  1. A few years ago, I would say yes. When motherboards and modems had a bunch of tiny jumpers everywhere and you could plug the power into the motherboard backwards (and fry the machine), but these days? Easy. Very few jumpers, if any. A good motherboard will have a manual that makes it easy to understand. My last board allowed the plug to only go in one way. There are plenty of internet sites for help to. Give google a whirl. 2. On the other hand, Kansas and ID: "In addition, the board rewrote the definition of science, so that it is no longer limited to the search for natural explanations of phenomena." source: http://www.guardian.co.uk/worldlatest/story/0,1280,-5401577,00.html Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. 3. 8 of the 9 Dover school board members who voted for ID in the classroom were up for re-election. All 8 (Republicans) lost the election (to Democrats). I guess parents really do care about education. That is awesome. Here is a link to each candidates ideas on ID: http://www.yorkdispatch.com/local/ci_3171822 Note that the former members all simply support it and that it is supported by "many" scientists. The now elected candidates mostly say that ID SHOULD be taight as well, but in history or comparitive religion. "During the trial it emerged that one of the main proponents of the intelligent design policy, Mr. Bonsell, has previously tried to get creationism on to the local curriculum. Of all the candidates up for re-election, Mr. Bonsell recorded the fewest votes, the NYT reports." source: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/11/09/dover_school_board_booted/ Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. 4. quiet you, it is much more fun this way. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  5. Of course, you could make it a referndum on the Bush Administration (assuming your profile info is correct and you're a Virginia voter)... http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/11/07/AR2005110701413.html Personally, from the little I have seen, I think Kaine is just as much of an ass clown as Kilgore. I still feel that I was unprepared to pick the lesser of the two idiots (or greater, depending on persepctive I guess) so I think my choice is for the best. And it would not matter if Kilgore won or not. I have little faith that Bush would turn around and do something I like...he has has quite some time to do so and has failed on numerous ocassion to impress me. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  6. I guess reading his WHOLE sig line makes sense. I not read so well. Still kneecaps and head would put you around that height.
  7. uhhh, dude. That is IN the article. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  8. Kneecaps? What are you, like 2' 4"? Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  9. Key note: If the friend continually acts like a jerk to you, they are not your friend. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  10. I am in the same position. It is entirely my fault that I did not prepare myself to vote today. And so I feel that it would be a disservice to all if I were to just pick one and go with it. Add to that that the little I have seen of the two running for governor here makes me very sad (fighting, smearing, "no I didn't, yes you did" shit). Its like choosing between a giant douche and a turd sandwich. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  11. You can have mine. This thing was NOT worth the money. That is the LAST time I buy something from an ad beside the "X-RAY Specs" guy. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  12. Hair salon? Never been. Wouldn't know. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  13. well, as long as it is for the record: This guy I know in a place I was once. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  14. I actually agreed with it in principle. But I think it was gone about totally wrong and has been mismanaged ever since. it just leaves a sour taste. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  15. Hi Bill! Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  16. Is there a law that says schools HAVE to have sex education? If not, then I side with the school. If yes, I side with the parents. But I agree with Sudsy, that it would be pretty dumb to go to court over it. But really, is this arguement even a reality? Seems to me that those parents who WANT sex ed in schools would be more inclined to teach their kids about condoms themselves if no such mechanisms existed in school Conversly, if the education is taught in school, a parent who wants to SHIELD their child cannot(except for properly used permission slips) and that is why the hoopla. Rarely does it go the otherway Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  17. So what they SHOULD have complained about was being misled, not the part about sex. They made a mistake in their fight and the court shot them down. Boo hoo. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  18. But since when is lying during an official investigation (who's purpose is to determine if there WAS a crime) not illegal. That is why he was indicted. Stupid in hindsight? Yes. Still illegal? Yes. Obstruction of Justice and Perjury are still illegal even if, in the end, they don't pertain to an actual crime. But please, correct me if I am wrong. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  19. Then I think that is sad and would hope the OTHER parents change the boards mind. But this ruling works the other way around, not in that direction. Parents are NOT sole providers of sex ed does not imply schools MUST teach it. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  20. I am not sure what you mean. The parent WANTS sex education and the school won't give it, or the parent DOES NOT want sex education? My guess is, that this suit was the latter. I would still be in favor of parents not having EXCLUSIVE right to teach their child about sex. That is just not practical and safe in today's world. Edit: it was parents mad that a school gave a survey to students about sex. "The parents maintained they had the sole right "to control the upbringing of their children by introducing them to matters of and relating to sex." source: http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2005/11/02/state/n125603S08.DTL Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. 21. Yup, that is the same guide he sent me. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  22. They are NOT involved in what is being taught. What the decision DID say is that a parent cannot STOP a school from teaching about sex. That is all. My guess is that this ruling was brought about by a PARENT suit and not from the school, but I don't know. someone sued and it got appealed all the way up. That is not being involved in what is being taught though; it is being a court. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  23. I know. And I said nothing, didn't I? Political reason should not be acceptable for such action. Panic? Maybe one time. But multiple times? And what was the reason for the panic. Libby is a hardass; doubtful he would be panicked easily by Fitzgerald. You will also find that I recognize that this Libby went and did something dumb about a crime/non-crime during an OFFICIAL investigation. Whether Plame was outed is really moot at this point. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  24. The same ones that are now: schools. They seem to get this right (at least my school did). All they should teach is the anatomy, reproductive cycle, diseases (and how to get them), abstinence, and prevention. If I missed anything else to do with sex basics, forgive me. No promotion. just what encompasses sex and sexual activity. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  25. Yeah, my rigger packed very few Wings before mine and he was cursing it. Then Henri sent me their PDF guide on how to do it well. The packjobs have been getting better ever since.
