Your profile is relatively blank, and I'm interested only in what country and possibly what region of that country. Your DZ if you're willing to share? 2. Who did you work with to get into jumping camera? What qualifications did they have? What training did you do? Etc. 3. Has anyone sat you down to talk about this? Anyone?     Being a good liberal, I don't think it should be that extreme. Castration might be a good option, though ... There was some speculation on a local news report that he might not be "all there" mentally. Maybe a Psychological Evaluation or a short stay in Psyc. Ward would be more appropriate.     And, one other thought... In his defense, perhaps one of those broken lines was wrapped around his camera?? And, he may not have had a cutaway system?? This may explain why he never looked up (unable to) to check the canopy and would be a reason not to cutaway? It would be really nice to hear from him on this.     3way w/Camera is definately a possibility...... (guy with go pro) "Hey guys, I got this new camera. I think, for my first camera jump, I'd like to tag along and film your 3 way." (inexperienced 3 way) "Cool, none of us have any video of ourselves yet." Another thought... (just throwing out ideas here) It looks pretty wet.     Another scenario along this line... A cutaway canopy or free-bag drift into a farmer’s corn field. Before tramping thru the corn, ask for permission from the landowner. Tell them what you’re looking for and explain that you want to find it and carefully remove it from their field before their Combine finds it. “We’d hate to see any damage to your equipment because our/my equipment inadvertently drifted into your corn field”.     And... if your gear ever gets stolen, I bet you'd be happy to have a copy of your pack card? Seems to me the positives outweigh the negatives.
