there are several problems with your post: 1. my religious beliefs have nothing to do with the posts i've made thus far in this thread 2. your changing the topic by bringing them up. 3. "it's no more than a clump of cells" vs. laws that affect decisions about me and my body... those "clumps of cells" have their own genetic code and, if given the chance to grow, at the designated time, "it" will have a completely seperate and different blood supply from you. That "clump of cells are IN your body, but they are not YOUR body. the fact that it isn't a big issue for many or for you (whether or not the unborn is actually a real human being) demonstrating an extreme calousness. it's amazing that people can actually say, both here in this thread and in so many other places, "i don't know if the unborn is human or not, but I'd still have an abortion if I were pregnant, or "I still support abortion." It's like saying, "i don't know if there's a hunter in those bushes or a deer, but I'm going to shoot anyway," hoping it's just a deer. What if, after all is said and done, it was a hunter? What if the hunter was your son or daughter? Just for a minute, think about the consequences of that... if the unborn is a human being, then abortion stops being a "procedure." And here is example #2... If no one knows when human life (i.e. a baby) actually begins, it's awfully balsy to allow for abortion to occur under any circumstance. It behooves those who wish to procur an abortion or who wish to sustain abortion rights to ensure they are NOT terminating the life of a human life. Well, it really is great jump ship physically, but the economy of it isn't all that great given what it costs to operate an hour and given today's fuel costs. When I was talking to Goby at PenTurbo about this plane, oh maybe 3-4 years ago, he was saying it was about 1400/hr to operate. In today's dollars, if you get it to do two loads an hour, which is what Goby thought it could do, you'll have to fill it w/ more than a few tandems to make sure you're not losing money. my father bought a brand new Yugo back when they came out in... what was it...
