nono no. the only requirement for #69 is that the jump must be done in some sort of 69 configuration. the collapsed compressed accordion works, a tube, head down/sit combo... endless possibilities. now the 100 #s... that is a naked occaision. a friend of mine did her 200th this weekend and the last point was a big round with her and the vid in the middle... we'll leave it at that. =c) too bad we didn't get to that point... I also have had no problems with atair/cobalt demos. I've demoed the canopy in two different sizes on two seperate occaisions. Dan himself talked to me at great length when I was debating over sizes to try, as it was one of the first high performance canopies I had ever tried. The canopy is new and a lot of people are trying to get ahold of demos now. Those who borrow may not return demos on time, things happen. Whenever you get your demo, be assured you will have a blast with it, as it's a great canopy and worth waiting to try out. Stacy http://astro.temple.edu/~sweeks

where else are you supposed to go for vacation? I didn't know there was anywhere else besides a drop zone... or a wind tunnel... Stacy http://astro.temple.edu/~sweeks

If I found 6 then there has to be something wrong with that test. Stacy http://astro.temple.edu/~sweeks

mine is 4way related of course... the best thing for me is when you exit as a group, exit is beautiful- start turning points on the hill with four people looking right at each other- and even though you can't talk to each other through a full face you can read each others' minds while cranking out the points. Like talking to each other without words. the worst? Besides injury I don' t think ther is anything negative. Negativity seems to ruin dives. It is always a bad thing when a packer gives you a step through or some annoyance like that, but if nothing like that ever happened, would half the stories you hear around the bar still exist? that is too funny, dave. I'm gonna print that out and post it in the women's room at the DZ. =c) Stacy http://astro.temple.edu/~sweeks

I've had a couple of double-total-mal nightmares. yuck! Stacy http://astro.temple.edu/~sweeks

If I'm forced to drink beer, or beer like substances that is- I prefer Bass or Newcastle. Chimay is my absolute favorite (A belgian brew). Liquor though... that just seems to cause trouble. Margaritas.... Sex on the Beach.... and of course the Cross Keys Signature Beverage- Joe D's Blue Balls. I smell trouble this weekend already... Stacy http://astro.temple.edu/~sweeks

that did happen, kev. Saw the student cutaway myself. HE was so proud too when he ran up to the hangar... Stacy http://astro.temple.edu/~sweeks

None of the new randoms involve head down. The block formations however do require that in some cases. Laugh if you want, but we DID get points for "Yuan Flake" in Delmarva. =c) Stacy http://astro.temple.edu/~sweeks

I recommend the labor day boogie @ CK honestly. CASAs, big ways, Sunpath demos, etc etc... should be a blast!!!! It was last year! Stacy http://astro.temple.edu/~sweeks

Thanks for the BD wish chippe- I mean Dave, happy belated to you, too!!! I"m spending the BD at the DZ with the teamies, jumping like crazy- nothing better for a birthday than a whole two days of 4way. Training again, uh oh!!! Capricious is all over Chambersburg, watch out!!! We may be in the same hotel as JS but I'm not sure. GO JETSTREAM!! (we are fully expecting you guys to create a Capricious cheer. It's only fair) Stacy http://astro.temple.edu/~sweeks

We have an instructor at Cross Keys who could swoop with the best of 'em. She's amazing, takes 16+ tandems a day, shoots incredible video, does AFF, and swoops like a pro. Go Ellen!!! And Grogs, lets keep my swoop pic quiet. =c) Stacy http://astro.temple.edu/~sweeks

damn, I'd love to... i have to work though!!! argh!!! mtnman- once you go to the tunnel you will understand why it's such a great learning tool... what you learn in 30 mins there is not comparable to 30 skydives... it's incredible! Stacy http://astro.temple.edu/~sweeks

definitely come check out cross keys. =c) 2 casa weekends coming up, labor day boogie and a PD/Sunpath Free 4 All. jump the steerman... didn't see ya when i was at delmarva (july 20-21), were you around? Stacy http://astro.temple.edu/~sweeks

I jumped the cobalt at about 1.4 and 1.5. The crossfire I have loaded at 1.5. (The cobalt was demoed in an almost 0 wind condition, and the crossfire was in a high wind day). Both flew beautifully and in my opinion fairly similarly- toggle input was similar. If you're demoing one of these I highly recommend looking up and watching the openings, as it's a little different than other canopies. I found the cobalt easier to pack, but the crossfire seemed to have slightly more forward glide. Didn't notice much diff in sinking out. Both were able to cover lots of ground in an instance of a long spot. I've never jumped a stilletto before, but I am going to try a jedei in the near future. Stacy http://astro.temple.edu/~sweeks

definite kudos to AtAir for the Cobalt. Beautiful openings- even with the way I pack!!!! I have no complaints about it at all after demoing it twice, 2 diff sizes at diff DZs.... just have to save up enough for my new rig and main... sigh. this sport is so expensive... =c) Stacy http://astro.temple.edu/~sweeks

KELLY!!! wait till you get some good vids. nothing will be sacred. =c) ANd the pilot chute- I wanted the instructor to see me pull!!! heehee.... Stacy http://astro.temple.edu/~sweeks
