  1. I just love the quote from the bunny pancake one. Makes me laugh everytime. I likee the non sequitur Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  2. To keep with the theme. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  3. Rookie was not responding to you. And I will back him up anyway. You don't want to get arrested for DUI. STOP DRINKING AND DRIVING. That is not preaching. Its simple fact. Plus, you post to a public thread where ANYONE has the right to respond. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  4. Linz, I honestly think that all skydivers can't be morally right in the abuse of gas in this world.... We cannot be morally right, no. But you can be damn sure I want the money and support being poured in by oil companies and tax payers (for subsidies to oil companies and premission for shit like this) to be used for LARGE SCALE research of alternative methods instead of the status quo. Now, I have no say for the oil companies, but the government...well, I SHOULD have a say anyway. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  5. Man, I know RoysPlayThing is a screen name, but come on, that just sounds funny. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  6. Man, do not even get me started when I add it all up. I have since bought a new container, main, and reserve as well well a pro-track and various other items Even not including gas to get to the DZ and food, it is outrageous for just my 2 and a half years. And totally worth it.
  7. Is he then guilty before proven innocent just because of the severance? That's the real question he's arguing, verses a statemnt that just having a previous connection automatically defines guilt of some sort. Absolutely not. But I think it swings either way. A former tie does not indicate wrongdoing, but a severence package does not indicate actual severed ties. Neither are very good arguments for good or wrongdoing. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  8. Cheney is being paid as part of a SEPARATION PACKAGE. If you've got an accusation to make, rather than innuendo, then make it and provide proof. Ya know, my fraternity alumni advisor just "retired" last year. Guess what? He still has influence and gets called on for advice. I am NOT saying Cheney IS in league, but if you think that a severence package means that all ties REALLY have been severed, well that is a little naive. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  9. God dammit. When are people going to realize that not everyone WANTS money to leave a place they have been for so long? "It is a compelling story, but it is not correct because we offered far and away more than what the land value was," said City of Oakland redevelopment director Dan Vanderpriem. He acts like THIS is a valid reason. Well, we tried to buy him off but for some reason he did not want money. And really, who does not want money? Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  10. Yes....1.5 million acres will no longer be available as a wildlife refuge. The purpose of a wildlife refuge is to shelter wildlife from the infringement of man. Man is now infringing...therefore, 1.5 million acres of wildlife refuge are lost. Enjoy your penny. Karma's a bitch. How can you say that? You are saying they will "destroy" 1.5 MILLION Acers???? Where is your proof? Have you seen the plan as to how this would be done? I have........ I don't think it is going ot "destroy" anything. I just think it is a big fucking waste of time. You think this is going to allieviate our oil problems? It's not. We could be focused on, and pouring money into, researching much better solutions. This is, like rehmwa said, an impotent gesture. Worthless. Totally worthless. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  11. 54% of Denver voters approved a measure to legalize possession for people over 21 yesterday. Is that a majority? The country dude. Not Denver. Colorado is right up there at the top of marijuan usage, so that is not suprising. And once again, I am FOR leagalization. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  12. If only. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  13. I haven't met you, but I'm libertarian, and I've never touched the stuff. I just don't get bitter at others who don't. Let em, so long as the keep the smoke outta my face. Don't get me wrong. I am all for the legalization, but it really should not be a selling point of your party and the ones I have met tend to use it as such. If I meet you, I can say different. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  14. I like the smell blue. Blue smells pretty. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  15. Chicks dig it. But children? They should stay away from the DZ. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

  18. I am pretty sure I could give Dan Brown or Guano or Anomaly or the Sugar Gliderz or name-any-kickass-freefly-person-here a trash bag to wear and they could still kick ass. Does a well fitting suit help? Yes. But will you be a badass while wearing one? Not unless you already are. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  19. am i the only one who thinks that base jumping is the dumbest, most irresponsible thing i can't wait to do? no. That would be having faith in our politicians/ OFF TO SPEAKER'S CORNER I GO!!! Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

  23. That is one of the neat things I have seen about skydiving...most people I have talked to will push their product but they don't usually bash another's (remember, I said MOST...that I have talked with ). They told me the pro's and con's of each. I think because we are such a small group, the clever people know they are not going to get good reps by just bashing everyone else. I mean Ankie just posted in another thread for someone to try out both a Vector and Wings before deciding. That is pretty cool. In anycase, the single best way: get a demo. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  24. What, does she wear shoes around her neck? That seems very bulky. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  25. uh, "Dogfellas"? ok, so I googled....so sue me! CHEATER!!!!!! Anyway, he gave my dad his cell number and house number and all that good stuff. And what I know, his daughter Amanda is going to make a documentary on abused animals and Paul wants to come to my parent's place and do an interview with my dad about horses and how they are mistreated after they are too old to race. I will have to be home that weekend I think.
