My self, no problems with my ex at all- I even take my 15- yr old daughter to the DZ with me when she is out for her 2-4 weeks in the summer. She's learning how to pack and saving for her first jump and subsequent training- ( And I have to remind the DZ rats she is ONLY 15!!!!) But i don't stay really late or get drunk when she is with me- i have to make sure we get home safe- Now if you were to ask if my current wife gives me static, that would be a yes - but it hasn't become a hazard - yet - (I'm more worried about the current wife--) Easy Does It

I wasn't loking for anyhting in particular when it kind of snuck up on me and now I'm married to my second. The on;y; thing that might happen now is either she leaves me because I skydive too much- Which would really suck but then again maybe not- I would say that's the only real hazard to my relationship right now- The point- If it's a fling, leave it as a fling- Long term just kinda creeps up on you--- Did me anyway-- Easy Does It

Skydiving was on my mental list of "things to do" - stuff I would try just once so I could say "been there- done that" Y'know? Little goals-- So one weekend a few friends and I decided to go to Hinckley and do tandems- That was it for me- all winter I saved up my $$ and that next Spring I did my S/L at SkyKnights - The rest is history! I have know idea what happened to the other guys- I think they spend thier weekends watching football or playing golf or something- Skydiving has changed my life and my perspective - Some changes came about quickly and some are still slowly manifesting themselves. It has also changed some people's perspective on me, too- either I'm "that crazy SOB skydiver-" or "He's cool- He's a skydiver!!" My wife thinks skydiving is more important to me than she is- mmmmm - Maybe? I know the people are great, everywhere you go - I don't think I've ever met a skydiver I didn't like- (some I like more than others, but that's another story-) And it doesn't matter who you are, what you do for a lining, how much money you have or where you come from - Once you set foot on a DZ you're all skydivers!
