the beer fridge was covered in the "etc". Please be aware that it is not going to be a beer and "whine" fridge.....just beer!

Well, it looks like Pepperell is going to have our very own Birdhouse this summer. We are going to convert the stand-alone team room in front of Skippy's to a Wingsuit room. Yes indeed we did steal the idea from our fine feathered friends at Z-Hills.... We certainly won't have "40 suits hanging on the wall" but I think we will have 10 or so. Don't have all the details yet but we will have a TV, DVD player, suit racks, couches, A/C, etc..... Our goal is to convert a bunch of flat flyers this summer and really grow our flock significantly.

In a couple weeks I'm going to Z-Hills and will try to get some learning over there

They may not be but they certainly talk about alcohol far too much. It totally degrades the shows to constantly hear about drinking, getting drunk, passing out, etc..... If they cut that shit out I think the show would seem far more professional. It's almost like they think we won't listen if they don't have a beer or alcohol reference every 5 minutes. Listening to them one might think they are high school seniors or college freshmen exposed to alcohol the first time.....

So...what are the dates for 3.5?

All of the pics are outstanding but the ones that I REALLY love are "a sunset flock builds", "stacked at sunset" and the 2 of the Chevron going thtrough the thin cloud layer. Beautiful....they just rally capture the essence of what wingsuiting is all about for me. After 3 perfectly shitty days back at work I now finally have a smile on my face.

Be there tomorrow...too late to jump but will be there for first load on Thursday. What's the weather outlook for the next 5 days?
-
I thought one CASA was already there? Or did it already go bye-bye? I don't spend much time in other forumns but I thought I read in the RW forum that one CASA was at Z-Hills for the 200 way.... Lurch, given that you haven't flown much this winter you should consider anything above 5,000 high altitude!

It "felt" suspicious? I would hope so!!! I don't think anyone on DZ.com should need to see a posting in the forumns to raise red flags. -
Yep, I absolutely agree with mccordia. On my 10'th flight I had a violent spinning malfunction at opening that required a cut-away. It was definitely a little scary dealing with emergency procedures with a wing-suit on but my cut-away and reserve opening were fine. This could have scared away someone with fewer jumps (I have 2,000+) but it just made me really really concentrate on better body position at opening time. It helped that I had already had a couple reserve rides in the past....something newer jumpers probably have not dealt with. I also opted to get a more docile canopy. Steve

Congrats Mike! Welcome to the flock. Hope to fly with you some time in the future. BTW, I think mccordia is crazy, you don't look like Superman at all....you look like Spiderman!

Family Guy by a mile. Extremely funny. Every episode!

Mike, did you fly a Prodigy yet? If not are you getting close to 200?
-
I am going to go....Justin (PhoenixRising) may go as well.
-
Of course I am coming! The flight, rental car, and hotel were booked months ago! Very excited about it.

Oh well....we are getting screwed by weather in New England as well. Flights are all FUBAR'd....no Z-Hills or Sebastian for me this weekend. Nik and Justin, have a blast! I guess I will use my AirTran credit to get to Phoenix for the Wingsuit big way camp in May. It will be sunny and 50 here tomorrow so maybe I can get some in at Jumptown.
-
Well F'ing A guys....didga not pay the weather bill? Hopefully we will get some in. See you soon. We will bring some cash to pay the weather gods.
-
Justin and Nik just convinced me to come down to FL with them this weekend. I understand Jeff and a few others might be at Sebastian for their boogie. Who is going to be at the Hills and who is headed to Sebastian? What is the weather looking like on each coast? Thanks, Steve

Go see "Ka". I just got back from Vegas and saw Ka (MGMGrand), Zumanity (New York New York), and Le Reve (the Wynn). All were very good but Ka was absolutely phenomenal. Zumanity was a little too laid back without enough "wow" to make it worth the money. I had front row seats and was expecting an A+ show but thought it was more like a B. Ka on the the other hand was the best show I have ever seen. Absolutely incredible....I want to go back just to see it again. Also did a jump at Mesquitte.....it takes about an hour from Vegas.

As long as they don't bring back Kim I will be happy.....God she grated on me! Agreed, better than last year.
