  1. Yes, we still are electing those that are puppets of the banking cartel. The Rockefeller family help found the Council on Foreign Relations, David Rockefeller helped found the Trilateral Commission. Coincidentally, Jimmy Carter (member of Trilateral) was elected and appointed over 20 members of the Trilateral Commission to his cabinet. Clinton was a member of TC, appointed many members of that organization to his cabinet as well. Most 20th century presidents with the exception of Reagan have been a members of the CFR. I don't think that's coincidence; I think it's all by design. Republican or Democrat, they serve those who issue the nation's money. The Rockefellers and Morgans helped found the Federal Reserve (more a private corporation than government agency), and still run it to this day. Quote from FDR: The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the larger centers has owned the Government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson.. Letter to Col. Edward Mandell House (21 November 1933) One more from Woodrow Wilson for ya, after he let the Federal Reserve come into being: "I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world. No longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men." ...let the "tin foil" comments commence... 3. CFR events are one thing, membership is another. Big difference sir. From their FAQ page: Have you been proposed as a member? Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  4. The secret that really matters, that people should be asking about, is Obama's membership in the Council on Foreign Relations (along with all other mainstream candidates from both parties). Not to mention the fact that Zbigniew Brzezinski, one of the founders of the Trilateral Commission, has endorsed his candidacy. To me that's pretty telling of where he's coming from, and that he does not have the interest of the people of the US in mind. While it would probably be interesting to read your views on those relationships, does your post have anything to do with the content of the OP? You're right. I probably should have made a post about zonkeys, axolotls and rock hyraxes. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  5. Because only the most influential politicians, academics, financiers, corporate executives, etc. are members...in other words, the country's ruling elite. The organization exists to serve their interests, not yours or mine. Discussions are behind closed doors, and decisions are made in the dark that affect you and me. Do you think a candidate that is a member of such an organization should be deemed trustworthy? Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.

  9. So Fox is part of the left-wing media bias too then (unless of course the Pew reports defined Strom Thurmond as "center")! Damn, when will we get a network that is truly "fair and balanced"??!! 11. from here: I think Mr. Bernstein's words are spot-on. Hell, we have people posting shit here about Anna Nicole and Ellen Degeneris' dog, while our constitutional liberties are gradually being eroded. And then election after election we end up with complete asses for candidates, we complain about the system...and every four years the cycle continues. So what will it take for people to wake up? 12. Of course you never evade the point when you can't answer a question. Not even with lots of stupid emoticons. of course you never do that! Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  13. So then...he is by inference likening himself to Winston Churchill. This poor excuse for a president is and has always been over his head and is completely unfit to run this war, let alone this country. 16. CDIT = Clinton Did It Too. It's a tactic that republicans on this site use when confronted with facts they don't like. Of course not. Don't put words into my mouth. My point was that democrats don't give a shit about the middle class. They do, however, get votes from the middle class by saying things that they think the middle class voters want to hear. That's how they get votes. And then what do you know -- the rich get richer under them all the same. So your point is that democrats screw the middle class with vaseline, while the republicans do it without vaseline. I agree, and I don't argue that point. But if you think that the middle class will fare better in the long term under democrats, you're wrong. Both parties are out to screw the middle class. You prefer the one that talks better bullshit to the common man than the other party. I prefer neither because to me it's the same shite, different smell. If you want real change, you'll have to do more than follow the party line, whether that's republican or democrat. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  17. And you keep voting in those who perpetuate the screwing of the middle class? Nice. He's donating after he dies, is that a problem over donating it now? BTW, that would be criterion. I never thought I'd be invoking the ol' "CDIT," but it's to make a point -- the rich got richer and the poor got poorer under Clinton. So where do you get this "last ten years" from? Like someone said above, the middle class has been getting screwed for much longer than ten years...if you think electing democrats as opposed to republicans is the solution to this problem, you have a lot of homework to do. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.

  20. He's right - unless you massively expand Customs / TSA and ensure that ALL containers and shipments are searched - every single one, every time - there is no way to prevent a bomb from being shipped in. That doesn't even take into account bringing a man-pack warhead up from Mexico... ...and let me guess, you blame the democrats for this not being standard procedure already, even though such procedures were recommended to be put in place years ago. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.

  24. Lots of rich folks make charity "foundations" for one purpose -- to shelter their money from taxes. Bill Gates is no more generous than any other ultra-rich man.
