    I have tried a few IPAs that have much less balls than Sierra's Pale ale, for what it is worth. I do like Sierra pale ale, but it isn't my favorite beer. Just so you know, Sierra uses only Cascade hops in it's pale ale, which has a strong grape fruit taste, which might be why you are tasting what you are. Stone's use of Amarillo in it's SSRA might be why you get the maltiness, it is a pretty mild flavoring hop.

    I have an old friend that I recently reconnected with. He is almost completely paralized, he does have use of his fingers, and possibly some other movement but for the most part he is completely paralized. How realistic is it pursue a skydive for him? I am sure it would be one of the greatest things every for him, and I would like to do everything I can to make this work. I am in the SF bay area, are any DZs around better suited for things like this? I would be willing to drive long distance if needed. Hopefully some DZs that have done this sort of thing can be contacted for advice, and possibly be convinced to loan some specialized equipment if it is necessary (I am thinking a leg lifting device for landing). Anyways, please let me know if you have any tips to make this work, you would be helping to change someone's life. Thank you!!! Micah

    Yeah, that does make sense. Black IPA lets you know what it will taste like though, they usually thrown in just enough roast/patent/black malt to get the color they want, and that is all. Have you seen Lagunitas fusion? It is amazing! The strongest citrous taste I have ever tried in a beer. In other news.... My hops plants are starting to take off! Cascade is climbing faster than a 200 series King air at the moment

    Excellent choice. Give the sublimely self righteous a try too, it is sort of a black IPA. Very good! Amarillo hops bring a sort of tangerine taste.

    I have tried the Raging Bitch, it is very good. Flying dog has many great beers, their belgian tripel is also fantastic.

    SO many good beers! Deschutes Abyss is in my fridge right now, its a stout I think, but I still can't wait. Great brewery. Bill- I love both the 60 and 90 minute, have you been lucky enough to try the 120 minute? I really wanna get my hands on some. Whoever said Lagunitas, HELL YEAH!!! I like in the SF bay area, and tons of bars carry the IPA. It is a very good IPA.

    I want my mouth to pucker on the sweet, sweet flavor of alpha acid. I have recently had a lupulin threshold shift, and it seems the sky is the limit when it comes to IBUs. What is your favorite (double) IPA? Here is a quick list to get your gears turning (and my mouth drooling) 1. Stone-Ruination 2. Dogfish head-90 minute 3. Ballast Point-Sculpin IPA 4. Russian River-Pliney the Elder (I feel like the luckiest man alive to say, I have also tried the Younger. A+) 5. Ninkasi-Tricerahops Double IPA 6. Moylans-Moylander Double IPA 7. Sierra Nevada-Hoptopia 8. Lagunitas-Maximus These are just a few I can think of off hand. I know there are some hop heads out there.... Lay it on me!!

    Eh, to each his own. If I had an Argus I'd probably keep jumping it, because I'd rather do that then jump without an aad, or bite the $1200 needed to buy another aad and toss the argus. Taking a look at your aad screen is the least of your worries if you are pulling your main low enough to activate the aad.

    The first one could be small, except the small figure of the guy, which will limit the size. The second, has very gradual color changes, which cannot really be done in Tattoos (to my knowledge) they simple select an ink and do a section. I am sure that some blending is possible, but to the degree of the 2nd picture you have there, I am not sure. I would recommend looking at lots of tattoos, to get an idea of what is out there. This will help lots in selecting a design that is suitable. Also note, that there are many different artists out there, some may do fine with you bringing in an exact image of a certain style, others may not. Select an artist that has done work similar to what you want. Anyways, hope this has helped!
