    No, i think if it is actually true, they will cover it. Oh and one other thing. I searched for cbsnews in this forum. I got EXACTLY FOUR hits, one of which was JohnRich saying they fucked up. So you can stop using that as the opposite of newsmax. And you think CNN is anywhere CLOSE to the opposite slant that newsmax is? Please. All I am saying is you seem to always post from exactly ONE source; usually items that people have a hard time reaffirming elsewhere -- even in conservative papers. If you are going to bother to post something that you WANT the doubters to read, get items that can be verified in multiple places. Otherwise, you are just posting to make yourself feel better.     I will see it, but probably on DVD cause I rarely go to movies. From the comercials, it seems like Phoenix got his voice pretty good. I am always interested in the story behind singers and movie stars , movers and shakers and all that. Its part of history. ...that Ray Charles guy. yup, just some random guy.     I hadn't realized SK wrote the story.... well I hadn't kept up with his books after the mid 90's... It is a great movie. I wonder if they will ever make a movie series out of the Dark Tower books, a-la Lord Of The Rings Trilogy? A 7 series movie of books that do not have the popularity of Harry Potter? Doubt it. Onyl in mini series form and that would be teh suck Shawshank was written as a novella in 1982 and included in Different Seasons....called Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption. Billboards are fun and you can change the message to all sorts of things Yeah, back in college, me and my friend wanted to get a billboard on the highway: It would be bookended by our smiling faces with a thumb up from either of us.     You don;t drink keg beer? Well, how do you drink your Guiness then?! seriously though, do you ever go to a microbrew? They usually serve that from a keg, not a bottle. In anycase, skymama...buy a bunch of cases with a selection of different beers...or just get a quarter keg (not the usual half) and a couple of cases for variety.     I tried to avoid mentioning the ending to DT...others may have alluded more forcefully, but i don't think it was ever spelled out entirely. There is still alot going on at the end that was not mentioned. Eye of the Dragon is written like a fairy tale and those type of endings were never the greatest but I think its ending was a little better than most(fairy tales).     What? This whole brew ha ha is from just that. McCain proposed a bill against torture of US held prisoners (it also passed in the Senate by the way). THAT prompted Cheney to lobby for the exemption. But what I find funny, is the threat of veto. Bush has not vetoed a bill in FIVE YEARS yet THIS is what he wants to start with? A ban on torture? Not defending kallend's stance, but where does this idea that everyone has to have the same ideas day in and day out? It seems we never want anyone to change...ever. This is exactly my point and what I was calling out on. Here's another, when did 20/20 hindsight (yet still with bias) become the standing tactic in today's debate world? I am not really sure what you mean. Are you calling out that kallend has changed opinion or that it is okay for the government to change its opinion or that coke is better than pepsi? In other words, what the hell are you talking about?

I certainly know that I thought different about varying topics a year ago. new info, new perspectives, new ideas have all changed my view. We really need to get out of the idea that changing your opinion is a bad thing. It is not always true. Its when you change RAPIDLY back and forth that a problem exists. How can you NOT see the inconsistency between saying, "I don't condone breaking the rules" and saying, "He was trying to give some balance and the libs went nuts" is beyond me.
