    That is hilarious. I have a friend in OMB. Under Clinton, when new ideas were presented by the adminstration, they listened to what the director and higher ups had to say. Since the inception of the Bush administration, there has been NO DISCUSSION. Policy is handed down and people with years of experience are disregarded. While this is not a left/right issue, it just shows how closed Bush's administration is. Hell, go back and read Newt Ginrich's books and listen to him in interviews. Even Trent Lott. Both worked WITH Clinton to pass legislation even through the impeachment stuff. I have high doubts you are going to find the same stories when Bush is gone. Are the Democrats at fault? Sure, but if you think the Bush admin has bent over to try to work with people outside the administration and their party, you are just plain wrong.     It is not just that rig that is ugly. I have seen plenty of racers...Hartwood used to have a ton...and I just don't think the container looks good at all. The word sleek is one that just does NOT come to mind. I think it is mostly the top flap the comes down last. But like I said, to each his own.

    do they still use velcro to close the reserve pin protector on the inside of backpack? I have never jumped a racer, but looks? really? That picture you posted and the rigs I have seen in person do not make racers look very appealing visually. I guess to each his own.

    Sounds like something from "Shit I could have told you myself." The minority party always gets excited and pissed off easily...because they have less power so they have to yell louder to be heard. In this case (as I see it), we have poorly performing "republicans" and impotent, pathetic democrats with no actual plan to do anything about it. If the Dems were smart, they would shut the fuck up, work out a plan, and let the Republicans implode, but of course, they are not that clever. No minority party is. So why the quotes? Cause if you think the current crop of Republicans are anything other than MORALLY conservative (and even that is questionable), you must live in some different country than the one I do. It seems more and more that the term Conservative Republican is an oxymoron of the highest caliber while in contrast, it should be redundant. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome.     I met this girl once and went to hang out with her at a coffeeshop. She and her friends were big fans of socialism and communism and were going to protest by not voting. Anyway, she was like, "In socialism you can be anything you want" I said, "what if we all what to be actors?" She said, "well, you could." I said, "But who will work the really shitty jobs and who WANTS to work in them anyway?" No answer. Same thing about going to med school for years only to have the exact same amount of money as the guy slinging burgers. Incentive? Pure capitalism and pure coummunism are very nice on paper. The PURE forms just don't actually work in the real world. Greed will destroy both models quite quickly. Both rely far to much on the goodness of all humans.     So, you just proved that your answer of no in this case was false. Just because someone is not in the news daily does not negate their importance. I would say the chief of staff of the second in command is pretty close to center. But donwplay it all you want. Lord knows if this was Gore's chief of staff, you would probably be all over it.     Nah, it's a party full of whuffos, 99% of whom don't know me or know I skydive, so I can get away with the "zero-cost costume" part of it In that case, go for it. However, be careful with taking a rig to a party...unless your idea of party greatly differs than mine.
