Is buying your child birth control supporting/encouraging sex?
NCclimber replied to Conundrum's topic in Speakers Corner
Man issues, much? -
Do you have links to the ACTUAL studies, as opposed to a pro-gun site reference? We had this issue in another thread, that in the US they were measuring actual crime reports while the UK figures came from a survey rather than actual reports. I missed where any of those studies actually made a dishonest comparison of informal surveys in one country to reported crimes in another. The thread you link compared crime among EU countries. Was a comparison to US crime even made in that thread? Did the comparison of survey to official reports actually happen? Or is this just an attempt to confuse the issue?

Apparently the news of this troop departure has created a stir.

Nah, no way! Back to the American history books for you, lad!!! Is Kallend really 70? I could have sworn he was only 61. But that would mean his claim about recollections from 60 years ago would be pretty unbeleivable.
-
No, but they are also not put in quotation marks. It is pretty clear that you tried to attribute a direct quote to Pelosi in the way you wrote your thread title. A quote you made up out of thin air. Do you not see the difference between what you wrote and: Pelosi wants her own jet? When you are dishonest with attributing quotes, it makes everything you write pretty suspect, specially when you couple that with the fact that you have nothing filled out in your profile. One might even think you are nothing more than a troll. I apologize if you took it that way. I thought its absence in the article, quoted in the OP, would have made it clear.

Officers Respond To Wrong Address; Homeowner Shot
NCclimber replied to warpedskydiver's topic in Speakers Corner
How is that treating cops like the enemy? See cop coming, put my hands up. Seems like the appropriate response to the Gestapo. That is all. Hunters point guns at animals they intend to eat. Police point guns at people. Ergo, police intend to eat people. It's mind-boggling. -
Oh get over yourself, Francis. What you seem so wrapped up in, is basically a single post of mine. I never stood by the validity of the title. The first time it's accuracy was questioned, I was pretty straightforward about it being made up. I think most people got the hyperbole right off the bat. Seemed like a no-brainer. But that's just me. Go read some of the newer thread titles. Has the Brady Campaign actually started "a shitstorm"? Is it really true that if you capture a rapist, you'll get extradicted? Do you know the meaning of hyperbole? On the other hand, it's SOP for you to skew the facts to present your own little reality. And when you get called, you resort to "diversionary" tactics. Do you really think that if there was solid evidence of Colin Powell attempting to coverup the My Lai massacre, it would have gone unaddressed during his various confirmations? The funny thing is frequently it's just a matter of clarification. But instead of doing that, you steadfastly hold your ground, as if your determination will change the fact that what you said was wrong.

Officers Respond To Wrong Address; Homeowner Shot
NCclimber replied to warpedskydiver's topic in Speakers Corner
Who wrote that the correct response to a cop who comes calling was "... put your hands up"? Oh, it was you! You have the most amazing way of twisting what people say, How can a direct quote of what you wrote be twisting it? It's about context. The CONTEXT is a cop approaching your house. That is exactly what he wrote. "you see police officers approaching your house LOUDLY identify yourself put your hands up into a non-threatening position and follow the officers directions" How is that treating cops like the enemy? -

Nice. Here is part of Srabian's story: -
I'm waiting to hear the same from you. Pelosi - "I want my jet!" One bit of hyperbole vs. a growing list of lies. Lovely.

Winner Excellent. What ever NCclimber posts from now on, I'll assume he made it up

Conceal? Interesting word choice. Implies an intentional effort to hide. You make an assumption based on nothing. A dishonest ploy, indeed. SOP for you. tsk tsk Well, the truth came out anyway - you got a bogus "SILLY" story from Sun Myung's paper, posted here without attribution, and fabricated a quote to go along with it. Oh well. Of course that has nothing to do with your bullshit claim that I "concealed" the source. It's funny. This thread went on for about five days and 220 posts before anyone even brought up the accuracy of the thread title. Hmm. Maybe it had to do with no one taking it at face value. You keep harping on this one and I'll keep exposing your bullshit claims. Speaking of fabrication, I'm still waiting to hear about how old your were in 1947, that you would "remember it well". What do you remember from age two? Yeah - I call BULLSHIT!!!

The problem with some of these GPS systems is that they are inexact. -
Facts are important and should be checked before drawing conclusions. Tell us, why did you conceal the source of this silly story in your OP? Conceal? Interesting word choice. Implies an intentional effort to hide. You make an assumption based on nothing. A dishonest ploy, indeed. SOP for you. tsk tsk

Does that mean you think Rumsfeld was a good SecDef? No.
-
Told any good lies today? I wonder how many direct questions you will slither away from today? I think McCain was talking out of his ass... for political mileage.
-
By now it's pretty clear that this whole todo got stirred up because several Repubs sounded off before getting the facts right. Egg on their face. Egg on my face. But while it was considered a valid story, you seemed to be saying this was chump change... much ado about nothing. Did you really think a US Representative getting around $3,000,000.00 per year in taxpayer funded travel was irrelevant?
-
You didn't really think that was intended as a verbatim quote? Did you know gullible is not in the dictionary? You can look it up. The whole "how old are you" goes to your claim of fond memories from 1947. Either it you are old enough to possibly have fond memories of that year or you were just shoveling shit. I asked because I expected the later.

Another POS poll.

Wrong, sporto. You consistently duck, dodge, evade direct questions. I'm not the only one who has noted this tendancy. Seems like every week you say something that sets my bullshit detector off. Predictably, you resort to "diversionary" tactics when pressed. It sucks getting called on your bullshit, don't it? And that thread title about Pelosi was hyperbole, Just wanted to re-clarify that for you.
