeline and the railroad tracks intersect. This is between Scotton corner and Brush Prairie. Is there any truth to this or is it rumor? This is the area of the track, tower and shed. I do not know where he landed but it had to be N.W. of the track and he was able to see the tower light...he was on his way S.E. Odd that the track and pipeline intersect right there - but I have told this for yrs to anyone who would listen. It is in the old thread. It is another forum I participated in yrs ago and also in information I sent to the FBI. For your information and not related to his landing zone: Powerlines and pipelines cross at another point N. of there up around 502...but, he was not that far N.W. The Dollars Corner Tavern in the place Duane claimed to know someone who ran the place or owned the place, but that we were not going there. I later went there in May of 2001, but with limited resources to track down a man I knew nothing about.. A man in the tavern told me about a hermit type veteran who may have known Duane. He had pulled me aside away from the people I had gone there with to tell me that this man would have known Duane. We were unable to locate him and he didn't have a phone - we finally decided it was a wildgoose chase. CKRET, I divulged these things to the FBI and to the media and to the crew I went to WA with in 2001, but no one wanted to check them out. The crew took me ever which way but right. The FBI was so set that he had landed way North of the area - that no one paid me any mind...just to ignore that poor pathetic crazy woman. For Heaven's Sake - hold you Piece. I am only quoting a book by Himmelsbach and notes in it that I made from converstations over the yrs. As for FAA ? - I don't have a clue - that is what the book says. CIA used the 727 in Vietman - that has been stated from get go by Himmelsbach and it is in his book. Maybe it was not made public knowledge so as not to spur such conversations as we have had here...but this was stated by Minnesota. From the horses mouth: A Oregon Army National Guard helicopter took off from Portland with 2 FBI agents to intercept the plane as it approached Portland. The helicopter was a Huey and the pilots names are Goyins and Gottlieb. THINK: This Huey left Portland after the 727 took off (exact time should be in the FBI records) to intercept the plan - with a top speed of 120 knotts - they were hoping to see Cooper coming down and then be on top of him in minutes. It did not work - the Huey never got a glimps of the plane. When they turned back to Portland the 727 was 60 miles from them. Ok, now where are the record and time data sheets from that helicopter. What time did it get into the air and what were the co-ordinates when it turned back to Portland. Alos what was its destination when it left Portland? Himmelsbach was in the air the next day - searching the area. ++++++++++++++++ Attention: In the FBI reports from the night of the jump - it is stated they found out that 300 lb boxes could be dropped from the aft stairs.

But these three seem to be official - but what is the SE. I have not seen that on a composite of Cooper. WHERE is SAFECRACK - he is the composite guru? The descriptions were basically given from seeing Cooper in a sitting position - no profile was done or everyone would see why the artist drew them the way he did. If you will note the shading at the sides of the forehead you will see that the artist was trying to depict the slant of the forehead. Also in the one that I have they show a line down the side of the face which is showing the cheek bones status. The ones you have show the characterists better than the the ones the FBI has persisted in using. What I like is that mouth - need I say more. Be assured that IF that had ever happened the FBI would have been on to his confession like flys to honey. The dream was in 1977, the trip to WA was in 1979 and a confession in 1995. Plus all of the times he mentioned things indirectly regarding remorse about things and the hardship it had created for others --- this ocurred thru out the marraige. Due to the time span and the information being fed to me over a 17 yr period of time...I would say no to your theory. The yrs involved during the marriage discount the above hypothesis. It is my belief that in 1990 when he went to Tallahassee and disappeared for a day (he was with his friend - they set up at a flea market having acquired a truck load of stuffed animals and novelty store items) he went to retrieve something else that required an John C. Collins ID. This is the same friend who told me about walking in the shop a few days later (after their Tallahassee trip) - Duane was counting all of that money - he therefore did not think I had any money problems due to the amount of cash he saw. The friend and I did not discuss his disappearing act or the money until I went to see him in 1996 regarding what Duane had told me in the hospital. This was after I spoke with the FBI the first time - I was trying to find out if he had ever known Duane to tell tales or do anything he thought was ODD. I was upset and needed to talk to him. This is when he mentioned the Tallahasee trip and Duane"s disappearance. This also explained an airline ticket charged to my account. Duane kept saying that it was an error and he nor I had flown anywhere. The credit card company kept putting it back on the bill and later on that yr. Duane paid it - I questioned why pay something we didn't owe. My memory of the time span coincides with the Tallahassee trip. This mean he flew someplace from Tallahasse on a thursday night and return late Friday or early Sat. He was there to help his friend with the market on Sat and Sun. The trip to Tallahassee, the airline ticket and the money all occured in the samy time perioud. This is also the same time frame the ticket stub, the ticket and the bank bag came into existence. ALL - after he had acquired a new drivers license under the name of John C. Collins. I still do not know how he did this when the other county caught him and he spent 72 hrs being evalutated...no charges where made because of his doctor and myself - we related the problem to his having just gone on dialysis...twice a wk. He was able to take 4 day wk ends at the beginning of his treatment. I will also NOTE that the shop got robbed a few weeks later - he went to the back of the shop behind a door looking frantically for something - and it was gone. He just said "it's gone now". He never told me what it was or why he had it hid in the shop under junk behind a door. This drivers license was in the hidden wallet along with other things including the obit on his parents and the commutation of sentence. There was various other ID under the Collins name - obviously forged. This is the wallet I did not find when I cleaned out the VAN after he told me to be sure to check it and I just replied to him "I know you keep things in the VAN." I didn't listen to what-ever he was saying because he told me this on the same day he made the decision to remove himself from treatment and the day the told me he was Dan Coooper. Please explain "both of Weber's signatures" I only see one signature and the other signature is a different name and it states impression taker. WHERE are you all seeing Duane L. Weber twice???????????????????? You know Duane was left handed, but at this time I refuse to tell anyone if that is his signature or not - The numbers are perplexing to me. I will later - much later post several signatures by Duane, but I have to dig them out and I am not up to that this week. Go back and look at it again. The x indicates where to sign the signature on the opposite side - Impression taken by. That is what I see, but I can't see it all at once - been unable to reduce it to copy and paste on a page. I will note something I have a question about. The number on the print file - is that supposed to be his prison file number? Curious as I have several numbers and those number do not match up with anything I have. I also the numbers are marked out and new numbers with a different type are put to the right. For the benefit of AGGIE please let her know that the FBI does not have any prints they know were Coopers - they can only hope he left prints behind. You know yrs ago the FBI could have provided me with some of the information you have made available in a public forum. I question the methods of the FBI. What others are not aware of is that most of our communications take place right here in this forum. We talked 4 times on the phone and one of thoses was your quick phone call to let me know you were going public and wanted me to know just before release that Duane's DNA was not a match to DNA extracted from the tie. The date of that Call was when you went public yet you also stated in a public medium that I was told this in Feburary of 2007 - THAT is NOT TRUE and I never RECIEVED an APOLOGY nor did was it ever publicly acknowledge I had not been told. You made it appear to the media and to the general population that I was continueing with my story in the face of information the FBI felt proved Duane was not Cooper. Another erroneous error. Now all I have to do is match those prints with another set of prints... I have never meant to give you a hard time - and I still believe Duane was Cooper. I do appreciate the information. but it changes nothing! I do not belive that Duane spent a 17 yr marriage making up little stories that I might not ever remember to make a grand exit when he knew he was going to die - by tellimg me he was Cooper. Nothing takes away the things I saw and held in my hands - why fake those things and hide them. Tell me they didn't mean anything and then retrive them to hide them again or destroy them. Of course, I am aware of what most in this forum think. No, I am not Crazy nor am I dillusional. Nor have I made up any parts of the story - there are times I speculate as everyone else does - because I keep trying to figure out the how and whys. Until there is concrete evidence to the contrary - I maintain that Duane L. Weber was Dan Cooper and if he wasn't he sure as hell knew who was. If you truely want to know who Cooper was you will continue to dig into who Duane L. Weber was and who he knew. I have made that statement since day one. Three more photos: I have two photos taken at the same time without Glasses. But he is very GIDDY and CLOWNING around. These are the only kind of photos he alllowed with his glasses off. In the first one he has been out all afternoon by himself in Seattle. By the way - the shirt is really pink. He loved silky shirts. The second one with that stupid pipe. The third will be the only photo besides what the news media has of the two of us together - I hate the photo, but it is essential to show the difference in the complexion. I am OLIVE and I tan easily, but his "olive" is golden - the latin look Tina and Florence described. I have tried many times to explain to the site the complexion thing and this does it the best Olive was a catch all in the 60's. You can make a statement like that and yet you claimed that the FBI used 1944 prints to make a Master File for Duane L. Weber. I do understand that you are NOT talking about Duane above, but as retired FBI has told me (not Himmelsbach) they would not and could not use the 1944 prints due to the inks and the quality of the prints from 1944) - unless no other prints were available. The agent did not know why I was asking this question or who I was. This was 5 yrs ago. Below is a post from another member: When I go to WA in Oct I will show you how he got from a to b to c to d to c. I do not know exactly where he hit the ground - I can only take someone to the items he pointed out in the area he talked about (you will have to invisions trees and tower and shed) the track is still there according to the maps. He landed W and N of that area - I need to find out what is W and N. of that area, but I do not feel like digging through those old maps which are nothing more than copies of pages pasted together. It is an old map showing the power lines and pipe lines - all of this goes right back to the area I he took me to. This map contains no details regarding roads. He knew where that "VOR" was and he pointed it out to me but I didn't see it (we had already passed it) - he explained something about it at that time, but I wasn't paying any attention. He did not call it the name you guys use. He just needed to go in the direction of Mexico to get to areas he knew very well - no map needed. He knew things about the plane from exposure but a little about navigation...I do not believe he ever intended to jump just out of Seattle unless it would be down around McNeil, but that would have been too close to McChord. He knew were the pipelines and power lines ran and that is what he was looking for. Considering the weather conditions he may just have timed it until he felt the turn. At one point the power lines and pipelines cross each other near the VOR. Maybe he had transportation not too far away, but was afraid to go back after it. I have asked the FBI before about any reports of a vehicle which may have been parked on what I thought was the old 500, but I understand that all of that changed and wasn't where I was looking back in 2000. I was also at the mercy of others for transportation I didn't know the area well enough to drive there. If he had someone waiting for him there - he missed his target. If he had someone waiting for him he would have left instructions such as this "If I do not get back to you by (a certain time) go to xxxxx and I will contact you." There was a car left near the airport over in the industrial area. It was later stated that this vehicle was a rental belonging to a businessman who left it there. No one ever named that man. Ckret Where the place card was found - is thare an old cemetary near there? At that point on our way to Seattle he pointed over toward that way and mentioned an old cemetary there. He never explained his association with that cemetary. He also pointed to the West at that time and said he used to know a woman who had a store there. Maybe he kept the place card to plant in an area away from his landing point. If his transportation was in Seattle he had to go that way anyway...because of the parking ticket with SeaTac on it. Maybe his companion went to get the car. The FBI would not be looking for this person. He was not being evasive - the everyday person would assume the direction of Mexico would take him over his DZ. Somehow I must have miss this post...but with the maps I have in my possession - the old maps I had that were nothing but black and white copies someone sent me yrs ago. By using my old maps and realizing where this BTG VOR per more recent maps - This is the area that Duane took me too - the tracks and towers are in this same area. I got goose bumps so bad right now. I had a rush of other thinks he said - it was like going back to that time. PLEASE CKRET - you have to find out more about DUANE WEBER - because if he is not COOPER then he sure as hell knew who was. Now, I am crying - no one can understand what I have been trying to tell the FBI and it is all here - there is no Dang way he could take me to that area - there was no way he could know about where Cooper landed, no way unless - he was there. Ckret this is what you said to Sluggo: "Reconcile the chutes and money with the route as like actions." What do you expect him to do - analyse the data or force the data to meet your expectations? You can't have it both ways. This would be forcing an issue not finding the most precise jump zone that science can provide. If it doesn't put Cooper in the water you are NOT going to accept it. Now put yourself in my shoes - YOU are doing exactly what I have been accused of doing - refusing to accept what others say and insisting the data fit your expectations and with your restrictions. Where the money was found is not relevant. To force Sluggo to use the hypothis that the money fell, drifted or washed into the Columbia is using an unknown factor. What is relevant is where the plane was and wind and altitude and the chute functions -plus all those other things I do not understand. If I am misunderstanding what you were saying - I apologize, but it does seem that you want, need and expect Sluggo to force a DZ that fits your theory. Are you willing to accept this if the DZ doesn't put Cooper in the Columbia? This is what I have put up with for over 12 yrs in regards to my claims and how the FBI has responded...I am as anxious to see his results as you are so let's all be patient and wait for Sluggo to finish his project.
