It can be confusing because a wind sock shows wind direction and the tet points to landing direction. Often with light winds, the wind sock isn't catching the wind, the tet will move with very litle wind.

As long as the individual under canopy knows how to read it. There are a ton of people out there who do not know the proper way to read a tetrahedron. ------------------------------------------ If a new jumper shows up we let them know to land the direction it is pointing!

This is/has been such an obviously oppropriate solution to the traffic problem, I don't understand why the dzo's don't implement it, and enforce it. Eloy-none, Z-Hills-none, SDC-none, Ranch-none.......I'm not all that big on a bunch of rules, but this one sure would make things simpler. After Roger's death, the experienced landing area is into the wind only at Spaceland. If you want to downwind or crosswind you land on the otherside of the runway where the swoop ditch and pond are. If you crosswind in the experienced area, you'd better land last! to add; They also installed a big bright orange tetrahedron for low or no wind days when you can get mixed signals from the wind blades. It's helped a lot.

I was feeling bummed about working today on my birthday with beautiful warming blue skies. Then I log on and see that one of our's took her own life, kat69. Now I'm bummed for all those people that are hurt from this. I was so selfish about me when all is great. My condolences to all pained by this.

But I guess if you value human life at $0 you don't much care. I said the value of this life is $0! I also stated if there is unprotestable evidence they shouldn't get appeals to keep them there for 20 yrs. I don't think that Osama would sit there for 20 years exhausting appeals. If it's cut and dried, end it!

And it costs more to put one to death than to keep them in prison for life, if you want to get down to dollar figures. Then again, I've never been one to sit down and determine the value of a human life. Curious as to where in the hell u came up with this crap. It may cost more if we let them sit there fore 20 years which is ludicrus, if the guilt is obvious and without protestable evidence, they shouldn't have to suffer there more than a year before we help them burn in hell. I think that the cost figures for both are pretty much available. As for the value of this human life,$0.

My friend, I am your favorite customer! I will pull as far off of the road as I can and have everthing in my hand when you get to my car with both hands on the wheel! I have a lifetime 100 club sticker in my back window! That all seems to buy me $0 when it comes to tickets although I haven't had any in years. Yo' GW is the most allert freeking president we have had in years! Only to be outdone by his dad and and Reagen. If you didn't notice the rest of the world laughing at us while our last was having his unit being sucked and asking what "is" is. We were the laughing stock of the the world!!!!!!!!! Just wanted to say Merry Christmas to all of my friends here and those I have yet to meet. May you find peace and happiness in the new year. May the Lord bless us with blue skies, soft winds and nice landings. May the Lord take care of those that unfortunately have come under his care this year and watch out for those that have come close. Please remain helping those that are still injured from our glorious sport that may have met you, had you been ready. May we learn from the mistakes of our brothers and sisters to remain safe and enjoy this beautiful world that you have given us. To all that read this and agree, please say thanks for all that we have and may the Lord shine in your heart. I personally am not extremely religious but in these troubled times, have more faith than disbelief in a higher power. Merry Christmas to all and a happy, healthy and safe new year!
