I think you could just do an exit standing on opposite sides of the basket, both facing the same way (looking to your resp. left/right, at the same point on the horizon) and jumping off slighly sideways.. Kinda like exiting a helicopter, both from one side, and then flying in the direction the nose is pointing. I think the music just has to fit the footage... I think you could very well make a freeflying video with classical music or whatever you want, as long as it fits your editing and the video in terms of mood and atmosphere.. I know I always appreciate it very much when someone goes a different route with music and ends up with something original (instead of the 'standard' rock-hard genre of songs that you hear with almost every video nowadays..) It's in the export menu, or you can do it on the timeline Just click your timeline, then pres ctrl+a (or from the menu, select all) Now go to the clip/video menu en select video-options>fields/interlacing and you will get a menu with several interlacing options. Clicking the option 'always deinterlace' will solve all your problems. And your whole project on the timeline will be free of interlaced lines.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

I actualy didn't get the foam footage from Perry, since someone else had already taped over 30 minutes of carnage at the foam-fest (ME!!!hehe) But with Perry's footage we could definately fill a whole evening hehehe The Foam party is already done editing-wise (to the sounds of Freestylers - Push up:):) Also done with the Helicopter jumps (soo much beautifull footage from everyone:) Still have the big V formations, The JP-Rabbit jumps, Misc jumps (rodeo's, stacks, messy jumps and so on) and Exit-Carnage parts left to do Those will probably be the rough chapters of the DVD..might be some more stuff on there.. I remember an old Parachutist magazine which had some b/w photo's of a CRW jump that went bad. At about a 1000 ft or so one of the guys mains released, while they where in a bi-plane (locked with their legs) The guy managed to hold on (hanging upside-down on the other jumpers leg) and they landed in a swimming-pool that was on the landingterrain. There is some great video of Vesa exiting the Herc, filmed from the jetfighter that was flying a few meters to the side (and YESS...THAT"S THE COOL STUFF THAT WAS HAPPENING THERE...FREAKIN' JETFIGHTERS ALONGSIDE THE HERC!!!) Vesa typicly exited last, flew out way above the herc, then did a slow turn back down, and then a 180 mph dive to catch the rest of the formation, and usualy arived there before half of the wingsuiters... I think it's easyest to manifest/anounce it as a 'normal' tracking jump. Since te distance traveled and freefall-time are probably about the same...? Did my first Rodeo this weekend (this morning actualy). Took a good (girl) friend along for a ride, and a budy along (as a normal 'tracker')...and had a blast! Worked perfect! At 6000 ft, she waved off and let go (she spread her arms and legs, and she just flew off backward).. I did a big slow U-Turn and then flew by her in the distance at 4500 ft as she was already under an open canopy....waayyy cool jump.. Then those shit hot stuff guys need to get their shit hot stuff in order because it's not that big a hassle...it just takes some time... In Premiere, just de-interlacing it (premiere>video/clip>fields>deinterlace) already helps to get rid of those nasty jagged field-edges that appear when converting it that way, and you'll have nice looking footage. But you do still get skipped frames due to the 30>25 fps conversion. But there are a ton of ways to do even better conversions (I use After Effects and that works 100% okay, hardly any difference with original PAL footage, no skipped frames, no jagged edges..) I also have JP's birdman footage at home, and wil do a PAL conversion for the Wingsuit Herc video I'm editing for the birdpeople.. If you have 1 or 2 weeks I could send you a tape with the birdman-footage already converted to PAL format, so you can use it in the Boogie video... I'll make sure that the tape you'll get has 100% groovy looking PAL material on there because missing out on JP's stuff would be a shame... Just let me know if you want it...?
