    No games. Just saying a fetus is a human life. If you want to say it's ok to abort because it's not defined as a baby then I think that's rediculous. Now you're not even making sense. Pro-life means they don't want to end the human life inside a woman. Of course that supports their personal beliefs. And how have you gotten that? A human life is a human life. A fetus is a human life 20 minutes before it's born and it's a human life after it meets the definition of a baby.     What difference does the specific definition make if your view is that un-born babies aren't really babies? Your argument is that an egg is just an egg, an embryo is just an embryo, and a fetus is just a fetus. If none are babies then the difference between losing each of those is equal according to some in this discussion. Losing a "fetus" is like losing a "real baby" to those who have been through it (for those I knew, anyway). If you want to argue that an un-implanted egg is different than a fetus then I'll agree and we're back to discussing at what point a life is a life and ending it is wrong. -------------------------------------------------- Stay positive and love your life.

    It has been my experience that the less you have traveled, the more likely you are to hold extreme right wing views. The old saw about travel broadening ones experience. There are exceptions to this, of course. If you don't get out much, watch Faux news, and read from sources like newsmax, you might end up with extreme right wing views. A bit of travel and exposure to other cultures is an important part of a well rounded education. Ignorance is NOT bliss. Yes because traveling makes people left wingers.     The economy is in the shitter and continuing to sink. Companies are struggling just so stay afloat. Therefore, the current economic circumstances dictate the minimum wage should be reduced. This would lessen the burden on business and allow them to keep employees. Setting minimum wage to reflect the current economic condition is brilliant!     Do you have some specific decisions that indicate the court is far right? Rasmussen reported 33% believe it's too liberal, 23% believe too conservative, and 37% say it's about right. Again, do you have anything tangible to argue she's centrist or that the justices listed are extreme? That's quite a claim for someone who was literally the most liberal person in the Senate. Reality includes the world outside of your personal views. The reality is that he's one of the most liberal Presidents in history.     Um... No. As a percentage of GDP, we're around number 30 on the list. It's not a scoialist country. It has socialist concepts like a police department and military. Having public service organizations to protect and keep order is not an excuse to socialize everything. More directly than keeping them safe. Like what? Sending a check in the mail.     Yes, the planes that hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people watched hit the buildings was a massive right wing conspiracy. We're all ignorant for not asking the question, 'why did the government do this to us?' How dare we be comfortable thinking that someone outside of our country wanted us dead just because... How dare we never learn anything... This was all our fault... We're all dumbasses for thinking that this might have been an actual attack on our country and not a government conspiracy. I'm fairly certain nobody has claimed to know it all.     Cheney isn't boasting numbers. They are what they are regardless of what he thinks. Maybe. I would actually agree. That doesn't change the numbers, though. Name one law Cheney authored that labels him a tyrant. I don't care for him much, but you're just name calling for the sake of sounding off. If there is an attack attempt, it isn't Obama's fault. If there is a successful attack because of relaxed methods or policy then it will be Obama's fault. Cheney has no effect on either situation from his current position. Hypothetical leading to a hypothetical leads to your conclusion of treason. He didn't speak up until Obama released edited documents.     Freedom to be successful without being demonized and punished. No, we all don't. 40% don't at all. Unless you've been paying taxes your entire life. Then you have a right to medicare/medicaide and all the road driving you can handle. Which is a pretty realistic assumption if you look at the tax rates. Many recipients never paid a dime. It's actually not that far off and certainly not fear mongering. Google what percentage the top 1% of the country pays. Look up how many people actually pay for 50% of the tax burden. Being rich and greedy and selfish and not using your fortune to (willingly) help others is a universally bad thing.     Please show me in the bible where it specifically advocates a prefrence of helping those who can help themselves. Please show me where in the bibble where its writters emphasised social welfare over personal responsibility. There is a huge difference between helping those that are in need, that are helpless, who need defense... and the way things are administered in this country. There is a huge difference between offereing a hand up, which in my opinion is one of the concepts that Jesus stood for, and a system that promotes full dependence on government support.
