Yeehaw!!! Sounds like you had fun! The KingAir sounds like a nice quick ride to altitude... My ride up is always a C-182, which take us about 25 minutes. Anyway, welcome to the wonderful world of skydiving! When do you go up again?

6 minutes and counting to X-files...
-
How come so long, Priscilla?
-
And I've posted only once (ok - this makes twice) in the past week or two...
-
Now that's funny - people really watch that stuff on tv??? Ha!
-
You guys (and girls) are killin' me HA HA HA ...
-
Although I have never been there, it sounds like you are talking about "Skydive Nirvana" -- I mean "Skydive Arizona". Lots of folks around this website go/jump/live there... I'm sure somebody can provide better info than I can... Frank

That's funny! I had a strange cat on my sundeck one evening last summer, and when the cat saw me, it ran, leaped, and flew right off the railing in a perfect arch... ended up about 15 feet below in some bushes, and ran off. Wish I had that one on video... meow!

Attaboy, Jason!!! Sounds like you really had fun up there. Soon you'll look foward to the door opening up - getting out of the plane and into the air is something I always dig. Ain't this a wonderful sport?!! Frank
-
Yer getting soft in your old age, Jim - I mean FFF! Maybe our dropzones should impliment a policy where we get a free jump or two in honour of our birthdays!
-
Rodeochic - don't leave us! Can't you just change your username and password???
-
Holy global awareness, Batman! You remembered the rest of us!!! Cool... I think there's over 300 million in the USA now, isn't there??? Ya, we have discussed the DZ.com boogie thing before... I'm waiting for somebody to post pix from one of these events... let's see, 'Sis made it over to see Pammi and Merrick in Oklahoma, Froggie was at CSS, Stack and Grogs have been on the orad, FFF - man, he's EVERYWHERE! ... the folks in Europe are getting together soon... I was gonna meet Tee at the "Kamloops Meet", but she got wacked in her car, so that's probably not gonna happen - but we do need someone to put up some pix from these gatherings! Frank

Me too!!! I don't have a problem with a good healthy debate now and then. While my views may differ from yours, I would fight to the death to defend our freedom to have those views, and to freely express them! A diverse community is an interesting one. Frank

Good for you, Omri... was it everything you hoped for???
-
TripF, happy birthday to ya! Did ya jump nekid to celebrate?
-
You forgot tattoos and clit rings... we debated those, too! I'd rather that the world leaders financed an exercise where WE could all get together and jump...

It's the only system YOU have. My country wisely abolished Capital Punishment more than 25 years ago. Hey, this is fun - debating skydiving/capital punishemt in one thread, and skydiving/religion in another!

No random thought here! Cloud9 implied he does not believe in evolution, as indicated here: Ya, that pretty much sums up the Big Bang, the subsequent formation of our solar system, and the biology of evolution. When people use their "faith" to oppose sound scientific principles, that is pure ignorance. You like the science behind the design of your parachute, and the car you drive, but you mock, and insult a scientific principle that is one of the building blocks of biology. Sounds rather hypocritical to me ... no, my thoughts are clear and focused - they have to be if you're a skydiver!!!

I remember hearing a FJS say "Oh my god" when the door opened one time... Ya, it's called "evolution". And have you never heard of "transpermia"? Million of tons of rock and dust from other bodies in space, like Mars for example, rain down on the Earth over time. Perhaps life arrived on this planet the same way known Mars rock AH84001 did... but I can imagine that would be hard for some to believe. Don't those who believe in *Creation* believe man walked the earth with the dinosaurs 4000 years ago??? "Faith" seems to be a wonderful excuse for ignoring science...

Hey, Skreamer, how many J/Ts is that? For me, $40 gets me a jump ticket and 3 bucks change... soon, though, verrryyyy soon, I'll complete the final requirements for my B licence, and when I get that, a J/T will = $27. Better, but still too much... Hey! Lookit that -- I'm an old hand now... I wonder what's next???

Ya... well I'm pretty sure that if you took all those guns away from people in the US, you'd have a lot fewer than 30,000 people getting shot and killed every year, and a lot less desire for Capital Punishment... And yes, I think if someone did terrible things to my family, or something like Timothy McVeigh did, I'd want them dead, too. But my emotions would be outta control... that's why victims familys don't make those decisions. Personally, I don't believe we have the right to take the life of another, under any circumstances. But - if you want to talk about preventing murders and reducing crime, Americans need to get serious about gun control. Frank

Sounds like good clean fun to me, Jason! 3 jumps tomorrow?!? That's more than I usually get in... go for it!!! Frank

Party on, April! I'll gulp one on your behalf tonite! Frank
