  1. Oh Please..... 3 big lies I have seen on MSNBC. They planted a ringer in a tea party rally to make them look racist. They did this after the reporter that went in and said everyone was racist was confronted. My personal favorite was the close up of the cop at a tea party rally so all you could see was the gun, so they could say they were all gun toten extremists. By the way, the cop was black. If you saw the whole clip that john stewart played last night, you would see that he blamed Bush for the tax increase. Basically he said taxes are going to go up on everyone and he was not going to extend the tax breaks, so the tax increases are Bushes fault!!! Yes, Hannity took a small sound bite, but he wasn't that far off the mark. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 2. I don't think the Scientologists would care. To burn it you first have to go out and buy a copy. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything
  3. There is also the 6 years of college and 100's of thousands of dollars in college loans to get a $30,000 a year teaching job. Some things have got to change. 4. At least the tea party is policing it's own. More than I can say about other groups. (Acorn, NAACP) There needs to be a lot more self policing. It shows an organization cares about it's character and image. Now if political parties would start doing it. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 5. And how do you know he isn't burning the Quran to protest the Ground Zero Mosque? With rights come responsibilities. With actions come reactions. By Building the mosque he will be directly responsible for pissing off a lot of Americans who lost loved ones on 9/11. Not saying I support that, its just a fact waiting to happen. I don't give a shit why he's burning the book, the reaction will be the same whatever his motivation. And I personally don't give a shit about the reaction. As long as they insist on building the Mosque, I say burn the Quran. You don't piss all over my feelings and then expect me to give a rats ass about yours. As it has been stated over and over again in this thread, freedom of speech and actions have consequences. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 6. And women who wear short skirts and show lots of cleavage are directly responsible for their own rape. It's quaint how some people blame everybody and everything, except the actual criminals who kill people. +1 "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 7. So.... If a muslim burns a bible and it pisses me off and I start to go whack muslims, who should get arrested? Me? Or the guy who burned the bible? 8. I wish we could get all of them together... put them on C-17's and let them out for their Quran roast in downtown KANDAHAR Sounds like a great plan!!!! While they are having the Quran roast, we can place snipers around the area with .50 cals and pick off the radicals as they are funneled into the kill zone!!! Like baiting a trap!!! 10. I'd rather our money not be spent on corporate welfare, but it's a more complex issue than simply my wishes. You are correct when you say that she ranks her own private aircraft. Your argument falls apart when you say she ranks a 757. A Gulf stream III is just fine. Are you really going to try to tell me that she is in danger when she stops at an Air Force base to refuel? WHY would she have to refuel? I forgot, the democrats have aircraft powered by unicorn tears courtesy of Al gore "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 12. Well, the Quran hasn't even been burnt yet and this is how they are already reacting in kabul: http://abcnews.go.com/WN/Afghanistan/burn-quran-day-sparks-protests-afghanistan-petraeus-endanger/story?id=11569820 So if they can burn the American flag in the Streets of Kabul, and a Quran hasn't been burnt yet, why can't we burn the Quran? Is only America allowed to be disrespected and protested? "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." 13. Ive read both threads and neither address a round static line counting for a recurrency jump. Anyone know? It's happened to me many a times. Deployed for a long time. Come back, do a few military S/L jumps, head to the local drop zone to remember that jumping is supposed to be fun.... "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 14. This is really the biggest problem I have with the death penalty right now. Yes I am for the death penalty. However, it should only be applied in cases where there is irrefutable evidence. A lot of people get convicted on overwhelming circumstantial evidence. Circumstantial evidence should negate the death penalty. As is sits right now, once you are found guilty, you are guilty and that's it. That phase of the trial is done. I think that the evidence should weigh in on the punishment. As it sits right now, because the appeal process for the death penalty is so lengthy, I feel the death penalty is still OK. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 15. And we have a winner. Al Sharpton has no interest in fixing the problem. If he fixed it he would no longer have a trumpet to sound to get himself attention and donations. It's been well established that the black youth has glorified the thugs life and the hip-hop culture based on prison. If the inner cities youth were given a choice between being a successful business man or being a successful drug dealer, they would pick drug dealer. The life style more closely resembles what they see on MTV. The black community needs to focus on good moral values in their youth. America has changed enough in the last 100 years that if a young black man stays in school he will have opportunity, despite what the left might say. But that will never happen, because that would mean taking a little responsibility for their own lives rather than blame someone else. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 16. So sharia law, which is supposedly based on the Koran, doesn't call for the stoning to death of a woman who commits adultery? Yes other cultures may do it, but it doesn't change the fact that it isn't taught as OK under sharia law, which is religion based. All you have said is other people do it too. 17. Excuse me, what? Muslim immigrants cannot legally beat or kill their wives in America or any other western nation. There is no way to circumvent murder laws. You are right. It is not legal. But that hasn't stopped the honor killings in the US, and where sharia law has been allowed in the European Union, honor killings are on the rise, like in France. If sharia law is allowed in the US, more Muslim men will claim its their right. Lawyers will kick these cases out of our courts and defer them to sharia courts. Just like in post 6 of this thread, we already have bleeding heart liberal activist judges that are willing to over look this stuff. What happens when the woman isn't able to get or afford an appeal? 18. She might be better of using SC as her emotional garbage can... As if she doesn't already. I'm just really surprised she posted this. In another thread she said that immigrants coming to America should assimilate to our standards of acceptance, peace, and such. Extremist Muslims have been using sharia law as a part of their culture as a foot hold to circumvent that, so they can beat and kill their wives legally. I didn't think that would be something she would try to defend. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." 19. COOL..I was wondering which group it would be that we were going to be told we needed to hate today. I was wondering who would be the first to respond without even have watched it! (I won my bet) What s wrong..... no black panthers out to get us all today So are you for women being stoned to death for adultery or honor killings of women if they are seen with men who are not there husband/ brother/ father? You know, under sharia law, a woman has to have 2 male witnesses testify on her behalf to convict her rapist, or she could be subjected to said honor killing, or maybe stoned to death if she is married. Imagine being raped and then stoned to death because there wasn't 2 other men watching you being raped. Welcome to sharia law. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 20. I'm going to borrow one of your replies to lawrocket in the ground zero mosque thread- So as you would say- Sounds like they aren't even willing to compromise and move the Mosque - yet liberals everywhere insist that Americans bend over backwards to accommodate THEIR desire for mosques in places where children have been murdered by Muslim terrosists. 21. Just to touch on this... So basically either God was wrong or Jesus was? Or God made a mistake? Which apparently he doesn't do. Does Jesus outrank God? Since the one is portrayed as a sadistic, jealous hatemonger while the other is a hippie. And you either have to follow ones teaching or the other's if you think logically, as they contradict in many parts. Unless you want to use typical Christian logic and suggest that one can pick which parts of what God said should be omitted and what should stay. No wonder God let his only son die on a cross, he came down here and started outranking and contradicting him. How do you know god wasn't trying to do the "Scared Straight" thing? If you ever coached a team you know you always come on strong to get them into shape before you ease off. If you start easy you are setting your team up for failure. Once they have had a tall glass of "act right" things usually go smoothly after that. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. 22. These are the words of Jesus, his word was edited out of most of the Bible but seems the Romans forgot about this bit. I'm not a bible scholar, but I was always under the impression that the division he was talking about was going to be crated by his teachings. He knew that the new testament wasn't going to be excepted by some, and indeed, he was crucified by the Jews for it. Some would except the love and forgiveness that he brought and others would reject it. And to those that reject him, he didn't say "death to the infidels" he said love thy neighbor. 23. Ya, I guess if my party was in the headlines quite a bit for corruption charges right now I would start a smear campaign to try to drag my opponents into the dumpster with me also. As the election draws closer, I would expect to see a lot more of this. Blame Bush, blame Bush, blame Bush, blame Bush, blame Bush. Kinda rolls off the tongue with a little practice, does it not? 24. If a girl walks up to you in an adult store, it's sexy. If a guy does it, he is obviously just a dirty creepy old perv. Is it fair? No. It's just the rules. Dubai

When there in 2006 I jumped at the Umm Al Quwain Aeroclub. The DZ was right next to a world class water park and Yamaha sponsored professional grade motocross course where you can rent bikes. The view as it was next to the North Arabian sea on the ride to altittude wasn't bad either. I would definitely call to make sure they are still up and running before making the drive though. They are about an hour outside of Dubai. There info on the DZ.com Locator- http://www.dropzone.com/dropzone/Detailed/531.shtml Keep in mind, in the middle east there weekend is Thursday and Friday. You won't get any help during those days. Good Luck. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss."
