Almost there, I got 3 jumps in with Mandy on Saturday, so 3 more left for next weekend. If the weather is nice, I might be showing up with a keg.

On a side note (sorry, but I had to hijack for a second), the WIC program is a good program. I worked in a supermarket for 3 years and saw many young, poor families able to support their kids solely because of WIC. Also, when I was a kid my mom enrolled in the WIC program and it's the only way we could have afforded food.......Both parents had jobs and worked overtime but with me and my brother they couldn't afford proper food/clothing without the program. So just because illegals (and some legals) abuse the program it isn't altogether bad (and i'm not a huge fan of socialism either). It's a great program, but it's easily abused.

Damn you Aaron!! You're making me all jealous....

Personally, I don't give a damn what it takes or how hard it is, it can be done, and is done so by quite a few people. It's a pain in the ass to get my driver's license renewed, but I don't go drive without it becuase it's difficult.
-
I won't disagree with you there, I'm just saying that it happens at a higher rate with illegal immigrants. I know that here, if you get two no-insurance tickets in a certain time period (I think it is 5 or 10 years) you run the risk of getting your license suspended or revoked, but I don't really think it stops anyone from driving. When I was in high school, I worked at a local retail store that accepted the WIC thing. About half of the people I would see come in with it would buy about 100$ worth of food with the WIC card, then go spend $200 on beer, CD's, and video games.

I'm about 5'7 and 220 and didn't have any trouble at all while I was there. It wasn't hot outside, and I was wearing my big heavy-cotton RW suit, but had no trouble getting off of the net. My avg fall rate is around 130-140.

Just stop for a second and think this one through. So, what do you think will be the result if people trying to cross illegally run into a jeep with two (ANY two) civilians driving near the boarder? Obviously they'll know about this "program" of volunteers and probably won't have any qualms about -stopping- the volunteers from doing that non-confrontational reporting. I'm guessing it's going to become confrontational in a -very- short time. Knowing this, the volunteers (directed or not) would be wise to armed. Guess what happens next? If they come across the border illegally, then confront people in a violent manner and get shot, it's their own damn fault.

Can't be that difficult, people do it all the time.

What is the most ugliest car you have ever seen?

Looks like the guy keyed in the $ amount with 00 instead of .00 (supposed to be 16,000). No way that thing is worth anything near that. -
Did you take a look at the website? The site made it pretty clear that they did not intend to confront anyone illegally crossing the border, but to notify the BP that the activity was going on.

Well, as an illegal immigrant, it's pretty difficult to get a driver's license, therefore pretty difficult to get insurance for a car w/o a license, but not hard to get a car at all. A co-worker of mine was hit by an illegal immigrant driving a small truck, and had no license, insurance, anything really. He got off with a ticket from a cop, that I doubt he'll ever have to deal with. She works 2 jobs to pay for her house, car, and to support her two kids. Her car was totaled, and she didn't get much from her insuance company, becuase the car was pretty old. She lives a good 30 miles from work and has been having to get a ride to work from a friend every day for the last three months, as she is not yet able to afford a new car. She was SOL because of that asshole. I would venture a guess that the same thing happens many times a day, every day. The healthcare system gets screwed pretty well too. Ever heard of the WIC program here in TX? I've seen many incidences of abuse of that system by illegal immigrants first-hand. If people want to come here, they need to do it legally. It can't be that difficult, tons of people do it every day.

Really want me to? I can tell you a few right off the top of my head.

I don't think he was saying that anyone sucks at their job, I think he is saying that as a whole, the border patrol is rather inneffective. I belive the reason would primarily be that there are far to few BP people to cover the area they are working with.

Their mission is not to ban guns, they just want to pass enough laws to make it nearly impossible to get one. I haven't heard of any NRA lobbyists trying to get any laws enacted that would allow felons access to firearms either.

To hell with Bush, get red of DeLay! (unless your talking about Jeb, I mean really, how can you be a governor with a name like Jeb? ).

US Supreme Court - is it Bound by the World Court?

Singapore Especially if you go there and spray paint a wall in ENGLISH. What a dumbass.... -
Having a Harley Davidson sticker has pretty much the same effect... I don't think it works here... There are too many white-collar guys that go out and spend a few grand on leathers, stickers, t-shirts, and pretty much every thing else with the HD logo and try to play "bad-ass biker" on the weekends.

Ah, Ok. I misunderstood what you meant by that. I did and "blah, blah, blah" was about all I got out of it. So? You brought up wedding vows being broken, not me, and I'm not married, so no wedding vows yet.
-
What do you have against her husband? You don't seem to be very fond of him. Which vows did he break? True, like staging protests outside a hospice, and labeling an honorable man a murderer because he has tried so hard to honor his wife's final requests. I doubt that. If he didn't care for her, he would have given up a long time ago. Just so you know, a young woman missed her final minutes with a relative at the same hospice earlier in the week (I'll look up the story if you wish) because it took too long for her to get through the other "compassionate" protesters and media people outside the building.

I'm sure Bill can answer that question better then I since Amy is a doctor. The way I see it, if a medical team ask me to leave the room, they are the experts, not me. I'm going to listen to them and excuse myself from the room. Not be a problem to the point that the police had to be called in to remove Terri's father. Do you think the medical team is lieing about the situation? What do they have to gain from a lie? No I'm not saying their lying, hell most hopice center will send a patient home when there is hope left. With the feeding tube removed and his daughter ready for death I question what kind of assessment their were doing that the father would have to leave the room. Doesn't matter what kind of assesment they were doing. If he was being an ass, they might ask him to leave. He was being a ass because they asked him to leave..... Even if they did w/o him being an ass (which I doubt), what does it really have to do with anything?

Your reasoning is severely flawed. HOW? Or Which Part? MINISTER TO GROOM: Do you GROOM'S NAME take BRIDE'S NAME to be your wife – to live together after God’s ordinance – in the holy estate of matrimony? Will you love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer, for better, for worse, in sadness and in joy, to cherish and continually bestow upon her your heart’s deepest devotion, forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto her as long as you both shall live? According to your post above, a "forever decision" should be made by her parents. Isn't marriage a "forever decision" ? By your reasoning, here is what your last post would be:

Wow, that NEVER happens. Ass? Yes. Acting? I doubt it. Isn't he being investigated for some campaign finance thingy right now?

They're a little funny looking, but not near as bad as the first ones that came out (The Insight I think). Doesn't the prius come with bluetooth stuff too? Is there a list becuase of high demand or limited production? I'm not sure which one... Hopefully their popularity will increase as they get more media exposure. It's going to be interesting to see what the manufacturers are going to do with the hybrid technology in the next few years.
