This kinda think works well with desk lamps too. If your boss/coworker has a desk lamp, yank the power cord from the wall and place a strip of clear packing tape over one of the prongs on the cord (gotta completely cover it). Plug it back in. Wait. They'll try to turn the lamp on, it won't work. They'll look to see if it's plugged in, it is. They'll replace the lightbulb, still nothing. Usually then they'll pull the plug out of the wall and plug it in to a different outlet, w/o noticing the clear tape....

I've got a pair, and they are Ok. They've got some scratches on them (I've got a bad habit of just throwing them in my gear bag at the end of the day, so it's expected.) After the last jump with them, the foam started to come off of the lens, so I'm looking for a new pair myself... Just my experiences with them..

Are you insulting his education, or the liberal people that provided it?

Grad-student Walkout: First Step to Getting a Union?
justinb138 replied to Sen.Blutarsky's topic in Speakers Corner
Hmm.. Lets assume that they work two semesters, about 9 months, or 39 weeks a year. At 20 hrs a week for 39 weeks, they will work a total of 780 hrs a year. At 15,000$ a year/780 hrs, they're getting paid $19.23/hr. What the hell are they complaining about? -
Usually because the problem is with the user (which is usually involved in a crime), not the gun, yet guns get blamed and then people try to pass legislation against them. Innocent people get hurt because of careless use of everything. It's unfortunate, but it happens. Innocent people are saved by the use of guns all of the time. And you must too. Guns aren't necessary in society, you can live without them. You can also live without prescription drugs. Both could save your life one day, but the guns kill less people every year. People abuse prescription drugs far more than firearms, yet no one is trying to ban all prescription drugs.

Everything is dangerous when not used properly. Ever read the warning label on a hair dryer?

What's an ECM pod? Electronic Counter-Measures. They'd fry any radar gun by taking the signal, multiplying its power by ~10,000 times, and sending it back to the source. Sounds fun Edit: I'd just have to wonder what kind of an effect it would have on the driver and other electronic thingies around it.

Hmm. Prescription drugs cause more deaths than firearms. Interesting... -

Next thing she is going to be crying about is teaching about wars in history class.... What's sad is that some people will actually listen to her. -

Wal-Mart director resigns after internal probe
justinb138 replied to justinb138's topic in Speakers Corner
I'm not trying to make them sound evil, I really don't think they are. I just thought it was an interesting article (well, it was at 1:30 in the morning anyway..) -
Kind of reminds me of a sticker I saw about a decade ago on some guy's garage door. It said "Insured by Smith & Wesson, Policy #357"..

When you base what you say purely on your bitter hatred of the US, I don't give a shit what you think. Start speaking based on the facts, and I might. That comment that you made didn't really help your argument.

I was thinking about similar stuff myself. If the mother knew their crazed father could be out there (as he had broken into the home before), what the hell was she doing letting them play ouside unsupervised?
