    There is a flip side to the training thing. If you practice something so many times it becomes second nature, you will become complacent, and you won't be observing the situation like you would when you were less experienced. This is why jumpers who get out super low (aircraft emergency) ALWAYS go for their main, instead of reserve, even if they intend to go for the reserve. Someone who is less experienced doesn't have a main pull locked into their brain like people with 1000s of jumps do. Every time you do something and have a favorable result, you expect that same result more and more. If things change, you might fuck yourself, even if you KNOW what you need to do.

    They didn't drop him, Nabby's family hated it in Russia, so they moved back. If he is on top of his game, he can be OUTSTANDING. I just don't like his attitude, and his unpredictable performance.

    Check out a book called "Deep Survival". It deals with exactly what you are talking about, and as far as I know it is the only book of it's kind to do so. I am about 1/3 through it, it is some GREAT stuff.

    Yeah, how does that all work? I know the Blue Jackets signed Ben Eager, but we were able to get him "on waivers", even though they had already signed him. How does that make any sense?

    Yeah I heard about that. I knew he was coming back to the states, and figured he might turn up somewhere. I miss the guy, I really do. But it was his time to go, I think allot of people were tired of his attitude. Sharks picked up Ben Eager from the Hawks, this should be interesting!!

    Man, what really sucks dick is when someone kicks out just ONE of the lenses on a pair of very dark tinted goggles. It is like those 3d lenses..... hahaha

    Man o Man. Sharks vs Vancouver tonight was one HELLUVA game! We actually had a backup goalie from the local BC college, because none of ours could make it out after our backup goalie got hurt in practice. His first NHL game and he is already 1-0!!! hahaha. Sounds like the guy had a fun evening, even though he didn't play. 1-1 through overtime, with Sharks winning in shootout. So sweet!!!

    I am sure you mean loaded open carry. In California, you can open carry but it must be unloaded, and you better be prepared for some shit too hahaha. Are there any states which do not allow unloaded open carry? I don't see how this is possible really, I mean walking to your car from a gun shop would be considered open carry... I used to live in AZ, and open carry was semi-common, and CWPs were VERY easy to get a hold of. No special requirements like CA.

    Hahaha. I'd rather eat there than fast food any day. It is very reasonably priced as well. I have never had anything there that I would consider "bad" but maybe some things are on the bland side.

    Hollister has a landing area +420ft above the airport. I simply set my altitude correction on startup (at the airport) and I am good to go. Another reason why it is CRITICAL to watch your aad start up, is that this offset is stored even if the unit is shut off and restarted. Going to another DZ and forgetting you entered in an offset last time is going to be a really bad thing. (I like this feature though, if you always jump at a DZ which needs an offset)

    Hahaha. I like pretending I am taking the X-15's high altitude flight profile and going straight up for as long as I can. The darkening sky is cool!

    Yeah, it does seem excessive. Some of the pressure change/acceleration rate stuff on them is overly sensitive on them as well. Don't know what to say!

    It isn't that hard to just check your AAD as you always do, and if you notice that it is on, to switch it off/on again. Even if you stay the night at the DZ, you would want to, to avoid the chance of it shutting off after you put the rig on (at 14hr time-out).
