I've got a 15 year old daughter, Sarah, who LOVES coming to the DZ with me when she visits (lives in NY with the ex-) She can't wait to jump- She began learning how to pack, and I actually jumped her first pack job- (she was closely supervised, of course, but I think it gave her a confidence boost-) I'm really looking foward to jumping with her, probably chasing her on a tandem. Really cool! Easy Does It

Well- I'm in the > 50k bracket, not including the whuffo wifes' income, but I shell out alomost a grand a month in child support- Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my kids, but it will be nice when they become "emancipated"!! Easy Does It

Well, I got two jumps in before the clouds rolled in- Uppers were moving pretty fast so I didn't dump high- Opened around 3 grand like usual - Very nice openings, the slider hung up about 2/3 down on the second jump, but a quick shake of the risers took care of that- I think what impressed me the most was the flare! I didn't get to play too much before it was time to set up for landing, so I can't give too much feedback there yet- Looks like i would prefer this to my Spectre- It's going to be hard going back to it! I hope to get back to the DZ next weekend and get one or two jumps opening high, and really play with it. I packed it much like my Spectre, just shoved the nose back in a little, and rolling the tail just enough to keep it together when I lay it down- Getting it into the bag wasn't bad. Incidentally, I took the tube stows off my D-bag and went with regular bands- (the stows were getting ratty, and I was shoert on $$-) A little more difficult getting bites, but not bad- So far, I can say great openings and great flare, and easy to manuver- Hopefully I'll have more next weekend! 2:2:2 Only got 2 jumps in on the demo Sabre II It's going to be hard going back to my Spectre, when it comes back from PD. Club meeting last nite- I am now an official, permanant member of Sky Knights! EXCITING NEWS! Looks like we'll have a Super Otter from April to November, instead of the King Air! Sounds like exactly the way I pack my Spectre-! I load my Spectre 150 at about 1.3, the Sabre II will be loaded the same- Any idea how the two will differ in flight / flare characteristics? Anyone? Easy Does It

Don't know what our 182 record is, but out King Air record is 27 loads- I think we're tied with SDC- I can jump eery other load when the King is here, but since I do all my own packing,( and I'm still building up my speed)it's a strapping pace for me. Easy Does It

C-182, KingAir, Twin Otter, Casa, and Porter. Nothing special here- Easy Does It

We have a C-182 year-round, a King Air from spring till fall- (end of November) and bring in Ottters and Casas throughout the year. Easy Does It

I made about 75 jumps this year- (so far-) I've scrounged and sold all the scrap copper and stainless steel from the shop, and am accumulating more. I also ratholed money quite often. Taking out a signature loan for my rig saved me 20 bucks a jump, and probably helped me as far as my skills go, too. Over the winter I'll actually allow myself to take on some side jobs, but only if they'll pay well. (saving for new gear-) I would have liked to make at least 150 jumps this year- By September of next year I wnat to have at least 200 jumps in, my coach rating, and my D license Easy Does It
