I haven't posted here in FOREVER, but I was talking to someone about the syrup of ipecac routine, which made me miss Walt, so I came here to see if there was any latest news of him. Holy cow, is there ever! Congratulations, you two. You were both very dear to me back when I was around. And of course, I'll never forget when Walt put his damn foot through my non-CRW canopy during my one and only CRW jump down at Spaceland. Please tell that old turd I said hi. And my very best wishes to you both.

Please... so tired of your double standard, Bill. Ignoring the PA's of those who have views similar to yours, yet clamping down w/ your familiar sadism against those you don't like. It's so stale. DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD If your readin comprehension was better you MIGHT have been able to tell I was talking about the scumbag from Florida... But go ahead.. PA away... when the WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH goes over your head and you feel the need to lash out at those you THINK are out to get ya your disingenuousness is showing, yet again... i'm only responding in kind, behemoth one. And save the hangar size grannies... i fear postage would cripple you. Is it???? Only in your hate filled mind.. sad really. Wow... to hear those words frothing from the mouth of Old Scratch's daughter herself, she who foments nothing but discontent, division and discord... Thanks for the laugh Jeanne! I needed that. Have a good night I miss Lee. And JP. And Chris. And...

Wow, she's threatened by being called "vile" and "not a lady?" She's got her panties all in a wad about getting this being told to her in, what? An EMAIL? This is being called a tirade and a War on Women? Oh good lord. Is she still in junior high? Doesn't she know she's in politics now? What a load of horse sh*t. But then again, consider the source... Obama to troops: Don't worry, I'll still get paid.

Instead of changing the topic, why don't you tell us if the TITLE of this thread is true or not true. I miss Lee. And JP. And Chris. And... -
I just can't believe the sheer immaturity by some of the posters here over something as simple as a dress code. Get over yourselves, be adults and accept that not all social conformity strips you or your radical individualism that makes you such a badass. The "don't tell me what I can where" mantra sounds more like an oppositional 6 year old than it does an adult that can function in society. If you really do not have clothes that fit the dress code of whatever venue that requires your presence, well you can make that known to those who dictate the dress code or, as most people do, adapt your wardrobe to fit the variety of different circumstances you may find yourself in, within reason (i mean really, how many own a tux? not me). As has been stated before in this thread, you can easily do so for very little money. If you don't want to do so simply b/c you have a FTW, non-comformist attitude, don't be surprised when those with far more muscle and power than you decide to f*ck you in return. You'd enjoy that, wouldn't you? Probably not, but you'd deserve it. The sad thing is that those with that attitude usually will blame those with the societal dictums rather than themselves for the f*cking they received. I miss Lee. And JP. And Chris. And...

so the obvious question about the prospective government shutdown
micro replied to SivaGanesha's topic in Speakers Corner
Nope... just trying to balance out the daily bludgeoning the rest of us recieve from the innane postings from the USUAL SUSPECTS, who want to pretend their "thought" is something original, but extends right back to the regurgisphere and its endless email chains passing from one idiot to another about the lastest instance of Obama passing gas. sorry hon, not buying it. even if it were true, you're better than that. Jeanne, you sound like such a school yard bully. I can't help but draw a parallel between your physical stature to way you throw this on-line behemoth persona around in an attempt to fustigate others. When I lived in the Azores, there was this kid named Lance. He was a lot taller and larger than everyone else in our class. And he was a lot slower too. It really bothered him. People teased him mercilessly but he knew he could get his way by beating the shit out of everyone else. Your posts remind me of Lance in that you seem like you are attempting the same thing. You don't sound intelligent here. You don't make any points, you just try to beat everyone w/ a club. But what does it serve, really? Is your life so vapid that this is all you have to offer? I know Jeanne, from when I used to post here all the time, that you are smarter than this. You're better than this. I've experienced it before. that's why it's so maddening, so sad, to read the innanity, the drivel, the sheer stupidity that you pound out here. That little confession may make you a little happy, that piece of you that has been engaging in schadenfreude, but really... isn't it time to move on? I miss Lee. And JP. And Chris. And... -
Bummer; I have an Amazon Prime account too. I'll just stick to wearing jeans and t-shirts to (insert destination) and offend the thin-skinned. And in some social/cultural/legal situations, even involving people who do not have thin skin, don't be surprised if this FTW attitude comes back to bite you in the arse. I miss Lee. And JP. OHH WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Need some cheese with that DUUUUUD??? Do you ever have anything of substance to say? Ever? All the time... its just not what you want to hear.. since you are too busy listening to FAUX NEWS and all that NEVER IS HEARD A DISCOURAGING WORD....which drowns out anything resembling common sence. I swear to god... if they say it on their "fair and balanced" network... idiots far and wide... take it as GOSPEL.. oh thats right.. most of them THINK.... its GOSPEL inspired Ok, so the answer to my question would be a resounding no, because you have no earthly clue what news sources I watch. A fairly recent post to Wendy, someone whose sense and kindness I can only aspire to, answered that question. Feel free to use the search feature to get your answer. Naw, you're too busy spewing the same crap you've done here for years. Years Jeanne. Isn't life too short to keep doing this? Your posts are so full of idiotic assumptions, conjecture, vitriolic stupidity and an infantile desire to insult people who do not agree with you (usually with attacks of a leud, obscene tone or having religously intolerant underpinnings), that one must begin to wonder if there is an organic neurological condition at work here - traumatic brain injury patients often exibit such symptoms. Meh, maybe it's just demonic that's more fun to believe. Regardless of the etiology, have fun in your mire while I move on with more important things. I miss Lee. And JP. And Chris. And... -

we got married in leather, leaping from a plane....guess we belong to the 10% group. thats ok, normal is boring, broke, and going nowhere. people today are so "in the box" that society has created its crazy. personally, i became much more successful wearing a t-shirt and not some monkey suit with a slip knot around my neck. and i would hope that if i ever got dragged in a courtroom that i would be judge by people that cared about the facts, not what they are wearing. I completely agree with you. When I look at people like Richard Branson and other successful people who think in unconventional ways, it's refreshing. As unfortunate as it is, however, the majority of people in modern society do not think/feel/react this way and if you showed up to court, charged with a crime, with a disheveled appearance, dirty and in tattered clothing, with mannerisms to match, people in the jury box will form an impression of you - as predjudicial as that may be. The facts of the case may be entirely opposite of your appearance even. It's sad, but it's true. So really... you'd roll the dice against yourself? Hard to believe, but go ahead and gamble. Not much of a betting man myself. I'd rather do things that help my chances for success. good points. for some reason a tie is very uncomfortable to wear. so a collar shirt is the most i would wear. having been called to jury duty at the local county courthouse, a simple collar shirt is acceptable. but watching the continuing dumbing down of society, and the fact that many people have very set and skewed paradigms in place, i accept that if i were to be judge by my peers, i am pretty fucked anyway. yep, again total agreement. from my time on a jury, i was totally appalled by the apathy and sheer stupidity of so many - the sheer inability to use simple logic. don't know what i'd do if i ever got hauled in for something. my faith in society sounds like it on par with yours. also agree about the tie thing - can't stand them and i'm glad i don't work in an industry where i have to wear them. feel like i'm choking. i do like sport coats however. went to the symphony last night in slacks, black t, black sport coat and fit right in.
