    Just think how much more intelligent Party Boy would have been if he had not been frying brain cells on Cocaine during his college years and his subsequent "service" in the National Guard. I remember when the Golden Flow program started... I also remember the repercussions of being caught with illicit substances in the urinalysis...Party Boy did not bother to show up for the last year of his "service" since he did not take that flight physical.. that would also have forced him to provide a sample of his cocaine laced urine...and with his family connections.. never had any repercussions for his actions.. You say he has some bad administration skills.. for such a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard he sure has made some "interesting" business blunders... in his rather unstellar carreer. So yes... diminished capacity CERTAINLY applies. If nothing else,... you're consistent.

    I'm not really a lefty (believe it or not), but this is perplexing. I wonder - where are historical numbers for congressional approval published? I keep hearing 'historic low', but where is the history? Assuming this is true, what would increase approval? Ending the war? Free beer for all citizens? Seems like it's all about infighting. The voters said they want new leadership in Congress. The Dems have yet to demonstrate much leadership. Underlying message - You bums are no better than the last bums.

    So what? Where does it say Cheney instructed Libby to out Plame? Fitzgerald produced no evidence... zero, zilch, zip, nada.. no evidence of Libby being instructed to do so. Here we are four years later, a lengthy investigation and trial... the case has been put under the microscope... and Joe Wilson's claim of the White House maliciously outing his wife has been shown to be a blatant lie. Sadly, many of the Bush haters out there can't face up to the facts of this little drama. Boohoo. You mean the guy who was the first juror to speak to the press? Who lined up a spot on Larry King Live the day the trial ended? You mean the guy who posted a seven page story about being a juror on the Huffington Post, the following day? The guy who was very public about his 15 minutes of fame? Ooo, let's pretend he speaks for all the jurors.

This whole Kent State comparison to the potential threat of using the military to control the overall population is fucking moronic. So is the comparison of present-day life in America to colonial 1775. Sometimes I just want to yell - Hey you stupid fucking whiners. Pull your heads out of your asses and look around. I mean really look around. Wipe that shit out of eyes. You never had it so good. In the history of man, no one ever had it so good. So while you're bitchin' and moanin' about how retchedly bad things are in this country, about how George Bush has done irreparable harm to this country and destroyed the Constitution, don't begrudge those who consider the present as being a pretty awesome time to be alive.
