  1. Anyone pay attention to yesterday's Supreme Court decisions? If you're worried about having your Constitutional rights taken away, you should read up on the rulings.
  2. We see what we want to see. And I see a heap of anti-Christian hostility from you in this thread. Thanks for illustrating my point.
  3. How's this? http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=2858429#2858429 Maybe hypocrite doesn't fit the bill. How about "do as I say... not as I do"? You'll have to help me out on that one. All I see there is a few guys trying to prove the Laffer Curve with no attention to basic economics. Here you go sport. My point had to do with your communication mastery, not economics.
  4. The title of this thread was written by an atheist, so I don't take it to be an attack on atheists. And then I got the impression that NC was saying that the 26% who voted that atheists are immoral are probably the people with the lowest IQ's. Yeah. I was basically saying there are a lot of dumb people in this country, so the findings of that poll shouldn't be too surprising... or a cause for concern for Atheists. No. Some people just look for ways to misunderstand many things.
  5. 97 Am I right? What'd I win? I love guessing games. I'm pretty good at 'em, you know.
  6. In other words, we should only respond about that part of your posts and ignore your own political commentary. Got it.
  7. Why is an American more deserving of aid than a non American? Why is a non-American more deserving than an American, of American donations?
  8. I think each and everyone one of us here is an opinionated hypocrite (you, me, NCClimber and everyone else). All that we can seem to agree on is that we agree to disagree with each other. I believe I'm consistent and avoid the hypocrisy, but by all means, point out where I stray. How's this? http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=2858429#2858429 Maybe hypocrite doesn't fir the bill. How about "do as I say... not as I do"? Funny how some people look to misunderstand.
  9. I can't see how anyone would take his words as a threat.
  10. First off don't talk about immigration because the USA is in no position to be telling the rest of the World how it should be controlled. Since our government does a crappy job managing our border, that prohibits Americans from asking others about their own border controls? Interesting. What does our immigration policy have to do with our dependence on foreign oil? Seems a bit extreme.
  11. According the article in the OP, " Americans gave nearly $300 billion to charitable causes last year" That comes out to about $1000.00 per capita for 2006. Do any other countries give as much on a per capita basis?
  12. We see what we want to see. Yeah, it's a bit ironic that NCclimber can't see the title of the thread. I'm continually impressed with what you seem to think you know about what I mean or see. LOL
  13. Apparently I know something that you don't. And I'm sure I know many things you don't. WHAT did you mean by "nearly half"? And what population? Which average? Without knowing this, your claim is totally meaningless. 42 is nearly more than 43. You seem intent on pushing this matter. What is it you want to know? The intended point of that post was to address the portion of the population with an IQ below 90. It's not that big of a deal, anyway.
  14. How much do you give for famine relief, each year? How much do you give the church? Nice dodge. LOL
  15. Apparently I know something that you don't. And I'm sure I know many things you don't. I'll be sure to give myself a pat on the back.
  16. How much do you give for famine relief, each year?
  17. The SC sides with the school http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D8PVTOFG0&show_article=1
  18. There's a Wallace and Gromit joke in here somewhere.
  19. Could a system be designed using universal constants? No arbitrary units whatsoever. Would that not be vastly superior? Who gives a toss if the units are arbitrary or not? Wouldn't it still be an arbitrary decision to base the units on universal constants? Any way you cut it, measurement is still a human construct.
  20. I've heard them make a LOT of 'validating' statements. depends which demographic they're pandering to, I suspect LOL
  21. so it''d be OK if those 25% were, for example, racist - just something you roll with? Not at all. We, as a society, should strive to educate/enlighten our fellow man. My intent was just to point out that a significant portion of our population is below average (by 10 IQ points). With that in mind, we shouldn't be too shocked by these kinds of poll results.
  22. Which Christian coalition are you talking about?
  23. I look forward to the day our media uses this rationale, too.
  24. Especially when you're playing the poster.
