  1. So what do you think should be done, if anything? Curious to know. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  2. Really, what's the "inside" story about Dobb's hate from his fellows? Just a difficult guy to work with, or is it something else? I'm curious to know too. I went to a book signing of his back in September and found him to be very intelligent, articulate and a real gentleman with his audience. It's hard to imagine him being less likeable than that jerkoff O'Reilly. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  3. Reminds me of this video, brought to you by "Consipracy Shit." Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  4. Uh . . . you don't know me very well do you? Wink Nope, I certainly don't. Just saying that sounds like a very Fox or main stream media point of view. It's a colossal waste of time discussing Ron Paul with quade. Talk about "bullheaded"... Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  5. That's horrible. I hope you have made her aware of how bad that is for the dog? Please elaborate -- how is it bad for the dog? I'm in the same boat with my mother -- she treats her dog better than she ever treated me or my sister. I'd like to share that information with her in hope that she'll adjust the exaggerated affection and pampering (she cooks for the dog, among other things ). Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  6. I prefer this one. Different strokes for different folks I guess. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  7. Thanks for the suggestion. I think I'll pass. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  8. I got leftover fried bananas last year for Valentine's Day. I was expecting nothing, so that was a treat. This year I got nothing, but I don't mind, V-Day is all about her anyhow. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  9. Your president (who you so often quickly defend by pointing at how terrible the 'libs' are) is also soft on immigration. So is GWB a liberal too? Also, I see McCain's bipartisan work as evidence of his standing on principle -- it means he's not afraid to stray from "ideology" (in your wording) to stand up for what he believes, even if it means pissing off some "conservatives." I see someone who votes conservative *all the time* as someone who is adhering to an ideology. Other than those anomalies, he's fundamentally a conservative. We agree there. But unfortunately, Dr. Paul has repeatedly stated that he's not going to run as an independent. I'm still waiting to hear what could qualify a candidate as a conservative...yet you refuse to answer that simple question. I think it's evident that a republican candidate that can appeal to those "on the other side of the fence" just pisses you off. Personally, I prefer a nation that's not polarized -- we've had enough of that and it's done us no good. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  10. Still waiting for an answer -- what qualifies as "conservative" to you, especially when someone has an 82.3% conservative voting (you know, walking the talk) record? Simple and honest question Mike. Also, from what I remember, a key issue to you is the second amendment, which McCain fiercely supports. Looking forward to your answer. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  11. Here's your answer -- Kerry, Soros, Hispanics, NEW YORK TIMES!!! That should shut you up -- McCain is a liberal! Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  12. So an 82.3% rating on his congressional record by the American Conservative Union isn't good enough for ya? Who would have thought that such a high rating would make him as liberal as a Schumer or a Clinton, who respectively get 6.2% and 9%. What qualifies as conservative for you then? Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  13. Kind of makes ya wish that the dipshit had listened to the generals in the first place who were telling him to deploy far more troops that he initially did. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  14. Classy post. Makes sense, especially in the context of this video I just watched regarding McCain's record as a conservative. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  15. from here The entire editorial (not long) is worth a read. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  16. Duh, my bad. Who do you think might be his running mate? Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  17. Unfortunately, the Ron Paul revolution is a thing of the past (unless he takes a 180 and runs libertarian, which he has ruled out repeatedly). But seriously, do you think McCain is interested in a theocracy? If so, what has he done/said that gives you that impression? I never got that impression from him, even though he made some speeches at Liberty U and/or similar Christian colleges. Edited to add: I'm amazed at what a comeback his campaign has made. I remember just a few months back the press was reporting that his campaign was effectively dead in the water. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  18. from here So McCain vs Clinton or Obama it shall be. Discuss if you like (and I'm still looking for some real answers as to how McCain qualifies as "liberal" or "dem lite"). Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  19. So do I, but we certainly won't get a candidate like that anytime soon. Basically, any candidate (r or d) that gets his/her party's nomination is pretty much a lackey for big business. Wish it were different. As for the original post, I loathe football analogies in general, but this one in particular is just plain stupid. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  20. I don't know what that means. "Quoted For Truth." Looks like I was qfw then. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  21. I don't know what that means. I think it means 'quite f'ing true' Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  22. I disagree -- McCain is *not* divisive, which is precisely why ultra-conservatives do not like him. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  23. What is it about McCain that disqualifies him from your vote should he get the nomination? 1. McCain - Feingold: nonsense legislation that prohibits free speech during campaigns. 2. His immigration policy which is basically non-existent. 3. His core beliefs change with the wind. In 1999 he was pro-choice and then that changed to pro-life in 2000. 4. In the past he called Roberts and Falwell agents of intolerance but now he is getting cozy with them so he can get support from the religious right. 5. He is just too moderate for my tastes. I also think he will leave the troops in Iraq. They need to be brought home. Iraq is turning into another Vietnam. There is no winning. The Iraqis need to get there house in order. We can't do it for them. Thanks for your input. I think you summed it up best with your first sentence in item #5. Also, I find it interesting that you would follow up on that sentence with a rather moderate opinion on the Iraq war. I'd still like to hear from the other conservative die-hards why they consider McCain a liberal. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  24. Why, in your own opinion, do you consider him a liberal? Curious to know. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  25. The response is usually "well, this is the internet, you're posting to a public forum, expect to get answers you don't want to get"...very poor excuse for being an asshole, especially when I'm damn sure that person wouldn't say what they typed to someone's face. Anyway, I think the payoff is feeling high and mighty -- some people have a need for that. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
