  1. Some handy information. And yeah, patience. It ain't easy, but in time it'll come.
  2. This isn't AOL mate; there's no need for fifteen items of punctuation to denote a question .
  3. It's very obviously an early-access site. Most of the pages say that technical details will be forthcoming after the PIA symposium. So, I'd imaginge you could expect some more detail soon.

    I Got Banned

Both: (a)(2)(C) (a)(6)(A) I'm no lawyer, but that'd be my lay reading of the situation...

    I Got Banned

Whoops. If I've read the relevant statue correctly, that's a federal offense.
  6. If they're not trying to sell him something, why are they calling?
  7. iTunes is probably the best place for your downloading needs.
  8. 'Coz the beaches of Europe are dens of assault and rape .
  9. If you spend six months of the tax year in a given country you qualify as a resident there for tax purposes. So you wouldn't pay income tax in the USA. As for the job, you'd be mental to take it. The situation in Iraq is, in the near term, only going to get worse, especially for Americans. The election is probably going to cause instability and it's not particularly likely that any elected government is going to give a shit whether US civilians get killed or not. They'll be busy trying to avoid being assasinated themselves. 80k isn't a lot if you end up seriously injured and unable to work for a long time. And shouldn't losing your wife be more than reason enough to drop the idea .
  10. When you search for a term, then click on a search result, the searched-for term(s) are highlighted in the article. Would it be possible to have a "Click here to see this page without highlighting" link? Once I've determined that the page is indeed what I'm looking for, the highlights everywhere just irritate me. I know I can edit the URL to remove the search_string parameter, but most users aren't that technically savvy. Not the most important feature request ever filed, but it's an itch of mine that I'd like to see scratched
  11. If in the future you find you need more address protection, don't display the user's email address at all - replace it with an 'email this person' button/link. After filling out a form similar to a PM, dropzone.com sends an email to the desired recipient, with the Reply-To set to the email address of the message author. That way the recipient's email address is only disclosed if and when they reply to the original sender.
  12. This year? Act in a film, short or otherwise.
  13. There's a thread in Bonfire at the moment about Spring Break jumping, and it seems there's lots o' folks going to Dublin, GA for a boogie.
  14. Here's an Incidents thread about something similar.
  15. A percentage of the fee received, based on the amount of time your footage is on screen seems fair. That way there's no upfront cost to the producers, but advantage isn't taken of the video folk.
  16. I'm glad I'm an ocean away from the fallout of this one .
  17. Most airports will need modification to work with the A380 anyway. LAX are dragging their heels, which has led to Virgin Atlantic's delay on their A380 order. Melbourne, Australia is shutting their main runway in April for the necessary work.
  18. I take it she works for PD? Doing what?
  19. Words change their meaning over time, daddio . Today it's been stripped of many of its negative sex-industry connotations...
  20. Y'know, given that PAC don't make an aircraft called the 720, I'd guess that it was a typo .
