I agree that Amy or Amie is not a bad name...it just doesn't happen to be mine.... SO....if you are addressing me, please call me ANNE. I like the name Anne....I also respond to Annie, Liz, Lizzie, Beth, Elizabeth, Strie, Strieb, Striebs, Dave, AJ, and a host of others I am sure.... JUST NOT TINA, CANOPYCUDDLER, OR AMY. I, too, would love to know people's wingloadings. I would rather tell you what my wingloading is than tell you the size of my canopy. So I don't really have to tell you my weight if I just give you the wingloading number (1.05) and tell you that I jump a Sabre.... Anne ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Brandon.... Like everyone here is saying....Keep them. The fact that you and Laura can't fall together tells me that you have some things left to learn in the RW discipline. Just an aside...there was a thin, floaty girl at my DZ who couldn't fall with the rest of us. She got some coaching form someone who really knows his stuff....Suddenly she can fall with the fastest of us as well as with those floaty people....quite a skill to have! Have fun! I think my favorite part might just have to be that once the main detached from him the announcer kept going on and on about how he was in a "death plunge." At the beginning they also said something to the effect of, "after only five hours of training....." he was put up for his AFF jump..... Gotta love them whuffos

Did anyone just catch this show? The first bit was on an AFF student whose main somehow detached at the three rings when he pulled... "Most people don't survive their parachte malfunctioning." WHAT???? After his canopy left, he tumbled for several seconds before he deployed his reserve on his back. Why didn't he have an RSL??? The right riser detached first, then the left, which should have pulled the reserve before he went all unstable! Anyone see all this?? Anne ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Here is my advice: Get a group of coworkers together for drinks after work one day. Include her. That was you can see her in a non-work setting without the pressure of one-on-one. Flirt with her....and see what happens..... best of luck! Anne ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Kris...fabulous reminder...... And remember that it isn't just your life..... We had an incident today where one PC popped out while two guys were in a sit together.....Mr. Premature's canopy passed inches from the other jumper face....that could have been really ugly! Take care of your gear for your own safety and for the safety of those who jump with you! Anne ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

412 : 1 : 0 412: Number of times at the DZ someone asked me where i have been.....ok..i hadn't jumped since rantoul....weather....wrist injury....medic with no rig...I might just have to be flattered that everyone noticed my absence! 1: Finally got my Cessna hop & pop.....it was a beautiful thing. I am not feeling well, sinus issues, so full altitude is out... BTW....have I told you guys how awesome my boyfriend is? Doesn't really fit the numbers thing, but I can't help it!!!

I haven't jumped since Rantoul.....weather and then the wrist injury.... I guess I will just HAVE to go make a couple jumps this weekend... All through Rantoul I was wishing for a 182 hop and pop.....I think that will be my first jump on Sunday...... Anne ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Jason, You are admitting to watching that drivel?? I would never make my boyfriend watch something he doesn't like....I might ask him to watch once with an open mind, and if he still hates it....well....just go do something else every week while I watch! On a totally different topic....the weirdest thing about skydiving for me is that I no longer watch football all day Sunday. For the past two seasons, I have felt like I don't know nearly as much about the other teams and players cuz I only see Monday night games.....weird! Blue skies, Anne ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!

Hey Michele.....Brian is right here....If landing on your feet were on of the requirements, I would have had 80 some odd jumps before I got my "A" license. Accuracy is about inital placement...not style and grace, thankfully!!!! anne ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!
