The only "they" that says he is not electable is his abysmal single digit polling results. He is by far and away one of the most dishonest politicians I can think of. He can deny all he wants that he had nothing to do with various newsletters that were published by him in the 90's that were racist, sexist, anti-semitic, and homophobic, but really...it wasn't one or two references it was over and over again for many years. The man is a fraud. "What they reveal are decades worth of obsession with conspiracies, sympathy for the right-wing militia movement, and deeply held bigotry against blacks, Jews, and gays. In short, they suggest that Ron Paul is not the plain-speaking antiwar activist his supporters believe they are backing—but rather a member in good standing of some of the oldest and ugliest traditions in American politics," James Kirchik of The New Republic writes.

What does CPI fly in the winter? 182? -
I didn't understand the "coyote urine" comment until I googled it and discovered it is sold all over the place as an animal repellent. A gallon is $148 from Yardiac...or for the low low price of $39.95 you can get a quart! Wow....that stuff is expensive!

Chubbing? Thank god for Urban Dictionary: 1. chubbing it when a man slightly arouses his member to either look bigger in public or to keep from urinating. (warning: method may be painful)

...there is no truth to the rumors that some of the "stuff" Lurch is referring to was related in anyway to his 2 trips to the hospital in a 12 hour period over the summer....these were unfortunate and unrelated events. -
A book to end all the debates about the physics of wingsuit flight
skyjumpsteve replied to The111's topic in Wing Suit Flying
How much is the book? When I click the link to buy it I get a message that says "product not available". Is it not yet released? Is there a chapter or discussion in the book about wingsuiting? Very cool by the way! -
A very common occurence is getting tendinitis in the knee after ACL surgery. Mine was fine for 3 or 4 years until the pain came back...multiple rounds of PT have not cured it and there is nothing really the doc can do because the ACL itself is structurally sound. The Red Sox team doctor did the surgery so I know I got good care!

Nice explanation Jarno for a question that is asked a lot. How about adding that to the WS forum FAQ?

Wall Street Journal Article - Kids and Windtunnels
skyjumpsteve replied to skyjumpsteve's topic in The Bonfire
There is a great article in the Journal today on the front page of the "Weekend Journal" section called "Skydiving's Great Leap Forward". The headline is "the original 'extreme' sport is reaching out to kids to help restore its falling popularity". It lists 5 tunnels (Perris, Union City, Raeford, Ogden, and Nashua) in a box with the title "Into the Air, Junior Birdmen". Very cool. The front page of the Journal itself has a pic and box in the header (i.e. Right above "The Wall Street Journal") that says "Skydiving puts its hopes in kids". http://online.wsj.com/article/SB119577059712701370.html?mod=todays_us_nonsub_weekendjournal -
