    For me, skydiving isn't sightseeing. I jump so I can challenge myself, and that doesn't often involve looking at the ground and going "ooh pretty". Occasionally, yes, but I'd rather do 6+ jumps a day year 'round than have lush scenery below. But hey, you jump in the UK. There has to be some upside .

    In Australia, welsching on a bet is very bad form. Yup. I love the NT, but it's a very long way from civilisation. The roadhouse at Humpty Doo is apparently damn odd. We were warned away from it by some locals. It's not a rule I'd come across before Oz, but it was explained to me before we started playing. Besides, it's the DZ; who gives a shite about nakedness?

    French toast is great, as long as there's no silly sweet stuff on it. Maybe bacon or mushrooms on the side though. Scrambled eggs with black pepper on Turkish toast is pretty damn tasty too.

    In the UK, Ireland, and Australia, knowing someone's bank details doesn't allow them to wtihdraw cash from your account - only to credit money to it. It'd be perfectly normal for a European to ask for your bank details so they could pay you.

    I took Brian's course last year when I had about 300 jumps. On the course were people from 30 jumps to 5000. Everyone I talked to learned a load, and if I had the opportunity, I'd take it again in a heartbeat.

    Depends on the DZ & instructors - at my DZ it's a minimum 200 jumps, with 100 in the last year, and explicit approval from both the TM and CI (~= DZO).
