I understand. Still mad though. You weren't there when wingnut stepped on the huge wolf spider in the middle of the packing area a year or so ago..back when we had carpet. Well, that was a momma spider and she just happened to have about 1 TRILLION baby spiders on her back. And guess what went flying in every direction across the floor? That is incorrect. Yup. The figure I actually heard was that the oil companies, on average, are making about 9 cents on each dollar of oil sold. Compare that to McDonalds who make about 13.8 cents on each dollar and Coca-cola with a whopping 21.3 Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

Depends on how dense they are in calories. The one I was using would keep me going till my next meal (6 a day at least). Usually when I am lifting well, I am eating about 3500 calories a day and there is NO WAY I could eat that much solid food. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

I used to drink Meal Replacement shakes with my workout regime but I have started slacking with lifting. Now I want to get back into it, but the cost of MRP's are ludicrous. Does anyone have a recipe for a homemade meal replacement powder? I do not want any shake recipes; I got that handled. What I need is a good powder recipe so that I can take it with me and mix with milk or water whenever needed. I want to start with a whey protein base, but am not sure what else to add that would be cost effective. Alternatively, anyone know some good MRP's that are cheap? Don't feel bad. The photo is real. The ANGLE and DISTANCE of the shot is what makes the spider seem so big. Look at the spider in relation to the guys cuff on the right. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

If it is a memory card reader, that is cool, But bios can be set for CD-ROM booting these days. I do think the sound card is still overkill. You can get very good ones for much cheaper; Creative Audigy 2 ZS is still very viable and only 75 bux. I also doubt you could tell the difference unless you are using professionally recording music. But hey, I am not the one buying. Looks like a cool system. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

drop the floppy. Haven't had one on my PC for 5 years. I also agree with pilotdave on the soundcard. Motherboard sound can be QUITE good these days. It is not like a few years ago. I got dolby 5.1 and all that good stuff on my inboard sound. Here is a quote from Anandtech.com: "Even in the mid-range segment, we don't feel that an add-in sound card is a requirement. For most people, you would be hard pressed to notice a difference between integrated and discrete audio solutions. This is especially true if you're going to use a typical speaker configuration that costs less than $200. What we list here are strictly alternatives, and you might want to try the integrated audio before insisting on an add-in sound card. Half-Life 2 performance on a moderate system was virtually unchanged after upgrading from integrated audio to an Audigy 2 ZS, and to our ears, there was no major difference in sound quality." I say, go with the onboard sound from that motherboard, save the 277. If it sucks, buy a card. No harm, no foul and you may save some bank. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. But I think THIS is the most important quote: "Let's clear something up: Just because Alito voted to uphold this law doesn't necessarily mean he agreed with it, only that he concluded it was constitutional. In his dissent, he based this conclusion on a meticulous analysis of the standard set down by Sandra Day O'Connor to determine whether an abortion regulation imposed an ''undue burden" on the woman. He did not use his dissent as a platform to attack Roe v. Wade. Overall, Alito's record does not suggest that he is a zealot who would put ideology above the Constitution and judicial precedent." Correct or Incorrect Ruling In Your Opinion
GTAVercetti replied to rushmc's topic in Speakers Corner
You are arguing the wrong thing. They did not sue for being misinformed. They sued because they did not want schools to give ANY sex education information. Point of fact: The school dropped the survey over complaints from parents. The parents soldiered on with a fight, even when the spurning issue was resolved. Yes, the misinformation was the catalyst and was, in my opinion, stupid of the board to do, but the parents went and sued not over that but of the general idea of sex education....and got burned when the court upheld the law. Sucks to be them, but they fought the wrong fight. Hell, they fought the RIGHT fight, won, and then started ANOTHER fight. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing. -

So now we have two parties imploding - Yay, it's a great world. Maybe the political swings we'll be seeing in various countries around the world (including ours) could really mess up the entire future of the race. Which is, apparently, what quite a few want. Or maybe the implosion of the two dominant political ideologies will allow other ideas to come to the forefront. But apparently, you want to believe those who dislike either party also want the world to die. Or maybe, you shouldn't assume. And neither should I. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome.
