  1. Sadly, many who lean left view ALL who lean right as devoted neo-cons. It's a view that is unsupported by the facts. Personally, I think less than one third of all Americans who consider themselves Conservative actually embrace the Neo-con agenda.
  2. You see everything that does not agree with your FEARFUL leader who is ill spoken.. has shown GROSS incompetence in his leaderhip of this country as HATE.. its a good Ultra Right Wing Religious Right perspective that paints anyone who points out the obvious to you as HATE...tsk tsk tsk.. You see anything more open minded than your positions as somehow evil. Speaking of projection.
  3. Thanks for being a poster child for mine One big difference being that the descriptions I use for your posts are based on what you and others actually post, whereas your assertions are frequently inane fantasy... bullshit rants... silly... if anyone took them seriously, they might be considered lies.
  4. And who was it who is INFAMOUS for his... You iz either with us or you iz against us....DUH.. why its the Leading Neo Con himself You see everything that does not agree with your FEARFUL leader who is ill spoken.. has shown GROSS incompetence in his leaderhip of this country as HATE.. its a good Ultra Right Wing Religious Right perspective that paints anyone who points out the obvious to you as HATE...tsk tsk tsk.. Its akin to how those of you on the far right who have held sway over the mind and soul of this country for years now....veiws anyone with a position to the left of you...ie those less conservative or even moderates as several of you use the ( in YOUR minds) word Liberal. You see anything more open minded than your positions as somehow evil. Its always fun logging in here to get the latest talking points of the failed NeoCon experiment at destroying our country as we have known it based on that outdated piece of paper that is over 200 years old. It just does not match your modern world view. Thanks. You're a peach.
  5. Some people have amazing blinders and filters. It really is disheartening to see how some people (supposedly educated people from Western societies) view our military, which has infrequent cases of atrocious behavior (which is usually prosecuted), as being on par with terrorist groups, who's standard tactic is resorting to barbaric, inhumane cruelty. Reminds me of the saying about not being so open-minded that your brain falls out.
  6. Bozo, Around here, you need to openly disagree with certain, unnamed posters, to get your "Neo-con" merit badge. It doesn't matter if your point has nothing to do with US foreign policy... or is just supportive the administration. By merely questioning the validity of one of the bogus anti-Bush claims, that seem so common, you'll quickly get labled a neo-con. There's definitely an "either you're with us or you're against us" mentality embraced by some. Either you hate Bush, (to the very core of your being), or you are a knuckle-dragging, myopic, neo-con lemming. IMO, life is so much richer if you are able to pick up on the shades of gray.
  7. How about Oprah? She's pretty well liked. Actually, I watched about 20 minutes of her show last night... Faith Hill was her guest. I'm guessing the number of people who hate Faith is pretty small. What's not to like?????
  8. Speaking of old posts, here is one from Amazon.
  9. Preferably one that doesn't cause a third of the population to detest you.
  10. Look to your Administration... they are the poster child for this.... Personally I think those who do have something or someone to lose to military adventures are not as quick to resort to using the military... unlik our CURRENT leadership. "My administration"? LOL Classic Amazon... like it's some how mine, but not your's. Do you think past "war" presidents let the participation of their offspring determine how best to pursue the war effort? "Juniors in that theater... we'd better retreat so he doesn't get shot". This whole "chickenhawk" business of elected leaders (and their advisors) not having the right to deploy troops, unless they served and are willing to make their children serve is some of the dumbest shit I hear... getting repeated ad nauseam, like it's a legitimate point. It's a pretty safe bet our next President will not have served. Will you use that against them, if they deploy troops?
  11. It seems that a very small, very vocal minority keep making that claim over and over and over....
  12. Tell it to the young people in your family and community.
  13. What is your point? Does this have anything to do with Neo-cons?
  14. Did they have to serve? Or did they volunteer? I ask because I frequently hear hear stupid claims about Bush et al should send their children to fight in Iraq. Military service is voluntary.
  15. Have any past Presidents forced their children to participate in military involvements?
  16. If you actually read what she writes (other than the inflamatory snippets that get so much attention, you might see she's actually pretty smart and has some insightful (as opposed to inciteful) stuff to say. Unfortunately, her inciteful statements get all the attention. Also unfortunate, IMO she slathers it on regularly. I rarely read her stuff....got tired of the cheap jabs.
  17. You're saying that flying the American flag should be compulsory? That's flat out ridiculous. No more ridiculous than giving all illegals citizenship.
  18. A few years ago I had surgery. Made sure I got everything pre-approved. After the surgery, my insurance company started dragging it's feet about paying. My claim was being "reviewed". Then everything got OKed. Then it got put back on "reviewed" status for a new reason. I called every few weeks to check the status and continually got the run around. This went on for SIX MONTHS! Then I got fed up and asked if I needed to contact an attorney. My claim was approved the next day.
  19. You might want to do some research on how much malpractice issues contribute to rising healthcare cost. I think it's a pretty small piece of the pie. One huge expense, that could be reduced is administration. You streamline processing, as well as get rid of all the commisions being paid to brokers, and the costs drop considerably. These non-medical costs are huge! Another biggie is competition for patients and consumers' demand for the best technology available. Hospitals, fighting for patient dollars, are constantly upgrading. You want the best, you have to pay for the best.... which leads us to... Research! I'm not sure about this, but I think more medical research dollars are spent in the US than the rest of the world combined. If we get National Healthcare, don't plan on the breakthroughs akin to what we've enjoyed over the last 50 years. I'm not sure how to solve this dilemna... I'm just offering up some of the issues.
  20. I got that, too. I hit the back button and all my answers were still there. Hit "quiz results" button a 2nd time and it worked.
  21. That cuts both ways. I'd bet most Americans (who have health insurance) prefer our system to a nationalized, universal one.
  22. I took your advice and found this: http://www.anncoulter.com/cgi-local/printer_friendly.cgi?article=191
  23. I think they are both ugly women. Why? Because mean people are ugly. Awe, c'mon. What you really want is a threesome with those two firebrands. Admit it. You want 'em both.... bad! Go ahead. Get it off your chest. You know you want to.
