My guess is it isn't anything rods, screws, painkillers, a healthy bill and sitting out for 6 months won't fix. Different people have different methods of learning that work for them. Not everybody can learn the easier way; statistically some will prefer learning the hard way. Better be tough, cause the ground isn't soft. Byron and Lodi appear to be a stone's throw away from each other. So if there's ony a couple active birds at each, is it possible for both groups to have a collective flock party at either one? Afterall, I'm already driving in from Washington for flock's sake. I'm planning for the 17/18th. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. Anybody know which dropzones in Cali will have wingsuit events or plenty of birds around this month? Lodi probably will I would guess. I'm very much considering driving to SoCal and visiting a couple DZs on the way. Thanks. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. Excellent job. Makes me almost feel unappreciative of the great snow and hail jumping opportunities we currently have here in the Northwest.. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957

And tube stows also break, last longer, and cause less line wear for a reason. I have jumped and experimented enough to decide my personal preference is tubes on all stows.

So unfortunately they can't accomodate abnormal shoulder spans...I just ordered a new rig, so hope that isn't the case with my manufacturer.. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957

Interesting, could you perhaps post some photos of the steps, or drawings to better illustrate the process. If it's easier, I might have to stop buying tube stows. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957

Paragear offers one called the FreeZr, and I think people like it cause it has eyeglass room, and it's very well built. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957

Maybe jump pilots should affix tip jars next to the door? Or on the dash for those of us at small plane operations. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957

Wow, clever solution, and it worked like a charm! I have my profile data, and everything's numbered right. Thanks alot Brian. I will think twice next time I consider resetting my neptune logbook, and will anxiously await further software updates. -Tony "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. V 2.6.0 and I put a fresh battery in when that version was released, so the battery isn't more than 4 or 5 months old. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957

Well, I felt that once I had the profiles recorded in Paralog, there really wasnt anymore need to keep them on the neptune. There was also a jump from January 05 that was being added on each download, so I would have to manually delete it every time. I never figured out why, so deleting the book and starting over again seemed like a good idea. I figured it should be a simple thing, to do X jumps on the neptune, have them all downloaded, and then just restart the neptune logbook at 0. Well, apparently not, or I am missing something, so that's why I asked. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957

I figured they would just say it's a Paralog problem and talk to somebody else, but it's worth a shot. I don't see why the profiles wouldnt be there. Before deleting the logbook everything had been downloaded. It's not a big deal if I did somehow lose 3 profiles, but I want future profiles to be there. I wasn't able to get a clear solution to this from past threads, so here it goes. I have had no problems with my neptune, until I decided to clear out my logbook on the unit and start over. So now I have done 3 jumps on the neptune which first I couldnt get downloaded. So I updated my total jumps on the neptune to be the total on paralog plus the 3 new ones. That worked with it and got them in Paralog, but now those 3 don't have any profile data. How can I update those last 3 so they have the profile data? Thanks. When I voted I first thought you meant in freefall, but yeah fly-by's on the ground are also great, a necessary part of the day as well. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957

Nice suit... I like the logo on the tail. I should've asked about getting it on mine. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957

I think it's pretty lame how society takes everything that is good and has to turn it into something evil. I guess it's supposed to be entertaining or something, but doesn't sound that way to most of the respondants of this thread. The only litigation risk I see would be a rigger somehow injuring himself with your tools (ya know, running with scissors or something like that). The certificated portion of the rig is the rigger's responsibility, not yours. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957

You could also try cutting the top half the the pipe handle off to make it a half-pipe handle. Very minimalist, with no finger-snagness. Just a thought. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957

And hopefully that leg is doing better, you might need it on the landings. Must be strange flying a suit and not knowing where one of your legs is... "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957

But of course!! at first i was thinking foosball, but air hockey for sure! It would be a piece of cake. Existing equipment could be used, no need for anything new. That's awesome, I'm surprised it seemed so impossible. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957

He just reviewed the video in a program, and took a snapshot of that particular frame, usually the one producing the best quality at about that moment in time. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
