It takes time and jumps to desensitize one's self after such an occurence. You "might" want to make some solo sunset HnP's or other easy no stress dives till you feel comfortable and confident again. I really hate hearing this. Please go find someone on your DZ, bring some beer after the beer light's on and ask for additional help. IT really is performance-oriented training best learned by observation and then by the numbers assistance. I am!!! As it happens, I'm moving to Florida the end of this month. I'm going to be locating our company down there. At the time the criteria for the SL/IAD course was developed, it was 100 jumps + at least 3 years in the sport. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

From a former DZO perspective, that would have cost them twice as much for half the tandem video - which would have been explained up-front. I'm not going to get into the whole handi-cam/vidiot debate. If I were to open a DZ again tomorrow, I'd have video folks.
