You'll be able to do that. The Otter should be here around the first of April. Easy Does It

I starting to tell people, "If I have to explain, you wouldn't understand!" Easy Does It

That's what I thought but I wasn't sure- Yes - the monthly meat was flown, But I won't mention any names- Easy Does It

She's loves her play toy, and it's cheaper than a divorce! Easy Does It

Yes I did! Just a couple hop-n-pops, but it felt damn good to be in the air. Even as cold as it was. Got a pair of neoprene gloves- They're perfect for winter jumping. Meat load? Easy Does It

Welcome, bro! Read until your head explodes, drink a beer or three, then read some more! Easy Does It

Welcome, bro! And worry aboout boring us here- You'll bore enough whuffos after you start jumping more. But then again, they're whuffos, so that's to be expected! Easy Does It

You could get into the boys face and let him know, "look punk, I'm crazy enough to jump out of airplanes, do you really want to find out what else I might do?" Worked on one kid for me! Easy Does It

Yep it does have a full frame- (One of the things I liked aobut it-) Also the 4.2l V-6, good power, and a classIII hitch receiver, for towing things like THE HARLEY! We tried the Escape, I wasn't too thrilled, and besides, Sharon had her heart set on the Chevy. Now hopefully i don't get too much grief about going to the DZ. (Like I did today!) And it does feel good to have my stuff paid off! Woo Hoo! Easy Does It

My wife has been lusting- For a new car. Her 96 Monte Carlo had 153,000 hard miles on it. So I took her out last Saturday and we got her the object of her obbsession - A 2002 Trailblazer. A year old, but she's happy just the same. I beat the hell out of the salesman, and got 6,400 for her Monte, and got the warrenty extended to 100,000 miles. I am happy with the payment. So now she has her gas-guzzling SUV. And I have - a payment. We also re-financed our house, got the rate lowered a full point, and now my truck, my Harley, and my rig are paid off. I think that's worth a case of beer! But man- after all this, I feel a bit like a consumer whore! It's great being an American! Easy Does It

I feel your pain, man! I describe my wife as not as a whuffo, but a "ground-hugging whuffo" I even have a "bounty" of sorts on her refusal to jump. If anyone can talk her into a tandem, I will buy all the beer everyone can drink that night! Still nothing. How can I up the ante? Easy Does It

Glad to hear he's safe. I have three kids of my own, they live in NY with thier Mom. If something were to happen to one of them- well, I'd probably be in jail for manslaughter, at least. And whatever is behind this- It sounds weird. I too hope it gets settled! Good thoughts to all involved! Easy Does It

We just refinanced on a house we purchased about a year and a half ago- A full point lower. It appraised a full 25 grand more than at purchase time. Real estate is a very good investment in the right market. Easy Does It

Uh- No, I'm not nuts- And I have papers from men in nice suits that say I'm not nuts. Do you? And besides, I mean, people keep on opening the door, and it looks like so much fun I just can't help myself, man. And I like the sound that big cloth thingy makes when it opens up over my head. And yeah, you do sound like my Mom, too. She said this one thing I'll never forget. She said, "Lenny, would you please put that gun down?" Easy Does It

Yeah come to think of it, they aren't made of aircraft-quality hardware. Easy Does It

Very good safety topic! Being a maintenance supervisor myself, and a member of our companies' safety committee, I encourage workers to remove jewelery for the same reasons. My wedding band comes off in the morning, and I keep it on my keychain. One of the many hats I wear is that of "electrician", and I often play with live, 480-volt, three-phase stuff. I'm just as afraid of the shock hazard, should the ring get snagged on a live conductor, I could be major trouble. I've seen the safety films of fingers lost or injured due to rings getting snagged. Ugly. Very ugly. Unfortunately, our company doesn't have an official "No Jewelery" policy, so I can't insist on it. I ususally wear gloves while jumping, but often still take the ring off, just because it makes it easier to get my gloves on and off. I am guilty of wearing my closing pin, though, but I try to tuck it inside my jumpsuit. I am re-thinking that strategy now. Easy Does It

I knew it all the time! That's one of the things that makes us so cool! Easy Does It

New jumpsuit here - Maybe two- I can't decide between ZuteSute and Bev, and I've already ordered a Zute, so if I even get a refund (I've had to pay the last three years-) I'll order a Bev. Easy Does It

I fully agree here- Not to sound cocky, but I downsized radically when coming off student status and while I did well, there is no way I would reccomend it to any one- Find a 170 first- And you won't go wrong with a Spectre. Easy Does It

I always get the repack - Sure, it may come at an inconvenient time, but It's not hard to make sure the coin is in your pocket. But it sure would be nice to have a 180 day cycle here in the states instead of 120! Anybody have any update on the status of that? I understand the USPA is lobbying for it, but haven't heard of any progress. Easy Does It

When people ask me to describe the sensation of freefall, I tell them it's like trying to describe an orgasm. The best way to find out is to experience it yourself! On our safety commitee, I was asked what the most important piece of safety equipment for skydiving is. I told them "Your brain". When people tell me they are afraid of heights, I always tell them I was, too. And they always love hearing the story of the one guy at your DZ who can land on a picnic table without spilling anyones' drink! Easy Does It

Baah! I haven't been able to jump in over a month! I'm ready to chew the plaster off the walls! Easy Does It

Question about relationships? More for married people....
Dumpster replied to rhino's topic in The Bonfire
First a very brief history: My first marriage lasted 12 years, 14 if you include the two years it took to get around to finalizing the divorce. My former and I still get along quite well. My second has lasted, going on four years now. #1. Depends on what I/we are planning. If I'm going for beers after work, I'll give Sharon a call to let her know, and make sure I'm not needed elsewhere. If I'm planning on spending a Saturday at the dropzone, it gets a little more advance attention. She pretty much does the same. We plan activities together all the time. Friday night is always our "date night". We have gone out for dinner almost every Friday since we started dating. #2. I have one daughter in college, plus another daughter and a son waiting in the wings. What scholarships and grants don't cover, thier Mom, Sharon and I (try) to cover. I would like to have the resources to pay the full ride, but just don't. All of the kids in my family had to pay our own way. for the same reason. #3. Intimate and personal matters? Depends on what the specific topic is, and who we're with. Financial and emotional matters, we most likely keep close. Intimately, we have been known to be pretty open with things. Sometimes really open. Like I said, it depends. Some of our very close friends have had alot of fun with us! #4. Most always, it's each other. But we are understanding when a friend or family member needs something special from one of us. Easy Does It -
Froot-looped? I must say that's a new one. Definition? Easy Does It
