After you two have made mad wild crazy monkey love, be sure to tell him that I said hi, and that he's missing a couple of hundred cases of free and 90-100 degree weather in Sydney, okay?

Nice. Scary, but nice . Any photos or video for posterity?

That's a story I want to hear!

In the rest of the Western world, 'dance music' is the broad term, with house, trance, techno, etc. being specialisations...

While I find the US concept of pretty-much-mandatory tipping really rather odd, this is the kind of behaviour I'd like to encourage!

Note to most Americans: Techno is not dancey pop, or house, or anything vaguely dancey with a synthesized beat. Techno is hard, driving, minimalistic and has almost no melody or vocals (cf. Jeff Mills). I dunno where you lot picked up your overarchingly broad definition of what consitutes techno (please say it wasn't 2 Unlimited ), but it really irritates me .

Your Skydiving Goals for 2005?
bob.dino replied to Dumpster's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Sounds sensible. I wouldn't have wanted me around a tandem with 60-odd jumps... -
Are you channelling Frenchy?

Disclaimer: I've never been in a tunnel, and I've never met yourself or bodypilot.net. With that out of the way, I personally didn't see bp.net's post as an attack on Orlando's approach to training. While his phrasing may have been a little clumsy, the meaning I took was: "These listed tunnels are 99.9% whuffo and so necessarily have a different approach to Orlando, whose primary customer base is skydivers and wannabe skydivers."

Have you tried this? It might just help...

Cool site. My schoolboy French is, however, struggling .

I did a stupid downwinder a couple of weeks ago and was lucky not to hurt myself. If you asked me 30 seconds afterwards why I did it, I'd have had loads of excuses for ya. It took the two minute walk back to the buildings for me to admit to myself that I simply fucked up. It's hard sometimes to admit that you've been a fucking idiot. I don't pretend to understand why we as a species immediately try to avoid blame for our actions. Anyone got some insight?

Travman jumps at Picton in Australia. I'm not sure where the rule comes from; it's not mentioned in the APF Op Regs (the rules of the sport here). It may well be a DZ-specific rule; I plan on finding out, 'coz I don't fully understand the reasoning behind it...

Actually, the simplest solution is probably just to get Firefox and use it instead of AOL's internet browser . Even the NY Times agrees .

Congrats! Enjoy your new rig! [shitshitshitshit ] -
AOL's browser is based on Internet Explorer, so there will be an option to change the text size somewhere, quite probably in the View menu. Not having AOL, I'm afraid I can't be more specific.

You do acclimatise. I don't have data to hand, but folk who live high in the Andes typically have significantly larger lungs and hearts to cope with the altitude. Hunting down research related to soccer matches played in La Paz, Bolivia (c. 3500m above sea level) could provide some of the information you're looking for.

A mate of mine is discussing launching a ten-way-ton (1000kg ~= 2000lbs) from one of our Skyvans. That would be fun to watch. Interesting to see if the ten of them on the tailgate can stall the plane too .

True, but it does not a website make.
