Your age has a lot to do with it. I am about the same, and lots of friends just disappear for the reasons you listed. They get busy with real jobs and turn into cubical slaves etc etc. It happens. If they really are your friend, make an effort to hang out with them. Some of my best friends I don't see very often, hence I don't get burned out on them, and I am genuinely stoked to see them again. If skydiving makes you happy, keep doing it. As long as you make an effort to hang with people, no big deal.

You don't think it was a muzzle flash, projectile, and some kind of a red signal flash? There are fireworks compositions that cause an effect just like that one, strobe or glitter is what they are called.

Racer 5, a good IPA. If you like stone, be sure to try some of their other stuff. I love the Ruination (major hops) along with others, such as Sublimely self righteous ale. Tried Lucky Bastard the other day, also very good. My favorite IPA right now though, is Ballast Point Sculpin. Expensive, but amazing. I get notes of mango, exotic fruit, etc. Truly A+ in my book.
