  1. What?? Didn't you mean to say WS suit first, then *FF* suit next ??
  2. Base price of a Matter Matrix is $426 (no wings, no options at all, just a regular suit). That's why I asked if the quality is that far superior to other suits, if it's worth paying an extra 200 or so. So you would never go back to flying with any other suit? or if you had to you would feel disadvantaged? I'm trying to weigh this out in order to make the investment decision for myself to know how long I will have to save up for a FF suit, but don't have flight time in lots of different suits to compare firsthand. 3. Only thing that's annoying me is people are referring to their handle as a PUD, when they really mean BOC method with a freefly handle. PUD is not the name of a handle, it's the name of a deployment method, just like you wouldn't say 'uh, yeah, im using the BOC handle on my rig now, it's alot better'. Handle has nothing to do with deployment method, theyre 2 separate animals, and PUD method is highly discouraged for WS. Sorry, had to get that out after seeing so many posts where this was done. 4. what about WRW, a little more difficult than RW?. Now that the Acro with leg grips will be out soon, it would be interesting. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  5. No shit. Those things are evil, I tell you, evil! You can see the other ones thinking about it too, like 'there's more of us than her, come on, we can take her.' Also, I think they can smell fear. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  6. I'll guess western diamondback, even though we can't really see the face. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  7. The only thing that gets me is... how do you bring yourself to invest that much dough... I could almost buy a wingsuit for that much. Are they really that much better than everything else out there? "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  8. IMO and nothing else, if you don't understand that concretely and crystal clear then you are in over your head. Close calls tend to show that, at least for me that's what did it. Basically if you're going to play you'd better be ready to pay. And that's why it's not for everybody and I don't ever flat out unconditionally recommend this sport to newbies, because they don't know if they're up to it. 10. It only has elastic at the mouth, so along the rest of the length the PC material spreads out and is not under pressure from any elastic trying to squeeze it out. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  11. I put a Wings cordura pouch on my Dolphin. The only difference other than more durability is the elastic is only at the mouth, and not throughout the length. Lasts longer and costs about the same. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957

Well sure if everyone would remember that its about skydiving! Imagine the possibilities if people would celebrate the differences and just get out there and fly together all the while having fun! Gee..what a novel concept
  13. Well there's the problem there. You went for it with a bunch of alcohol sittin in your stomache, had you been working on a very empty stomache you might've gotten closer, who knows!
  14. Well, I don't know much about physiology, but I'm guessing the normal stomache might at very best hold a half gallon. So half gallon in half an hour might be doable, but for the whole gallon there's no way to digest it fast enough to make room for the other half. Didn't anybody ever think of this before trying it, or the fun of trying it just outweighed thinking about it?

Don't think 'smoke' is an uncertain term. Doesn't it mean leave behind in the dust, so bad even visual contact is lost? it's clearcut, right? I like the picture, very nice inflation, can see my house from there... hope his right foot turned out okay, looks like that hurts. 16. So, then, if you use an RSL you're trying your luck that you won't have an entanglement, correct? "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  17. Shipping start is a few weeks away, but production started this week. (according to the latest news on here) And it seems like the days are just dragging by like molasses. Maybe it's kinda like the watched pot never boils thing (or takes longer to boil). "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. 18. I think it might be because pg 147 of the SIM recommends leaving 24" (2 ft.) of unstowed line. I personally use roughly 12" to 24" of unstowed line. Perhaps that is misleading people? 19. "Justice is the constant and perpetual will to allot to every man his due." -Domitus Ulpian Ideally, justice should prevail; give them what they deserve (if you can). That's my vote, speaking of, you shouldve made this thread a poll. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
  20. So you would have to first send it to the fabric manufacturer for a recoat (if they do that), then send it to PD or a rigger/owner for the lineset. It's seems too good to be true to get free ZP canopy fabric replacement with installment of a new lineset, doesn t it ?? that one canopy would last forever, literally. 21. Will PD take a used canopy and recalendar/reslipperize it? If so you could essentially rebuild an old canopy like new with a new lineset and coating. "The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it. " -John Galt from Atlas Shrugged, 1957
