When I was 18 I dated a 23 year old.... Now i don't really care...I am 29...and there is a college age jumper at my DZ that i think is totally cool...and there is a whuffo (almost) 40-year-old whom I think is a dream.....it is no longer about numbers and all about who these men are.... Anne

If anything, September 11 has made me skydive more....I have taken a hard look and life and how fragile and precious it is. I want to spend whatever remaining thime I have on this Earth living life to the fullest. And that would include skydiving. Despite the fact that I am still fighting my dad on the whold skydiving thing, it is worth any trouble to be able to fly free, if only for 60 seconds at a time. Anne

When I made my decision (to buy a Mirage) I asked owners of several rigs what they DIDN'T like about their containers. I spoke to loyal Vector 3, newer Jav and Mirage owners. I did not get to speak to VooDoo or Wings owners. The people I spoke to had fewer serious safety issues with the Mirage than the others, so that is what I went with. Plus they look cool as hell!! When I was a student i had to jump only on Saturdays, because the night after jumping I never could sleep...I would fall asleep and relive the jump. Wake up with a rush of adrenaline. Then I would dream about people bouncing right in front of me. It was awful. Thankfully I have outgrown this and am now able to get a full night's sleep after jumping. Anne
