    I have never suggested public health care, or a public health option. I agree with basically everything you have said. All I am saying, is that you can't put a price on the work a surgeon does. If he fucks up, you die. You will do anything you can to prevent this, even if the cost was infinity. If your mechanic tells you it will cost 100k to fix your car, you would just get a new car. This is not an option with a human life.

    So, this doctor had you working on something that required many years of experience to weld properly?? Also, the cost of med school alone would buy an entire shop full of welders. The fact that you increased your cost for someone, ENTIRELY out of spite, speaks volumes about you.

    I love welding, and there are some very special jobs out there that you need a VERY skilled welder for, ie repair work for the space program, etc etc. But the time required to learn how to weld is on average only a tiny fraction of what it takes on average to become a surgeon. Lets compare. You weld something that belongs to your doctor, which is valued at 10 million dollars. You charge 20 thousand an hour. Your doctor performs surgery on you, who is valued at infinity, and charges you the same rate. You get the better deal compared to him. If you really tried to charge your doctor the same price he charged you, then you were acting like a fucking asshole, and should move to a communist country. But then, anyone there who deserves a high salary probably moved already.

    20 years ago, the NHL was 80% Canadian and 10 percent American. Now, it is 51% Canadian, and 17% American. The rest being European. I had only recently learned about the Dems and KKK thing, I was surprised as fuck! You always see people comparing hick rednecks to the KKK, and it is easy to think that right wingers are more racist (keep things the way they were, ie slavery, etc etc) while dems push for equality.

    Lots of times people will do things as a bargaining chip, in order to get something they want. IE Republicans making new gun laws, etc etc. You can always find data that supports what you think........
