You???? A SERE school instructor? That explains a lot. Having been through SERE and having a few friends that taught there, well.... Let's just say it explains a lot and leave it at that. I know you won't take it personally when I say you are one sick puppy. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. I looked at the list of 10 and I asked myself, what does this have to do with the spirit of the Tea Party movement? I have never heard any of these points discussed in my social environment. Where do you meet these people? Left-wing liberals simply do not have a clue as to the motivation of the conservative patriots. Stand-by, if all goes according to the hoped for plan to redirect our nation, the fog will lift and the picture will become more clear. Not to mention that they refer to us as "Tea Baggers" through the whole article. Clearly no bias there. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. Perhaps you should prepare on your own.. and not expect the nanny state Homeland Security to take care of you. I thought you boys were the ones whoare always spouting that self reliance schtick were you are supposed to be all about responsibility and pulling yourselves up by your bootstrings. I thoght that is what your crowd counts on...Mine, we take care of ourselves.... My crowd is as a former military SERE instructor and lifelong outdoors person who can procure whatever food I need after all the rest of you suckers are long dead kinda person .. wanna bet on who is ready for any disaster there bubba??? Poor, poor, typical liberal. While you are relying on someone else (your SERE instructor friend) to provide for you, I will be providing for my self..... You are one hundred percent right. But that's not Brown either. He will rubber stamp all special interests spending bills that come out of the California congress. He, like the rest of the California Legislature, haven't met a handout they didn't like. At least with Meg Whitman, the congress would have been locked up a little more until a good candidate came along. I honestly likes Arnold. He tried, but you can't soar with the eagles when your tied to turkeys. I will never forget this: http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/10/28/did-schwarzenegger-say-fk-you-to-legislature/ "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. And why not? You started out your thread with "Tea Bagger." Once again I have to ask, do you know what it means to be tea bagged? In all my posts I have never started any thing out with "hey left wing fuck-twat." Well, I guess it's better to be the tea bagger than the tea baggee... It's what happened when the far left adopted "Rules for Radicals." When politicians started saying that the ends justify the means and that morals are for those that can afford them, this is what you get. I am all for congress's strict adherence to Robert's Rules of Order. Our founding fathers new that politics was an ugly business. The pomp and circumstance is needed to keep things civil. There should also be guidelines outside the congressional chambers for the ads they run. There is a fine line between free speech and slander. What do you think? Or will you attack my spelling and grammar and not engage in a discussion? "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. I liked the response. "It's garbled and out of context." They are giving the typical excuses. Face it, they are busted. I also liked one of the comments posted on the page: Do I think lying reporters are worse than sex offenders? No, but it's close As for the owners of the station and who they back, who gives a fuck? They are not disciplining this reporter. Business goes on as usual. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Will California Liberals be to stoned to vote Nov 2nd?
jgoose71 replied to jgoose71's topic in Speakers Corner
So if your are liberal and I call you a liberal it's an insult? Munchies is a bad word? What is the politically correct word for "Stoner?" A Marijuanian American? I think the words I chose were a lot more PC than the "tea bagger" term that is usually applied to me. Do you know what it means to "tea bag" someone? So I forgot an "e". Lets argue about that instead of the issue. I know that is what Saul Alinski wants you to do, but do you really need to apply that to this topic? "So if your are liberal and..." Why should anyone take seriously anything you write, when you demonstrate repeatedly that you can't even write a simple sentence in English. May I redirect you to the last 3 sentences of my last post. Read it as many times as necessary to get the meaning. I know you are a professor and have great abilities in spelling and grammar, now lets try comprehension. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. Why did Alaska recriminalize pot? it was a 16-2 vote. What failed? Pot was made illegal again when a bill made it on to the state senate floor to legalize cocaine. One of the arguments to legalize cocaine was "well, pots legal." The right to legally have 2 plants or five ounces in your possession for personal use was revisited. That was the same year I joined the navy and left..... "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Actually it looks like the Red State HEARTLAND is far more stoned. http://www.fox2now.com/news/ktvi-meth-numbers-020410,0,897774.story That was Meth. We are talking Marijuana. I think California, Oregon, and Washington state hold the most stoners. They do have medical marijuana. He is the break down: http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2010-04-20/americas-40-highest-cities/ Although, Alaska was the only state in recent history to have pot actually legal. 1972 to 1989. I found this interesting- And I thought the Tea Party was based on the bigoted hatred of a black man. Glad to see the news media is honest and on it. Are you too stoned to spell? Ahhh, the spelling Nazis are out in force tonight. No, I didn't spell check, yes, I threw the post up between teenage trick-or-treaters. Sue me. You get the main idea of the post. The prop 19 thing came to me after listening to the stoner laughs of people who might be a little old to be going door to door. Never mind the talk about republican enthusiasm or the liberal get out the vote efforts. In California prop 19 is on the ballot. Do you think the people who would vote for this will be able to ignore the munchies long enough to make it to the poles? "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. I like it. I think this is the most accurate description of our government yet. Time to get rid of the ruling class. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Life, the Universe, and Everything

So a quick recap of the last 7 posts..... Foreigners donated so much to Obama that he broke the law and had to give it back. Foreigners haven't donated enough to the Chamber of Commerce to be considered illegal yet. Now I know why the left is so mad. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. I agree with you. People need to be held accountable for their words and actions. People should use some discretionand not just flagrantly do or say things. I think, this whole thing boils down to respect for your fellow man and treating others the way we want to be treated. Calling someone a derogatory name just because one has some ammendment to back him up, could, like you said, find his teeth rolling down the street like Chiclets. Chuck I think the point is being missed. To fix a problem you have to first identify it. It was the ideology of the muslim extremeists that caused 9/11. To not be able to state that Muslim extremists caused the problem is burying your head in the sand. That Muslim extremists did this may cause problem for the moderate Muslims must be recognized. I know that is what Juan was saying. To not recognize these problems due to political correctness is asinine. This is where the left is failing. Juan Williams is not a bigot. The people at NPR just wanted him gone because he is a Fox news contributor. His full statement in context is valid. He said that when he gets on an airplane and there are people on there that identify them selves as Muslims first and foremost that he gets nervous. He also went on to say that is the reality of living in a post 9/11 America. He can admit that. He also went on to say that even though we may feel these fears, we need to be careful not to let them control us and not let them cloud our judgment and unfairly target or discriminate against all Muslims for the actions of a few extremists. This is not politically correct, but to me and to many Americans it is the truth. Here is Juan talking about it: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2010/10/21/juan_williams_npr_fired_him_for_making_bigoted_statement.html NPR has since come out saying that they fired him because he wasn't being an objective reporter and was giving "opinion." A quick google search will show lots of "objective" reporting slamming Fox news, many republicans, conservatives, Christians, and lets not forget the ever popular "How to speak tea-bag" video.... Can you say "hypocrite?" Sen. Jim Demint is now sponsoring a bill to pull all public funding for NPR. Hopefully it will include their parent company, the corporation for public broadcasting, as well. I remember reading in "The Hitch Hiker's guide to the Galaxy" that the trick to flying is throwing your self at the ground..... and missing. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. They have UAVs - There is a National Guard - There are options that are not being taken. I guess we could stop using money to sue individual states and put that money toward enforcing the crimes. If the military was given a green light to, they could target the drug runners via UAVs. Blow a bunch of these assholes up, and I bet that would cut down on the illegal traffic a good bunch because of the fear of getting blown up. But it aint gonna happen. No, it's not. Things like target identification, and possible misidentification kinda put a crimp in that idea. Posse Commitatus (sp?) clearly prevents the military from taking action inside the US. Again, the AZ desert isn't the same as the Pak/Afghan border. It isn't a war zone and the ROE are totally different. Look at the case of the CBP officer who shot the rock thrower. Rocks can be considered "deadly force" and he still got crucified in the press. Blow up a group of drug runners (accurately identifying them) and the ACLU, among others, will be all over the "judge, jury and executioner" aspect of it. Using deadly force against someone walking across the desert isn't going to go over really well. Blow up a bunch of women and kids and it would be a total fuckfest. Why do they got to blow shit up? UAV's have great optics for spying on shit. They could report locatios of illeagal crossings to the border patrol and highly increase their effectivness. To offset the costs of the UAV's I say ground Pelosi's aircraft. I think we would actually make money and have a way more secure border. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. Don't worry, if you hadn't posted the link, billvon would have said something about a quote without proper credit. It's what democrats do. They can't fight the content so they attack the presenter or method of delivery. They think the general public is stooopid and won't know the difference. DUH after clicking on that cesspool a few times.. I felt very soiled and despoiled You??? Soiled and despoiled by Michelle Malkin? seriously? May I redirect you to the .jpeg you attached to post 8 of this thread? You would think I would have learned my lesson about clicking on any of Amazons attachments. It's like a train wreck. While I understand your opinion.... My question was real. Lefties love to claim that any voting issue is due to the right wingers trying to rig an election. So where are they now? Where is the rage? The Green party generally gets a lot of votes from the left. They are like an alternative Democratic party. The tea party learned not to branch off from the republicans by watching what a strong green party candidate will do to the democratic vote. Anything that keeps that helps the democrats win will not be contested by the left. "There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying.
