if ellipticals are more forgiving, then why doesn't every dropzone in the world use them for student mains? Anne

Please don't tell me you think these are the only two options out there...I jump at a dropzone that encourages low-timers to jump larger canopies (1.0-1.1) and then the instructors continuously help you learn to fly it. That way you build a set of skills that you an bring to a more aggressive canopy when the time is right. I would hate to learn how to fly a canopy on a highly loaded ellipitcal that is unforgiving to the mistakes that I shall surely make! Anne
